"Blaine," I sung, "darling wake up its time for school." Blaine groaned pulling the covers over his head. I laughed, "Blaine come on. I made you breakfast."
"What did you make me?" He asked muffled under the blanket.
"A big veggie omelet, fresh squeezed orange juice." I listed in a happy chipper voice.
"Can I eat in bed?" He asked pulling the blanket down enough for me to see his big eyes.
"Nope, I set the table," I kissed his forehead and walked out the room. I heard him grumbling his way to the bathroom. I stepped into the living room just as Rachel came through the door.
"Kurt can we talk," she asked.
"Oh my god what happened to you?!" She was covered in blood and dirt.
She looked down the hall to my door as the toilet flushed. She nodded her head towards her room, I followed her cautiously shutting the door behind me. She had her back to me at first then turning around, "I am so sorry Kurt, I hadn't fed in almost a week and I swear to you it'll never happen again."
"I believe you." I said she took breath of relief, "now what happened to you?"
"I hunted, I follow the trail left behind along with Blaine scent and I killed them. Not before finding out why."
"Kurt, this is amazing." Blaine said through the wall.
"Clean your self up, I'll be back." I said stepping out the door.
Blaine was sitting at the table with a wide smile. "Thank you so much."
"You're very welcome. Are you feeling better?" I asked sitting across from him.
"Yes, I feel so healthy, and full of energy." Blaine said taking a bite. "This tastes amazing!"
"Eat up, the blood has some side effects..." I said looking away.
"I remember you saying something about it before." Blaine said taking another bite.
"Yeah, we are a lot closer now. I can feel your emotions, and you'll feel mine. You'll notice you're stronger and look healthier."
"Yeah, my skin looks brighter." Blaine interrupted me.
"All of it will wear off in a few days time. It won't be too noticeable though." I said.
"Thank you, Kurt. You saved my life again." Blaine said taking my hand.
"Don't mention it." I said as Rachel stepped out the bathroom in a fluffy robe and hair in a towel.
"Blaine," she sung running through the living room to give him a hug. "Can I take you to school?" She asked as the towel around her head started to fall.
"I already thought you were, you have the car." Blaine laughed taking a drink.
"Oh right duh," Rachel shook her head laughing returning to her room to finish getting ready.
"I need to shower, thank you for breakfast dear." Blaine stood up and gave me a kiss.
I cleaned the table and did the dishes as Rachel and Blaine got ready. Rachel surprisingly was ready before him.
"Will you finish telling me, I can't focus." I asked wiping down the counters.
"I will, but Blaine really doesn't need know and he is an eavesdropper. I'll tell you as soon as we get back." She said. I sighed at her rolling my eyes.
"So where's my breakfast?" She teased.
"It's not your last first day of high school." I stuck my tongue at her and walked to my room to check on Blaine and change.
He was in the bathroom gelling his hair back. He turned to me and smiled, "I'm almost done."
"Do you have everything?" I asked removing my shirt and replacing it with a white button up.
"Yes, I'm just going to leave my clothes I brought here, I've got tons in my dorm. I only wish I could take you." He washed the gel off his hands then emerged from the bathroom.
"Text me and call me every moment you can." I told him as I threw a black vest on. He stepped in front of me and threw his arms around me hugging me like he'd never see me again.
I took a deep breath, inhaling his wintery scent setting it to memory. I felt his emotions, a bit jumbled but I felt his affection strongest next to nervous, excited, sad, and worry. He released me and gave me a quick kiss, "Let's go."
I took his hand and we walked out to the living room Rachel whipping her phone out to take a picture of us before we left.
I expected the school parking lot to be packed, but Blaine explained that everyone moved into the dorms over the week except him who was preregistered and already moved in. Rachel waited in the car as I walked with him to the big mahogany doors.
"I love you, have fun." I said.
"This is our first time apart all month, I'm coming back tomorrow afternoon, don’t let Rachel take my closet space okay." he joked giving me a soft kiss. "I love you. Bye."
"See you later." I replied watching him walk in and being greeted right away by boys. I smiled softly to myself as I returned to the car. Rachel turned to me as I got in the car.
"Easier said then done?"
"Much easier, will you tell me what you did last night already." She gave me a look that I hadn't seen from her since we met. It was the look she gave when she did something she wasn’t proud of. She held her hand out but looked away from me. I took it and saw why she was ashamed.
