Without Blaine the apartment seemed empty, Rachel spent most her time in her room and I tried to figure out what I was going to do without Blaine. Since he came into my life I have no idea what I did before.
Kellie decided to stay in Ohio for a few weeks so we made plans to talk over wine tonight.
Our conversations always started light, she told me how much she enjoys her relatives and how nice Ohio is. She then asked about me and Blaine.
"I never in my 200 years thought you would get with a human. Why Blaine, we talked for a moment and he's brilliant but there's gotta be more."
"Kellie, I can't explain it, I mean, I love the way he makes me feel. Like I'm not this monster or murder but I'm his best friend. He doesn't expect anything from me, not a damn thing." I said, "I just love him. No strings attached. He makes me smile."
"So its not the sex, I heard sex with humans is fun."
I laughed, "We haven't had sex yet. We're waiting for a special uninterrupted moment."
"Oh, that's sweet. I'm glad you're happy Kurt."
"I'm only taking your advice."
"I'd love to take credit for the is new you." She smiled shaking her head.
"A lot of it is Rachel too." I said watching her roll her eyes.
"Rachel, that child has so much to learn." Kellie said closing her eyes shaking her head.
"I know Chandler hates her because who made her, she's a flapper, and is one of my closet friends but why don't you like her?"
"Isn't it obvious, her ability. How did she get one and we didn't. She isn't even responsible with it." Kellie let out her frustrations. Which made perfect sense, Rachel was one of the four vampires I knew personally with an ability and the only one Kellie knew. For a long time Rachel would manipulate people to get what she wanted, Kellie never trusted her.
"She has changed, so much, Kellie. She hardly uses her ability these days." I said.
"I accept the fact that you will protect her til the day you meet the final death, I just don't trust her." Kellie changed the subject began talking about Charles.

When I got home Rachel was in her room with the door open. I let myself in a sat on her bed she turned from her desk to look at me, "Do we need to go out?" She questioned.
I shook my head no, "you're new timey, what do people do when they miss someone but it hasn't even been a full day and you need to focus on something else?"
Rachel snorted, "well I watch TV." I groaned, "I know you don't like them but it really helps."
"I prefer live acting, TV is a nuisance and it never, I mean never, makes sense. How do two wire pointed to the sky make it work." I said.
"Its much more organized now, and we can just watch movies." Rachel said still laughing at me.
"What else can I do?" I asked throwing the TV idea out the window.
"Go out dancing with me?" She raised an eyebrow. I shook my head no so she suggested, "we can play really sappy love songs and stuff our faces with pound of ice cream."
"These are getting progressively worse Rachel." I said watching her shrug. She turned back to her computer.
"Call him then," she said as her computer made this strange noise.
"No, it hasn't even been a full day." I protested. "I need to know I can go a day with out my boyfriend." I said but truthfully I really don't think I can.
"Fine then I will." She said pressing a bottom that made her computer sound like a phone.
The call answered with a few guys laughing and Blaine on her screen smiling wide, "hey Rachel."
"Hi Blaine, what are you doing?" She asked. I stared incredulously at her.
"Warbler practice just ended and we were talking in my room. Hey you know that song Hey Soul Sister by Train?"
"Yeah," Rachel replied.
"We can't decide if it belongs in an eight part harmony or six."
"6 it has this jazzy feel to it you don't need to many voices."
"I told you so." A voice said.
"Thank you Rachel, did you need anything?" Blaine asked.
"Nope, just saw you were online thought I'd say hi."
"Oh," Blaine smile, "is Kurt around?"
"He's on my bed," Rachel said turning the computer to me. I waved and smiled at him. He smiled back warming me up. Rachel turned the computer back around, "I'll see you tomorrow Blaine."
"Night Rachel." The screen returned to a cloud background.
Blaine's happiness radiated inside me. "Thank you Rachel." I said leaving her room to my own. I lied on Blaine's side of the bed and inhaled. God I miss him so much. I looked up at our picture, soul mates.
I feel like he ran off with half of my heart. I felt his love and sent mine back. I spent the evening just loving him and looking forward to our future together. He has no idea how much he means to me.
