Author's Notes: Historicly, ___Minutes to Midnight was an estimate til the atomic war.... Random fact of the day....
I couldn't stop starring at Kurt, unlike school he was showing himself. The fairy side to be exact, his skin glowed under the moon light. He was suddenly quite and shy now that we were alone. I took his hand and continued to walk til we got to the creek behind his house. The moon was close to full and illuminated the whole earth.
"So now what?" Kurt asked since I stopped walking. I leaned in and kissed him. His mouth was soft and timid but excited to meet mine. There was a sudden breeze that made me pull back and look around.
"What is it?" Kurt asked one hand covering his mouth a bit.
"Nothing," I said as I realized we were alone and earth probably has breezes all the time for no reason. "Sit with me." I walked over to the pond and sat looking over my shoulder to see why Kurt was hesitant.
"I'm scared.... of the water that is. I can't swim."
"I'm a water fae Kurt. I wont let anything happen to you. I swear." I held out my hand as he took it and sat with me. His hand was shaking as his eyes never left the pond.
"Why are you afraid, water is who you are." I said, turning his head to meet my eyes.
"You're giving me butterflies," Kurt said quickly turning his head to look at our hands. "Show me that glowing thing," he asked.
I raised an eyebrows and lifted my hand, "this?" I asked focusing energy to my hand causing it to glow.
"Yeah, that how do you do it." Kurt asked.
"Take a deep breath, close your eyes." I said watching him closely, I placed my hand over his heart, "now, tell me what you feel."
"Noting." Kurt said right away.
"No focus, listen to what's around you, feel the earth, now pull all of that energy from around you." I smiled as his hand started to glow. "Open your eyes."
Kurt opened them and gasped, "oh my god I did it." He wrapped his arms around my neck and kissed me vigorously pushing me back into the grass.
I let my hands travel towards his waist, the energy he was giving off was cosmic, I was worried he couldn't control it if we continued kissing like this, but I was completely lost in his mouth.
My hands traveled up his back causing him to studded. I rolled over and laid on top of him feeling his energy transfer into me making me feel like I was swimming around in the widest and deepest of oceans.
Suddenly I knew what love was. The way he was making me feel I knew this was everything I've ever been looking for. I understood what my parents felt when they looked at each other. I knew why marriage was so sacred to my culture. It was beautiful. I never wanted to let him go.
I pulled away from him opening my eyes seeing our light glow and brighten the whole valley. His eyes were brighter then ever, his pupils lust blown and what blue you could see were melting me away.
"What was that?" He asked watching the light dim down around us.
"Super Nova. Or something a lot like it." I smiled and lied down beside him.
"I've never seen the sky this late at night there are so many stars." He said staring up in awe.
I glanced at my watch, "we should probably head home, its seven minutes til midnight."
"Oh god. Quinn is going to bite my head off." Kurt said getting up helping me up as well.
I took Kurt's hand, "we'll be home before she has a chance too." I promised walking out of the creek. Luckily he lived right behind the creek so it took us about two minutes to get back.
"Hey Blaine look it," Kurt grinned as his finger began to glow.
"You're amazing, but you already knew that." I kissed his cheek.
"I feel a lot better now that were away from the wafted. I feel like I can fly." He let go of my hand and span around in a circle.
"Really? It should be the opposite..." I gave him a strange look as we stopped in front of his house.
"I'm sorry babe, I know you love the water. I just feel like I'm being smother anytime I'm near a lake or a pond. I love an open glade though, I love nature, and flowers and birds and sunlight." He went on but I froze.
He can't be, there is no way he is a air fae. "Kurt what was your moms full name?" I stuttered.
He stopped and looked at me, "Elizabeth Aura Loftis, why do you ask?"
I covered my mouth just as Quinn opened the front door, "Kurt! Its midnight. Inside now."
"Give me a minute will you." He shouted back, "what is it Blaine?" He put his hand on my arm but I jerked away.
"I have to go," I stuttered and started walking home.
"Wait!" Quinn's voice said running to catch up with me, I saw Kurt look confused as he walked into the house.
"What Quinn?" I asked curtly.
"I know what you are, I know who you are. And I'm telling you nicely, stay away from my family, you killed my mother, I wont let you kill my brother or sister. Leave us alone." Quinn.
"Fine with me." I hissed and turned to walk faster. It started to rain as tears began to stream down my face.
My mother was waiting for me at the door and as she saw me she pulled me in a tight hug telling me she was sorry.
