"Is being a ripper bad?" Blaine asked shyly, I could tell he was growing more intimidated by Kellie as she spoke.
"Lets put it like this, there are good things to being a vampire and their are the bad things. I'm sorry Blaine but this feeling you have, it never stops, never goes away, you'll try to suppress it, but nothing ever works."
Blaine slipped his hand into mine as he looked at the throatless civilians, I knew he was upset by the wrinkle above his brow. "How do you know Kellie, this was his first time, it could just be a newbie bite." I said.
"I've been around a long time, I know thousands of vampires and like vamps with abilities; rippers are rare. I'm sure chandler knows one, bobby might too if you ever talk to him. I understand if you don't want to believe me. But just wait, the first rip is always the messiest." She glanced at the bodies once more before looking at me, "I just came to tell you I'm going back to Italy, thought we could have one last drink before I go but you have your hands full. Don't be a stranger." She gave me a hug and pressed a kiss to my cheek.
"Bye Blaine, good luck. I hope I'm wrong, you are far to nice and innocent to be a ripper." She gave him an apologetic smile before leaving.
"Come on lets go home." I said to Blaine.
"What about them?" He asked in a small voice.
"I'll come clean up while you sleep." I shrugged debating whether to burn them or bury them. Blaine still looked distraught so I pulled his face to look at me. "Don't worry about what Kellie said, she is probably wrong, no she is wrong there is nothing wrong with you."
He nodded his head okay and I pulled him in for a soft kiss.
We ran straight home and Rachel was tucked away in her room. I sent Blaine to take a bath before entering her space. She was sitting on her bed sending flirty text messages.
"How was it?" She asked as I sat on her computer chair.
"You were right he was very messy. But we bumped into Kellie out there. What do you know about a ripper?" I asked.
"They rip peoples body's apart when they feed, I've never met one though. I heard they are mean and violent and can't stop once they've started." Rachel shrugged and looked at me, "why do you ask?"
"I think you made one..." I said looking at the objects at her desk.
"You mean Blaine is a ripper? But how that's impossible." Rachel sat up giving me her full attention.
"Kellie called it and I've never seen one. I could fact check and ask chandler or just wait till his first rip what ever that is."
Rachel stared at me with wide eyes, "their first rip involve eating and biting until the humans head falls off."
I felt very uneasy about the whole thing. I had Blaine forever now but at what cost. "I'm going to go talk to him." I mumbled leaving her room and hearing Sara Haze radio playing in my bathroom. I striped my clothes in my room and joined him in the tub. I sat behind and wrapped my arms around him.
He leaned back resting his neck on my shoulder. "This is nice." He commented as the song changed to Can't Help Falling In Love by, Ingrid Michaelson Blaine song softly to the music fumbling with a few lyrics.
"I heard you and Rachel..." Blaine said. I sighed. I forgot she and I have to watch our self now that he upgraded his hearing.
"Don't worry about it, Rachel was just talking about crazy vamps she knew. It doesn't mean anything." I said.
He turned around to look at me, "please Kurt. Don't lie to me, that's what I am isn't it. A ripper. I'll start snapping heads off next." He grew distressed and upset as he spoke. I lifted my hands out of the water held him still.
"I don't care, I never have, I never will human life meant nothing to me until I met you and now that you've been made vampire it means nothing once more. I don't care." His eyes welted with tears.
"I'm just scared." He muttered in a low voice. I took hand and gave him a kiss, "its going to be okay Blaine. I promise."
