"How was your practice, Kurt?" Blaine asks him.
"It was fine," Kurt returns before he takes step forward so he's close enough to hear Blaine breathe. "Blaine, I am sorry for everything I've done. Frankly, I've been a horrible roommate." Kurt goes to lean for a kiss but decides to stop. The look on Blaine's face is unmasked confusion.
"The only thing you did wrong was slap me. If anything, I should be apologising for cursing and being so closed off." He says, never breaking eye contact.
In the dark kitchen, it's Blaine who is leaning in, his mouth parting slightly. His face is slightly illuminated from the blue oven clock as he inches closer to him.
Seven silent minutes pass as they stare at each other.
And then Blaine whispers his name and hurries to his bedroom, leaving him alone, cold, and confused. Kurt can't help but feel stung for being left like this. He wonders if this is Blaine's slow and agonising revenge for Kurt: leaving him hanging like when he left for Lima. His brain is moving far too fast to actually select athought that seems to be able to sum up the situation. The first words out of his mouth were something Kurt had needed to say for a month.
"My father was in a coma." He watches asBlaine's entire being droops in the doorway at those six words. My father was in a coma.
"Was..." Blaine repeats, his hazel orbs flicking from his left to his right eye. He seems to be searching for something.
"Was." Kurt manages to confirm before he feels a warm hand grasp his own.
"I'm-" Blaine exhales. It takes Kurt a moment to realize how that statement sounded.
"He's awake," Kurt whispers. "I was so scared, I was so scared."
His mouth is over Kurt's in instant, warm and insistent. Blaine took two solid steps back. On the third step he stumbles slightly, presumably over his own bare feet. His lips never left Kurt's. In a vain attempt, he tries to piece together how many times he had thought of this moment. The moment that Kurt would finally be with him, with every inch of his body covering his. Somewhere in the back of his head amid all of these thoughts, he realises that his cheeks are wet with tears. Blaine's thumbs are slightly rough just as Kurt remembers his fingers would be. A single, searing thought passes through Kurt's brain asBlaine's hands roam down the scape of his back, calloused fingers against smooth skin, rubbing light circles when it reached his hips.
His lips were warm and pressed against his neck, Kurt's quick-paced pulse beneath his rogue tongue. Blaine's hands pulled his hips against his own roughly. When their hipbones clashed together a soft gasp escaped from his lips. He could feel his entire body warming up. Every single conversation and moment they had shared, Blaine had been closed off and distant; but right now he was pulling him down against him, his hands gripping Kurt's arms with a surprising amount of strength. He didn't want Blaine's body to be so warm, he didn't want his skin to be smooth and his hands so rough against his, he didn't want his lips to be so soft, he didn't want his breath to ghost across his skin with a lasting impression. He wanted to hate Blaine for being such a rude asshole, he wanted this be nothing more than a worthless rendezvous or a release of tension.
But this was something different for him. He wanted to have complete control over Blaine's needs and he seemed to be more than willing to take care of his as Blaine's hands moved to pull his waist band down. He felt his own hands slide to his shoulders and run his fingers through his gelled black hair. Involuntarily, he sighed against Blaine's lips and he opened his eyes to see his lips curved upwards. Somehow Blaine pressed them even closer, he felt his heart beat faster as his hands slid under his shirt and touched his bare chest. He fought the urge to push Blaine down against the blankets and completely take advantage of him. When he grazed his teeth over Blaine's bare collarbone and looked up, he saw it before he heard it. His lips forming his name and making it heard through a single, delicate sigh of contentment. With a single movement, Blaine lifted his body up and brought it back down fluidly. This time it was Kurt who gasped.

