“Lucky, I wish I was him, I have work in 5 hours.” Kurt said turning his lamp off.
“I can watch him more if you need to work. I honestly don’t mind, I have nothing better to do. But I am working on a novel.” She threw her jeans on Kurt's chaise and pulled on some cheer shorts before crawling into bed with him.
“That would be great, what were you two talking about while I was out.” Kurt asked as the room went dark after Rachel turned her side lamp off.
“He thinks your super cute, his words not mine. And we were just talking about you.” Kurt could hear her smile even though he couldn’t see it. “It’s so funny because he’s like 25 and he talks like a little kid with a huge crush on his teacher.”
Kurt groaned, “I'm going to bed now,” he put his head under the covers.
“He reminds me of you when we were young, I miss being young, not worrying about a think other then whether your crush likes you back.”
“I was serious when I said I was going to bed.” Kurt mumbled from under the covers.
“Do you like him back? He wants to know?” Rachel asked holding back laughter. “Maybe he’ll write you a not, check yes or No you like me.” Rachel couldn’t stop laughing which then made Kurt laugh.
“Go sleep on the couch messenger.” Kurt turned to his side and tried to ignore her.
“Kurt and Blaine sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G…” she whispered right before she turned and fell asleep.
Kurt woke up to the smell of pancakes wafting down the hall. He felt around for Rachel but heard her laugh and knew she was at the source of the delectable smell. Kurt put on his robe and dragged his feet into the kitchen.
"Morning Kurt, Blaine made us breakfast," Rachel said over enthusiastic to be 6 in the morning.
"Coffee," Kurt grumbled. Blaine pulled a mug from the cabinet and poured Kurt coffee. Kurt dropped sugar into his coffee and drank it savoring the bitter taste as it awoken his mental functions.
"I made pancakes," Blaine said just as chipper as Rachel.
"I'll take just the coffee but thank you." Kurt said taking another drink.
"He's grumpy in the morning," Rachel explained in a loud whisper, "come sit Blaine."
Blaine sat beside Rachel with his plate of pancakes and glass of milk. He smiled and looked to Kurt.
"What time do you go to work?" Blaine asked.
"Right about now, I'm just too tired to bake cake." Kurt said sighing. "I need to get ready," Kurt grumbled, "Thanks for breakfast." Kurt got ready for work quickly but was too tired to function. He poured himself another cup of coffee and bid the sunshine twin a good day.
Rachel and Blaine sat on the couch watching the today show. "I miss new York so much." Rachel said.
"It looks beautiful," Blaine said, his tone was very distracted.
"Are you alright? Did you remember something?" Rachel asked turning her full attention to him.
"I had a funny dream last night but I'm pretty sure its a memory." Blaine explained.
"Oh I got you a journal last night, so you can write all this stuff down." Rachel said pointing to a target bag beside her purse in the chair. "But tell me what you dreamt."
"I'm 100% sure it was a memory because I was coming out to my parents. I remember everything like it was yesterday, even the fact I changed forks because mine was dirty." Blaine explained.
"How did they take it?" Rachel asked calmly.
"They both hated it, my dad yelled at me called me a fagot, and my mom just cried. She told me she will do everything she can to cure me. My dad just wanted me out. I don't know what happens after that." Blaine looked really distraught so Rachel wrapped him in a hug.
"They shouldn't have reacted like that, Blaine. You are still their son, nothing changed." Rachel assured him and saw his eyes were welting up with tears. "Kurt's gay, my dads are gay, I've gone down that slope just never tell my husband he will get ideas." She tried to make him smile.
"I don't know I'm scared, that woman in the photo what if she is my wife and I have been hiding myself from her." Blaine sighed and wiped his eyes.
"I'm sure there is an explanation for all of this Blaine." Rachel assured him.
"So what kind of TV does 2011 hold?" Blaine asked.
"For starters we have Netflix, which means all the TV movies you want at the touch of the remote. We can have a pop culture day. To start, we will watch modern family, I think you will love this show. It wins all the awards and there is a fabulous gay couple." Rachel raved changing the TV to Netflix and starting their day.
