Author's Notes: Sorry. Life and shit... need I say more?
Blaine opened his eyes slowly, unsure what to expect. He was shocked when he saw he was in a big white room. He then heard the beeps from a heart monitor and knew he was in the hospital...but how?
The car accident wasn't making sense in his head. He remembered something running onto the road but did he roll over?
No, he hit a tree.
But the car exploded.
No, it had some major damage to the right side but overall repairable.
Was Cooper alive?
He didn't have a scratch on him.
Blaine had a cut on his eye brow and a sprained wrist. He didn't die.
He did die.
He was dead.
He was alive.
"You're awake." It was the boy from the road.
He was dead... But looked alive.
His eyes were like the ocean against his soft pale skin and lightly styled hair. He was in a hospital gown but didn't have a scratch on him.
"What happened?" Blaine asked his throat raw and hoarse like he was yelling and screaming all day.
"I was on my way home, and you and your brother were speeding down the road. You almost hit me, but your brother slowed down and turned in time to miss me. While turning, he hit a tree on your side. You hit your head on the windshield really hard and you have been in a coma since," he said. "I'm really sorry. I feel like it's all my fault."
"Don't feel bad, Cooper shouldn't have been speeding. I'm just glad you are okay." Blaine said.
The boy smiled, "We are all okay, it's a miracle."
"Blaine? Who are you talking too?" Blaine's mother was at the door starring at Blaine.
"I better go." The boy hurried out the door.
Blaine's mother entered while sending a text to Cooper and Blaine's father. "I'm so glad you're finally awake. It was only a week so you haven't even gotten stiff yet. We can have you out of here and home by tomorrow morning." She said.
"I thought I died." Blaine said looking at his unharmed body.
"I'm so glad you didn't. I can't believe Cooper hit a deer driving so fast. I'm glad it didn't cause the car to roll." She said sitting next to Blaine taking his hand.
"Deer? I thought we hit a boy in the road," Blaine said. "And the car did flip over. I'm dead, it exploded. We're all dead."
"Okay you need to relax Blaine. I'm going to call a nurse." She said. Cooper and Blaine's dad walked into the room.
Cooper wrapped his arms around Blaine, "I'm so sorry, I should have listened to you. That deer came out of nowhere and you called it. I feel like the worse big brother ever. I could have killed you. Or both of us."
"You didn't hit a deer did you? I thought we hit a tree," Blaine said confused.
"It was a deer, Blaine." Blaine's father said. "The car is ruined."
"So it was a deer?" Blaine shook his head, "not a boy?"
"You are so high right now little brother." Cooper shook his head and laughed. Cooper leaned over and kissed the top of Blaine's head. "Get some rest you will be home soon." Cooper walked out of the room and Blaine felt the color leave with him.
His mother was holding herself upright while crying and his father was talking to a doctor Blaine didn't even see come in. There was a nurse at his side, her soft black hair and heart shaped face looked down at Blaine. "I'm so sorry," Blaine didn't understand but his eyelids were drooping as he was overcome with sleep.
Blaine woke up in his bed. His mother was sitting in the recliner holding onto a picture of Cooper and Blaine while she cried. Blaine wasn't thinking hard enough to do or say anything but he was sad that she was crying. He began to cry as well only he didn't know why he was crying.
He closed his eyes and opened them again, his radio blaring Fall Out Boy. Cooper knocked on his door. "Rise and shine baby brother. Are you ready to graduate?"
Graduate? It's early April.
"Yeah okay, I'm up." Blaine said. He turned the radio down and got out of bed seeing a scar on his arm that he didn't remember.
"Blaine sweetheart," His mother called, "I have your suit ready. Can I come in?"
"Yeah!" Blaine called looking at the door.
"You have grown so much. I just wish your brother was here to see you." She sniffles, "I got his tie for you, I thought you'd like that a lot." She set the cloths down at the end of his bed.
"Wait Cooper isn't coming?" Blaine asked.
"Please, don't start with that Blaine not today," she said sighing. "Were going out for breakfast."
Blaine didn't know what she meant but as she left he began to change into his Dalton uniform. Coopers tie was old, solid red, Blaine didn't understand why he had to wear it so Blaine took it off and put his own on.
He went down stairs and saw everyone dressed nicely and Cooper playing on his phone.
"You look nice Blaine. Let's go." Blaine's father said.
They walked out to the Mercedes; Blaine looked at Cooper. "You're riding with us?" Blaine asked.
"Well mom won't let me drive anymore..." Cooper laughed, "Besides I want to ride with you."
"That's fine, so I really don't remember the end of this year." Blaine sighed.
"Yeah my senior year was a blur too, but for other reasons." Cooper laughed.
"No really Cooper, I don't remember anything." Blaine said.
"You're top 10 of your class, you just broke up with Sebastian three nights ago, captain of the Warblers. You guys are singing We Are Young for your class song." Cooper looked at Blaine's blank face concerned. "You don't remember any of this?"
"No, I mean, I know the song but I don't remember rehearsal and I don't remember even asking Sebastian out." Blaine replied.
"Blaine, please stop. It really bother me when you talk to yourself," Blaine mother asked.
Blaine looked at Cooper then back to her. "I'm not talking to myself, I'm talking with Cooper." Blaine said.
"Damn it Blaine. Your mother told you to stop." His father hissed pulling into IHOP.
"I don't understand he's right here." Blaine said.
"Blaine, don't stress, it's just me. They are mad me. They pretend I don't exist." Cooper said.
"That's rude..." Blaine said looking at his parents.
"Yeah it is, but that's the price I get for almost killing you."
Blaine blinked and he was alone in the backseat. He wasn't wearing his Dalton uniform, and he wasn't going to IHOP.

Wayward Mental Institution, the cold gray letters introduced as they pulled up to the gray building. "What's going on?" Blaine asked.
"I can't.... we can't take this anymore Blaine. You're sick. It's time for you to get better," Blaine's mother said. Two orderly walked out side with a wheelchair and a doctor stood between them. "I'm sorry," She said.
