"Because family is everything to Sebastian, he was one of 40 people changed by an Original Vampire in his village and his family protected him from the villagers who didn’t like the creature of the night, and he ended up being the only one to live. So he kept track his family linage, and no matter what he protected them. He told me they was his most prized possessions, I betrayed his trust by going to his home and killing anyone who was related to him." I said, it made Blaine flinch but he kept his composure.
"But what are the odds he actually comes to Westerville Ohio?" Blaine asked. "I mean I won't get hurt if he can't find you."
I thought it was extremely strange on how well he was taking this. "Well chandler found me. But he is best friends with the witch's of Salem, he actually saved some from being burned and their descents have since helped him out with things." I explained.
"Is Sebastian friends with witch's?" Blaine asked, I shook my head no. "Then I think you," he paused, "We, are just fine."
"For now," I said. "So you are okay with all of this?"
"No," he said looking at the floor. "I'm okay with the fact that the one guy I like that actually likes me back is a... vampire," he looked up at me. "I just need time to become okay with all of it, Kurt."
"I understand." I said softly.
"Are you going to go meet Chandler?" Blaine asked looking at the clock on the wall.
"No," I said. "Why would I want to do that?"
"But its your birthday and you can get a sun ring." Blaine said.
I raised my eyebrow questioning how serious he was. "Would you like to come with me?" I asked.
"Yes," There it was his smile that proved to me everything was fine again. "I'll go get my shoes." he kissed my cheek and disappeared to the guest bedroom.
Chandler text me to meet him at a bar downtown, when Blaine and I got there he already had a booth and drinks ordered. he greeted us exuberantly. apologizing to Blaine about this morning, Blaine didn’t say much, he just took the inside seat and took my hand under the table as I sat.
"I don’t want a party chandler," I said before he could even start.
"Just a small tiny party," he begged. I shook my head. "Kurt, you loved parties, my parties especially."
"Its not going to happen chandler." I said.
"How old are you turning?" Blaine asked me quietly.
"450," I told him.
"Holy shit." he covered his mouth. I smiled and he apologized grabbing his diet coke.
"Fine, no birthday party, but there is a party and both of you are invited. It will fall on your birthday." chandler compromised.
"Okay, I think about it, but no one can know I'm here, in fact, throw the party in Ann Arbor or Lima," I said.
"Done." chandler clapped in excitement. "oh, pick a ring." chandler emptied his pocket revealing 3 rings.
I looked at the rings each old and unique. One had blue tiger eye gemstone with copper tinted metal. The second one was a family crest that I didn’t quite want to know where Chandler got it from. The last one had a different gemstone that I had never seen before. Yet I knew the way the emerald and amber mixed I had seen it before.
"That one is really pretty," Blaine said looking at it. I looked at him and smiled, the gemstone looked just like the colors in his eyes.
I tried it on and both Blaine and Chandler nodded there head in agreement. "This one it is." Chandler smiled taking the three rings back.
"Will Blaine need one?" Chandler asked raising an eyebrow.
"None," I said quickly. Chandler shook his head and laughed.
"Nice to meet you Blaine, see you next week." he shook Blaine hand, "I'll text you the details Kurt."
Chandler left and Blaine looked at me, "Are we going home or not?"
"How about not," I smiled, "We can go see a movie."
"Like a date?" Blaine asked a smile teasing his lips.
"Sure, like a date."
