He couldn't stand it, since he was a kid he listened to his mother get hurt, he hated the sound of her cry. He hated the pop sound that occurred when she was hit. Most of all he hated the loud splat as she fell to the tile. She'd cry and beg George to stop but face it; he'd stop when he was tired not when she was upset.
"Please George stop I swear nothing happened." Lydia begged before Blaine heard the pop.
Blaine didn't know where the sudden adrenaline rush came from but he jumped up and ran down the hall and shouted, "leave her alone."
George looked over at him and smirked, "are you talking to me boy?"
"Go to your room Blaine." Lydia sobbed.
"Leave her alone, she has been hurt enough by you." Blaine said staring at his mothers bloody lip.
"You do not tell me what to do you little Shit!" He shouted to Blaine.
"Hit me! Beat me! I don't care just leave her alone." Blaine said as his father approached him. Blaine was ready for the backhand. It was the usual, Blaine didn't even cry through his cheek throbbed fiery pain.
"Look at you, got some hair on your peaches and you think you're fucking superman."
"Leave him alone, George." Lydia begged.
"No, he wants it," George pushed Blaine making him stumble to the floor. "Now stand up. Tough guy." Blaine stood up and George slapped him much harder this time he heard the pop splat combo with his own body. Blaine took a moment to get up, but when he did George laughed and slapped him down again. Blaine wiped his tears away feeling the welts on his face. While was down George stared at him. "Fuck Blaine, give up. I'll let you walk away right now. But, if you get up I'll leave your mother alone." Blaine looked up unsure if George was telling the truth.
"Swear you will leave her alone?" He stammered his vision blurring.
"I swear." George said finding his sons focus and determination to stand up humorous. As Blaine stood to center George punched him in the jaw causing Blaine to hit the floor and pass out.
When he woke up Blaine saw his mothers soft blue eyes wiping his face with a cold rag. "What were you thinking Blaine?" She asked him softly. He started crying and shook his head. She cooed him wiping his face with the gentlest touch.
"I don't want you to hurt anymore, and I defiantly don't want you to die." Blaine sobbed. Lydia started crying also.
"Blaine I'm not going to die," she assured him. Blaine only cried more so Lydia pulled him into her chest rubbing his back.
"Momma lets leave. I don't want to stay here anymore." Blaine cried.
"We can't. Blaine sorry but I can't leave." Lydia said.
"Then I will protect you mom. Forever and ever." Blaine looked up at her. "I'm not letting you get hurt ever again."
