I lied in bed all day, told my dad I was sick and told Quinn I couldn't face Blaine. Both were true, but bother were lies also. I had a sick feeling and an empty void that only Blaine could feel but I was almost sure he didn't want to see me.

To my surprise he came over just before school ended. "Who was at he door dad?" I asked as a double check but I knew I felt his energy close.

"Blaine, the boy that took you out. I told him you weren't feeling well." My dad kept talking but I was already running out the door.

I saw Blaine back by the creek and then he disappeared into a little rip in the air. I ran as fast as I could to squeeze in the whole before it closed and I was so glad I did.

We were in this beautiful glade with flowers all over the clearing, a small creek could be heard but not seen. There was a stool carved from trees in the middle and there was Blaine flying and smiling with excitement.

"Blaine?" I called gingerly.

He snapped around to look at me, "Kurt? What are you doing here? How did you get here?"

"I followed you..." I said a little embarrassed.

He stood still looking at me, waiting for me to do something. "I'm sorry." He started with, "if I would have know you weren't part water fae I would have never messed with you."

"No, don't say that. I'm glad you did. You make me feel alive and important. I'm glad we did this." I said, he didn't look too convinced so I changed the subject. "Why haven't I met your brother Ford?"

"The night we came to earth, it was because we were ambushed in our castle, he didn't make it." Blaine said trying not to cry.

"Quinn said he killed my mom." I said softly. "Is that true?"

"No, he tried to save her. He loved her, the way I love you. Water fae did attack her that night but he came to rescue her. Only she didn't want what he offered." Blaine explained.

"And what did he offer?" I stammered.

"Eternity with him, he would save her and they would run away. Se wanted to just go back to her family and forget any of this happened but he explained to her that if she went back you and Quinn would parish. So instead of running away with Ford, she jumped off the bridge and blamed him for her death." He said, "you don't believe me though."

"No I do. I remember him now, when I was younger, he was one of the nurses that worked with her he brought me a Lincoln log set for my birthday. My dad didn't like him thought, he spent to much time with my mom and he thought that were having an affair." I said remembering his jet black hair and ocean blue eyes. I remembered his smile and the way mom had a special smile when she was with him. I don't know if she ever loved him but I knew he made her happy.

"Would you run away with me?" Blaine asked with hopeful eyes.

"I don't know." I answered honestly. "I love you, and you're the only person I have ever met since my mom died, that truly makes me happy. I just don't know if I could leave my family." I said thinking about Blaine's side of the story with my mothers death, "maybe if I was in the situation my mother was in I would go with you, but right now, things are perfect."

"I understand." He said casting his eyes down. I walked over to him and put my hand on his cheek.

"Yes Blaine. I will run away with you. You tell me when and I'm gone." I said. He smiled and kissed me, I returned the kiss with equal passion.

"I love you Kurt. I've spent lots of time just looking for someone and I found you after all this time." He said.

I smiled, "teach me how to swim."

"You don't have to Kurt, in fact it might be better if you don't. Bad things can happen especially in the fae world. Everything is ten times more alive here then on earth. If you get in the water here vines at the bottom will hold you under, not because you're part air fae, but because they like to have a laugh here and there."

"That's terrifying," I replied.

"I can teach you how to fly, you can't fly in the human world at all, I can't fly there either but here you." He said. "Take my hand."

I did as he told and he pulled me close and lifted off. I was shocked I pulled my body closer to his and closed my eyes and we went higher and higher.

"Kurt open your eyes, were in a tree." He said I peaked and saw we were on top of a tree, not quiet in it.

"Now what?" I asked.

"Walk on air, you should be ten times better at this then I am. Believe in your self." He said.

"Hold my hand and don't let go until I say." I said holding to his hand tightly as I let one of my legs step off the tree top. I took my second leg and fell a little but Blaine held me up.

"Just relax love, you can do it." He encouraged.

I took a deep great and was determined to walk over to the next tree. I took a few small steps and then just went for it. I jumped and didn't fall. Blaine cheered as I began to move in the air. He was right, it was easy. A second nature almost I let go of Blaine's hand and propelled myself upward. It was the single most beautiful thing I've ever done. I went higher, to the trees above the small trees, I wanted to touch the sun but instead when I got all the was up I saw the war my mother spoke of. It was just like my dream only this was a graveyard. There was no life there it was just sad, burnt down really truly horrible what was left. I floated back down silently. Not sure what to tell Blaine.

"You having fun?" He asked with a smile but saw it in my eyes. "What did you see?"

"It was bad, the war, how long has it been going on?" I sat beside him genuinely interested.

"A little over 50 years, fae years, that's around 9 earth years. We all lived together in perfect balance and harmony but something made your grandfather snap. He started attacking water fae in his kingdom then told all air fae to attack. We just protected yourself at first. We were stronger, we used water to attack and we were winning. Until your the king ordered the draining of lakes. He took all the water from several areas and put it in a dam in his kingdom causing us to grow weak. What sucks the most is we already lost a great majority of the fairies to the vampire war 400 years ago, there use to be earth fae but they died and that's why the vines at the bottom of the lake hold you, the earth fae taught them how to act and with out them the plants and earth just do their own thing."

"That's horrible." I said. I wrapped myself into Blaine's arms as the sun started to set.

"I'm sure there was a reason, the air king wouldn't just kill us like heartlessly like that. I wish I knew what it was." Blaine said daydreaming.

I sat there silent as well watching the night sky fade to black. It was beautiful the way the stars danced and twinkled as the moons came up there were three. A big one right above us it was half as bright as the sun. Then there was a small one just peeking between the treetops and the last was was even smaller and next to the big one almost like it was orbiting it.

"The moons are so pretty here." I said.

"There use to be seven, but they were blacked out, the moon makes us stronger, and those were lost in the war." Blaine said.

"What are we going to do?" I asked seeing Blaine was hurting in his memories.

"What do you mean?" He replied looking down at me.

"When we go back, Quinn hates you and I'm sure she has been feeding Brittany lies too. And your sisters and brothers, just knowing I'm air fae they wont want me around at all." I sighed, "I love you and I want to see you everyday but the people around us wont allow it."

"Your dad doesn't care, and my mom doesn't care. I mean, if you want we can meet in secret but honestly I'm the strongest fighter in my whole family, anyone have something to say, they can take it up with me." Blaine said. His comment gave me shivers as I remembered my nightmare.

"Okay, that works with me. We will hide something's but you're mine, and I'm yours, anyone have a problem with it then can take it up with you." I smiled and kissed him.

"I should probably get home. It must be late." I spoke but Blaine shook his head.

"It hasn't even been ten minutes on earth, time moves different here remember." He said, "I want to kiss you for the rest of the night if you'd let me."

I nodded my head and he kissed me, his body slowly moving on top of mine. The plants around us started making noise that made Blaine pull away and laugh, "what are they doing?" I asked slightly out of breath.

"This is a mating song. These plants are very smart and they remember things earth fae taught them."

"Maybe we should follow their lead." I said in a timid tone, "make love to me Blaine."

He nodded his head and started to kiss me only this was different I felt his energy inside me and it felt so right.
