Everyday felt like a lie, as we adjusted to the new realm, mom started calling us by our human names and encouraging the kids to do the same. We had to attend school now and it made no sense half the time. The humans all stared at us, our human forms were perfect as marina- Santana said. But high school sucked, at least that's what all the kids thought one moment or another.
I saw this boy walking quickly to class, he kept his head down and the music ear pieces playing very loud. He was very cute but there was more to it, he was part fae. Not more then 1/4 but I had to introduce my self to him. He walked right past me, twice, it was unbelievable. Every other human gawked when I walked by but his eyes were glued to the floor and I saw why.
There was a big human the pushed him clean into the lockers, his face scrunched in pain as he shouted at the big one. I looked around to see if the humans even cared that one was hurt another but they didn't they were walking around him like fallen tree. I walked over and took the big ones hand pulling him to the floor, "leave him alone, never mess with this boy again or I will find you and it won't be pretty." I threatened letting him go and watching him run off.
I turned to look at mr. handsome, boy was he good looking. I smiled at him listening to his mind thank me over and over.
Don't mention it cutie. I smiled at him as his eyes grew wide.
Wait you can hear me? He thought.
I smiled and winked at him, of course I can silly, see you around. I said returning to my class room before that bell that made the students scatter like roaches went off. Then the old hag started writing human numbers and talking sending me back a billion years to the age of pure confusion.
"I don't like math either," I said to the girl sitting beside me, she didn't reply she just stared.
I didn't bother paying attention to this class or the next about all the dead people, but finally I got marine biology. The only class that made sense and marina was in class with me that was a plus. We sat in the back of the class talking abut my crush and hers.
"I know he is part fae and if your girl is they are probably brother and sister. What are the chances that faes were in Ohio USA." I told her.
"I know, but you don't have a class with yours, Brittany and I have gymnastics together and I'm joining the Cheerios." She said.
"I don't know what his name is, I was too distracted too ask, his eyes are like oceans." I said daydreaming about them.
"Hers too, we should double date," Marina said.
I scrunched up my face in confusion, "double what?"
"You should have watched, read those books mom got for us, its when we, you and me, take Brittany and her brother out to eat and to do something fun before we eat or after. Ask him out, we'll do it tomorrow." Marina said.
"Okay, my first human date, I'm excited." I said doing a little dance to myself marina shook her head and snickered at me.
After class I looked for him and found him at the lockers his ear music makers in again so I tapped on his shoulder and pulled into and empty class room. He was frightened at first and smiled when he realized it was me.
"Oh hey, I was hoping I'd see you again." He said his voice chiming crisply. I was so consumed with my sudden lust for him I kissed him, his lips tasting like magic and grapes. I pulled away and smile at him, "were going on a double date tomorrow, I'll pick you up at seven." I said turning to walk away again.
"Wait, what's your name?" He asked breathlessly.
"My names Blaine." I smiled.
"Kurt," he said staring at me.
"I'll pick you up at seven Kurt."
