I felt sympathy for him; I never knew my mother and I never made it back home to my father. But to be disowned, that is something I never had to go through, maybe it was just the thing in the 21-century, in the 1600 family meant the world. The bigger the better, I put my hand on his comfortingly. “I’m sorry to hear that.” I said, “Do you have a place to stay?”

“No,” he said after a moment calming himself down, “I was just going to wait it out, my mom tried to talk him out of it. And school starts in two week, I live there.”

“You can stay here for the night.” I said.
His eyes grew wide, “Really, but you don’t even know me, I could be a murder or you could.”

I laughed coldly at his comment. “Well, if I was a killer, wouldn’t you be dead already?” he held my gaze for a moment before breaking in to a soft smile.

“You’re right.” He said looking down at my hand still over his. I removed it quickly noticing it was probably freaking him out. “My dad, he kicked me out because I’m gay.” His eyes moved lowly up to meet mine, “That doesn’t bother you does it.”

“Of course not.” I said, “I’m gay too.” His eyebrows shot up and a smile crept across his face.

“I guess I'm lucky I found you.” He said, “I won't stay long, I don’t want to be a burden to you.”

“Don’t worry about it, I've got an empty room and you can sleep on the couch tonight until I get a bed for it.” I said, he continued to beam at me like I was an angel rather then the monster I've been know for.

“Okay then,” he said sniffling a bit. “I can go home tomorrow while dad is at work, talk to my mom and figure things out.“

He said two weeks, Sebastian can't find me in two weeks, I can be happy with this boy for two simple weeks...

“In fact, just stay here, I don’t think you should go back if this is what he has done to you.” I looked at his bruising cheek.

“That works for me.” He said smiling wide again. “Thank you Kurt.”

“Let me get you a pillow and some blanket,” I mumbled unable to look at him any longer.
