The sun was up when I opened my eyes. Shining through the window as the best of Madonna played through the speakers.
I rolled to my side and grunted. I was starving never have I been so hungry.
Chandler turned to look at me, "you're finally up."
"Blood," I begged. He threw a bag of blood from the Columbus hospital. I snapped it open and sucked the lukewarm blood and felt it splash in my stomach.
"Its 7:11 and we are 143 miles outside of Winchester Virginia, sunny day and a clear night." He turned to look at me, "do you want to know tomorrows forecast?"
"No." I groaned throwing the empty bag aside trying to sit up. "More?"
He passed me another bag, "how do you feel?"
I sucked on the other bag sucking every last drop still hungry for more. "Like shit," I grunted looking down at my leg. My veins were green and pulsating in uneven patterns the bite had decayed my skin leaving it a dull orange color against my normal alabaster skin tone. I only glanced at my shoulder it was a deeper bite and looked twice as bad. "Can I have more blood?"
"Sure," he said handing me another then he began singing material girl.
I closed my eyes and drank sinking into the car seat. I felt the leather and worried about missing the concert. "Rachel you drive too fast!" I said as we turned, "I mean it, do you want to get a ticket."
"You don't drive so don't complained. I know exactly what I'm doing," she replied.
"Kurt what are you talking about?" Chandler asked.
"The concert starts in thirty minutes, I think we can miss the opening as a safety precaution." I replied.
She laughed at me, "I am not missing any seconds of Madonna. You're not car sick are you?"
"Kurt hey look at me," Chandler said. I snapped my eyes open and stared at him growing confused. "Are you okay?"
"Where are we?"
"In Virginia, Rose has a cure for a werewolf bite." He said.
"There is no cure, stake me before I go rabid please." I begged groaning in pain.
My vision blurred becoming red and foggy I blinked several times trying to shake it but I saw the back of a horse carriage, Amelia looked at me and smiled, "you're coming home." I stared at her and looked to my right at Julian and Emily, then to my left at Rebeka and Sarah. "We've missed you."
"I'm the reason you are all dead."
"And we forgive you Kurt." Emily said. "Come home."
I began coughing feeling everything in side me erupt with anger. I looked back up and saw Chandler, I must be hallucinating.
"Chandler let me go," I said weakly, "I'm already hallucinating what happens when I forget we made up and I attack you?"
"Have you looked at yourself the past eight hours. I can take you down half drunk with my eyes closed. I'm not worried about you. Just go back to sleep we'll be at Rose in a few." He said.
I lied down and started to shiver. The back seat kept changing back and forth from a carriage to the Expedition I closed my eyes and saw all the demons I've been running from.