The breathy sound sent his blood racing. They moved up and down against each other slowly, the friction between their lower abdomens occasionally rubbing making Blaine's grip on Kurt's hips shake slightly. Through slightly closed eyes, Blaine saw that his lips were looking overwhelmingly tempting. He kissed them, quickening the pace, grazing his tongue across his bottom lip. Blaine openly kissed him, purposefully mirroring his actions until their tongues touched for no more then a second. He tasted peppermint from the gum Kurt had previously been chewing. The instant Kurt's tongue skirted away from his, he wanted it back, wanted to fully taste him. He pulled back and looked into his eyes with a small, nervous smile playing on his lips. He eyes flickered down to his half naked body and Blaine realised that he was still fully clothed. It took all of his willpower to restrain from kissing him, to show Kurt that he meant one kiss out of the thousand he hoped they'd share this evening. But he didn't. Kurt began distracting him with his mouth moving on his bare neck. His fingers pressed into his hips harder than he intended. He looked down to see the dark pink impressions of his fingernails. Blaine unbuttoned Kurt's shirt with quick ease and pulled his own over his head, the navy blue fabric falling onto the floor, discarded. Somewhere in the back of his head, Blaine hoped he would bruise Kurt and he would have a reminder of this. His lips were against his in moment, insistent as Blaine leaned over Kurt, clasping his hand and pinning it against the bedspread. Kurt shifted to wrap his leg around his thigh with no hesitancy and he quickly pressed himself against him. His lips quivered slightly against his and he kissed his openly, a light click of their teeth greeting his ears, grasping Kurt's with his left hand. He finally thrust against him, tender skin against tender skin, a gasp escaping from both of them at the same time. There was a rustle of the blankets as Blaine adjusted them, their heads facing opposite of the pillows, his head cradled in his hand. Kurt looked up at him, a flush to his face, and his pupils slightly dilated. He didn't know how someone could survive with such blue eyes. Blaine was certain he looked the same way and for an instance he wanted to flee. Instead, he pulled his face close to his and experienced the taste of his tongue properly, moving his hand up and down at a steady pace. Kurt arched his back slightly every time he shifted them upwards, pressing his chest against his. His hands skimmed to Blaine's lower back to press them closer as they moved against each other. Blaine found it almost surprising that his hands were shaking slightly as his fingers became interwoven in his hair again. Blaine pressed Kurt into the mattress harder, grinding against him forcefully. Kurt's breathy moan swirled in the air with the movements of their mouths and bodies. Blaine dug his nails into his skin with the reward of another breathy moan and he almost smiled as his face flushed even more. He sat up, making sure that he was comfortable before he kept moving, he sighed whenever their hips connected. He scattered kisses over his chest and neck as Kurt's arms wrapped around his neck, his fingers pressing into his shoulders. Their mouths connected in a clash of heavy breathing and a light sheen of sweat. He cupped the back of his neck with his right hand, with his left hand on working on both of them and pulled him closer. He smiled against his lips as their hands brushed against each other delicately. Every nerve in his body was reacting to this brunette, he thought as he sighed against Kurt's mouth. It took several long moments of thrusting and hand movements before he felt a familiar clenching in his abdomen, a low, guttural sound erupting from his shaking core. He squeezed his eyes shut as he rocked Kurt, sloppily kissing his neck. He didn't even try to stop the sounds that were coming from his mouth, he heard Kurt panting heavily. Blaine moaned softly as he spilled over in his own hand, the sound erupting from behind his lips and clashing with Kurt's. The fact that Blaine had finished before Kurt made him want to cry. This was supposed to be about Kurt. Kurt pulled Blaine's face to his own and covered his moan with his mouth, sucking in his bottom lip between his teeth. He opened his eyes to see his face centimeters away his own. Blaine kept his gaze on the boy's as he moaned softly, spilling into Blaine's hand.
"Kurt Hummel..." He murmured. He touched their foreheads together.
"Blaine Anderson." Kurt whispered after he pressed a kiss to the corner of his mouth. Blaine kissed him heatedly, adjusting them both to lay back down again. They were both covered in sweat and each other, but none of that mattered as he laid next to Kurt, watching almost fondly as his eyes fluttered closed. Before he fell asleep, he recalled how Kurt simply falling asleep was much different than him passing out.
