When I got home Rachel was in her room with the door open. I let myself in a sat on her bed she turned from her desk to look at me, "Do we need to go out?" She questioned.
I shook my head no, "you're new timey, what do people do when they miss someone but it hasn't even been a full day and you need to focus on something else?"
Rachel snorted, "well I watch TV." I groaned, "I know you don't like them but it really helps."
"I prefer live acting, TV is a nuisance and it never, I mean never, makes sense. How do two wire pointed to the sky make it work." I said.
"Its much more organized now, and we can just watch movies." Rachel said still laughing at me.
"What else can I do?" I asked throwing the TV idea out the window.
"Go out dancing with me?" She raised an eyebrow. I shook my head no so she suggested, "we can play really sappy love songs and stuff our faces with pound of ice cream."
"These are getting progressively worse Rachel." I said watching her shrug. She turned back to her computer.
"Call him then," she said as her computer made this strange noise.
"No, it hasn't even been a full day." I protested. "I need to know I can go a day with out my boyfriend." I said but truthfully I really don't think I can.
"Fine then I will." She said pressing a bottom that made her computer sound like a phone.
The call answered with a few guys laughing and Blaine on her screen smiling wide, "hey Rachel."
"Hi Blaine, what are you doing?" She asked. I stared incredulously at her.
"Warbler practice just ended and we were talking in my room. Hey you know that song Hey Soul Sister by Train?"
"Yeah," Rachel replied.
"We can't decide if it belongs in an eight part harmony or six."
"6 it has this jazzy feel to it you don't need to many voices."
"I told you so." A voice said.
"Thank you Rachel, did you need anything?" Blaine asked.
"Nope, just saw you were online thought I'd say hi."
"Oh," Blaine smile, "is Kurt around?"
"He's on my bed," Rachel said turning the computer to me. I waved and smiled at him. He smiled back warming me up. Rachel turned the computer back around, "I'll see you tomorrow Blaine."
"Night Rachel." The screen returned to a cloud background.
Blaine's happiness radiated inside me. "Thank you Rachel." I said leaving her room to my own. I lied on Blaine's side of the bed and inhaled. God I miss him so much. I looked up at our picture, soul mates.
I feel like he ran off with half of my heart. I felt his love and sent mine back. I spent the evening just loving him and looking forward to our future together. He has no idea how much he means to me.
