"Good night Blaine," I responded going to my room.
What are theses feeling. I want Blaine to be mine and mine alone. I don’t want to share him with some pretty blonde, or with his crazy father and deranged mother. Because they didn’t deserve that light. The light his smile brings like 400 years of night, his smile shows me the sun. I was just so angry that I'm developing these empathetic emotions that I turned off centuries ago. I need to feed. I run out the house silently and find someone to snack on before I have to return to Blaine's simple perfection.
I returned home just as stealthy as I left only this time I heard Blaine murmuring in his sleep. I stepped into the living room and heard him muffled by the pillow, “Stop it. Please just don’t hurt him.” I walked over to him and saw him sweating and shaking. “NO!” he cried. I couldn’t stand the sound of him in pain, I quickly shook him awake.
“Blaine, wake up.” I said in a soft voice. His eyes snapped open and his breathing labored as he looked around the room trying to remember where he was. I gently pushed curls off his forehead. “Hey its okay.” I assured him.
He nodded but was still shaken up. His body radiated so much heat even with the blood in my system I must feel like ice to him. He didn’t seem to mind, well he just stared thought me, thinking of what ever images his mind tortures him with at night. “Are you going to be okay?” I asked him. He shook his head know and shrugged at the same time
“Come on,” I took his hand. He gave me a quizzed look, “Come sleep in my room.” I explained pulling him along.
“Don’t you go to work in a few hours?” he asked me in a quiet small shaking voice.
“It doesn’t mater, I’ll be fine.” I said opening my room door pulling him along with me. He looked at me once before climbing into the bed. He lied on his side and watched me get under the covers with him.
“Thank you.” He leaned over and kissed my forehead before closing his eyes and trying to sleep again.
His lips left a hot impression on my head, I felt like his sweet soft lips had just branded me. I wasn’t thinking when I reached under the covers and took his hand, but it’s obvious when it comes to Blaine, I never think.
The sun was up and I had to disappear, but watching him sleep was the best ting I have ever witnessed in my 449 years, and I knew in just 14 more hours I could do it all over again.
I climbed under my bed into my hidden cubbyhole and waited to hear him awake.
