"What are you thinking about love?" I asked.
"Goodbyes," Blaine said. He moved to look up at me, "George’s funeral is today, everyone will be there."
"Do you want to go?" I asked.
"No, but I hate not saying bye to some other people. I hurt Quinn with my bye, and I guess moms goodbye was nice, but everyone else. What do they get?"
"Rumors, that's how goodbyes are said in the vampire world. We say see you soon and 60 years later we meet up again." I explained.
"I won’t see them later Kurt. I hated it when you left without goodbye, and I hated it when cooper left without goodbye. I don't want to do that."
"I'll take you, and if you change your mind say the words and we'll leave." I said running my hand threw his hair.
"Okay, let’s take Rachel also." Blaine said, "in case I lose control..."
"You won't Blaine, you are doing a lot better than before, it been a few months, it can only get easier." I assured him kissing his forehead. I wasn't entirely lying, he was still violent and biting but his blood bag drinks were cleaner and he could watch blood for a minute before losing control. He wasn't perfect but he was gaining progress.
"Can I have a drink?" He asked.
"Of course, you don't have to ask," I said but he shook his head.
"I mean like alcohol, I want one of those drinks." He said.
I sighed, "I'm sure Rachel has a stash somewhere, do you want it before the funeral?"
"Yeah, Rachel said it’s an appetite craver and even though I'm not hungry it’s good to be double protected."
"I understand. Let’s find some; I might have to go buy it." I said as we both sat up. "But first pants," I mumbled mostly to myself but Blaine laughed and tossed me jeans from the drawer.
Rachel was watching a movie on her computer when I came in, "hey do you have any alcohol?"
"Excuse me?" She pressed pause, "You want alcohol?" She didn’t quite believe me.
"Not for me, Blaine wants some before we go to the funeral."
"Well I'll be damned," she stood up and pulled a bottle of vodka from under her bed. "Here and now that you are drinking again, bloody Mary’s tomorrow night?"
"I'm not, Blaine is, I don't recommend bloody Mary's with him for another decade at the very lease." I said taking the liquor.
"I'm tired of drinking alone," she frowned, I handed her back the vodka.
"Go drink with Blaine." I smirked, "before the funeral, you are going to be one of those guest."
She shook her head and headed to the kitchen calling Blaine's name. I took a seat at the dinning table as Blaine entered and took a seat at the bar. "I only have vodka which is tasteless for the most part," she said as she was grabbing cups from the cabinet. She turned around and sat the glasses down filling them with a shot of vodka.
Blaine looked at it for a moment contemplating the drink. He took a deep breath and took the shot hissing as it went down. "That's disgusting." he commented when it was down.
Rachel took her shot and shrugged, "tastes better with gummy bears." Blaine gave her a look that made me stiffen a giggle.
"Can I have another one?" He asked, Rachel poured another in hers as well.
"Wait, I'll put a cherry it," she smiled pulling the artificial cherries out and dropping two in Blaine's drink pouring cherry juice with it. She smiled at him as he took this drink. "Well?"
"It tastes worst..." he burped, "I don't think it works for me."
"Maybe its just vodka, I'll get whiskey tequila and rum, we'll find something." Rachel said taking her shot and taking both cups setting them in the sink.
"No whiskey. Or beer." Blaine said standing up. He held his hand out and i took it with a soft caring smile as he led the way to the bedroom. We sat at the edge of the bed holding hands.
He took a soft breath, "I was seven when my grandma died its was my first funeral and I haven't been to one since. My mom told me there was no heaven or hell, but a place where we relive our happiest memories. I asked her what happened to the sad people, she replied there was a special room for them where they met friends and started new memories. There was also a door to pause our memories so we can catch up with friends and family that had passed as well. I told her it sounded much better then earth she corrected me and said it works the best if you have a strong life like grandma did." He paused for a moment, "my dad started sending me to church and hell was all they ever talked about. Id like to believe my moms theory rather then some shouting man behind the pulpit."
"You should have been around for the great awaking, both," I said not trying to be funny but Blaine laughed.
"Do you know anyone around from the crusades?" He asked.
"No, I believe Kellie's maker was changed in 1200s but I don't know him personally. We'll have to meet some one from then." I said.
"I like history." He looked up at me, "maybe that's why I like you."
"Oh you like me," I said sarcastically he snickered at me and pressed a kiss onto my cheek
"I guess I love you," he said moving to kiss my neck. "I'm better at showing then telling." He whispered haughtily in my ear licking my ear making me groan.
"We don't have time for that Blaine," I said as his tongue traced down my neck giving me chills.
"We should make some time. Just a few minutes."
"If were late its your fault." I said pulling his face up to me to give him a hungry kiss.
