"I'm leaving Ohio coop." Blaine said turning around to Rachel and I waving us over. "This is my boyfriend, Kurt and best friend, Rachel." Blaine said taking my hand.
"Boyfriend? Since when?" Cooper asked. Blaine sighed and
"Four months ago today." Blaine said gaining my nod of assurance.
"How sweet," Lexi said, "Lydia never told me you were gay."
"She doesn't support me, I live with Kurt." Blaine said.
"I missed a lot didn't I..." cooper said, "aren't you a senior now?"
"No, I dropped out. I'm moving to Manchester UK next week." Blaine explained.
Cooper wiped his face and sighed. "What are you doing after this, we have to talk?" He said.
"I was going to go home," Blaine said looking towards the slowly setting sun in deep thought
"Lets go somewhere for lunch, I take it your not coming to the reception?" Cooper said.
"I can be in a crowded area," Blaine simply said.
"We don't have to go somewhere busy," Cooper said.
"You can come over," I interjected, "I don't mind."
"Are you sure?" Blaine looked up at me.
"I will be right there, I wont let anything happen." I said to only him he didn't look convinced but he accepted it.
"It looks like were moving," Lexi pointed to the sleek mahogany wood box being carried towards the grave. We started walking and Rachel took my hand to ask, "can I peak into coopers mind?"
I replied yes and she let go of my hand to talk to cooper. "Are you going to be okay?" I asked Blaine putting my hand around his waist.
"I think so. Ask me in an hour." He said as we arrived with the rest of the guest. Blaine's name was being murmured around the group. "I might have spoke to soon," he said.
"Blaine Cooper come up to stand with the family." A man said.
"No I'm fine here," they said at the same time.
"Now boys that's your father." The man said in a stern voice.
"I'm disowned," Blaine said waiting for a response but the man had nothing.
"I'm just not going up there," Cooper said distracted by Blaine's comment. A woman started singing amazing grace and more people started crying. Blaine looked bored, he started to tap his foot impatiently.
"I don't even know half of these people." Blaine murmured to me, "I'm sure they didn't know him either."
I pulled him in closer and whispered, "if you ask me, he wasn't worth knowing." Blaine smiled at me, and relaxed into my hold resting his head on my shoulder.
The woman finished and the crowd started to disperse giving Blaine and I judgmental looks. Cooper led the way back towards the car with Rachel still on his arm.
"I'm ready to go home," Blaine said turning around to look at Cooper. "Bye Coop."
"No Blaine, please don’t go," Cooper protest, "I'm not ready to say goodbye to you. Tomorrow is my last night."
"Then I'll see you tomorrow coop, but I really just want to leave. Everyone keeps looking at us and whispering about me." Blaine explained.
"Screw them." Cooper replied in a bold voice. "Stop caring about what other people think of you Blaine."
"I wish I could." Blaine mumbled. Cooper gave Blaine a hug but Blaine jerked away from him. I placed my hand on his rigid back.
"Your in control," I whispered so only he would hear.
"Blaine?" Cooper question as Blaine closed his eyes.
"It was nice to meet you cooper." I said shaking his hand.
"You too Kurt. Thank you for saving my brother." He said.
"I'll see you tomorrow. I live in the village apartments across from Lima Bean. Apartment 309."
"I'll come around lunch." Cooper said.
"Lets go before my mom sees me," Blaine said but it was too late, she and Joe were already making their way over flanked by others.
"Blaine honey," Lydia cooed pulling him into a hug, "I thought you already left." She looked up at me and tried a smile but turned back to Blaine. "I have both my boys with me."
"I'm not staying mom." Blaine said slipping out of her hold.
"Blaine, I think we all need to talk." Lydia started but Blaine cut her off.
"There's nothing to talk about. I'm done with this life, I'm leaving, you got your goodbye don't ask for more."
"Don't you dare talk to your mother like that." Joe said interfering, "where have you been?"
Blaine shook his head and rolled his eyes, "what do you care, I'm sure you thought the next funeral you'd attend was mine." Lydia let out a noise as Joe shifted uncomfortable.
"Blaine," Rachel hissed in a warning tone. We had the attention of the guest now as Joe spoke, "have some respect. You dropped out of Dalton and lost your damn mind."
"You know what, Shove it Joe." Blaine said shocking Rachel and me.
"Both of you need to stop." Lydia said. "Your acting like animals lets go to the house and talk please."
"We're leaving," I said.
"No Kurt they want to talk. She has something worth saying. Her whole marriage she was ignored lets hear her out." Blaine said growing irritated.
"We are defiantly leaving, Blaine." Rachel said letting go of cooper.
"Blaine don't be rude, I know you're upset but its all over now." Lydia said.
"Its over for you!"
"Excuse me."
"I shouldn't have come, George doesn't deserve my respect and I don't need to say bye to any of you." Blaine shouted.
"Blaine. What is going on with you?" Lydia said crying. "You are not the boy I raised."
"You never raised me!" Blaine yelled at her. "Cooper did, Gloria our fucking maid taught me more than you." Blaine was going to say more but he cover his mouth and walked away. I chased after him stopping him by his arm.
"Blaine." I said he looked at me his fangs extended.
"I just want to walk home." He said before taking a hard breath and pointing, "they are so fucking stupid."
"I know I'm sorry. Lets just go." I said pulling him along, as everyone was crying and shouting.
