Kurt hummed quietly to himself as he walked the last block to Blaine’s house. At the school that day Blaine had asked him to come over and Kurt had obliged with a “Sure, What’s your address?” and was surprised to see that they only lived three blocks away. Kurt had left shortly after school before his dad got home so he wouldn’t worry him.

Kurt kicked at the rocks on the pavement, glad it was a nice day. There were footsteps behind him which he hadn’t remembered hearing before. Strange. Probably not paying enough attention is all Kurt could finally see the left turn at the end of the street when the steps behind him quickened in pace. Kurt stood up straighter and moved to the left side of the concrete, trying to stay out of the way of the jogger. The steps grew closer and closer, Kurt anxiously waiting for the person to pass so he could walk in silence again. C’mon, pass already

Kurt brushed his few loose bangs back from his face as the steps reached closer behind him. Kurt took a few more steps when he heard a car turn onto the road, most definitely speeding. Kurt turned towards the car, but before he could take a good look, he was shoved to the ground, sprawling forward and hitting first with his knee then his palms. Kurt let out a startled gasp and stayed down. His palms were stinging with scratches and his knee hurt SO bad! Before he could take full stock of his injuries, rough hands grabbed his shoulder and side pulling him to his feet. He was pulled flushed against the attacker, his back to their stomach, and a hand clamped over his mouth. He tried to scream, thrashing his legs and arms. He bit his captors hand as he kicked their shin, and was let go.

He tried to run, and took off down the sidewalk. He started to scream “Help! I’m being attacked, anybody, Blaine!” He was turning into the street when the person tackled him, pressing his face into the concrete. Kurt hissed in pain, and tried to escape, but his arms were pinned under him and his legs couldn’t reach anything. “HELP! SOMEONE, BLAI-!” Kurt started screaming. Shit! What do I do? Blaine, I need Blaine! His captor grabbed him up and started half dragging, half pulling him towards the street, where the speeding van was now parked. Kurt turned to face his attacker, trying to hit the others face, and was met with a face wearing a black ski mask. Kurt turned back around and attempted to break free of the hold around his waist. “Stop, please! I was just walking to Blaine’s house! Please, I was…Blaine’s house, just…BLAINE!” Were the last words Kurt screamed, arms flung before him towards the direction of the safety of Blaine’s house before being thrown into the back seat of the van.

Before the door slammed shut Kurt lunged for it, but was held back by someone who was already in the back seat. Kurt struggled and screamed again, not even aware the only word he was screaming was “Blaine” He ripped himself from the person and pushed the door back open. Thank god He jumped out of the car screaming “Blaine! Help!” He had only made it halfway across when the person grabbed him around the waste and put a hand to his mouth. Why me? Why me? Kurt started quietly crying, silent tears streaming down his face as he struggled. Kurt pushed back against them, surprising them with his strategy. Kurt fell to the ground, scuffing his shoes in his haste to stand up. He made it to his feet but was immediately grabbed by the back of his shirt and he fell back, right into the pursuers clutches. A hand grabbed his face, strangling the “Blaine” that had been making it’s way up his throat. The hand released his mouth and Kurt let out one more yelled “Blaine” Before the hand was replaced with a cloth smelling strongly of a putrid alcohol. Chloroform! Don’t breathe it! Kurt tried to hold his breathe, but was out of air supply within a minute, finally pulling in a long stuttering breathe. Kurt stopped his weak struggles and lay limp in the captor’s arms. He was dragged into the van and thrown onto the backseat Blaine….
----------------------------------------------------------

Blaine thought he heard screaming. Weird. He looked out his window but saw nothing so assumed it was just some kids playing, but....there it was again And this was no child. This was an actual scream, a desperate sound. Blaine rushed outside looking around, but finding no source for the sound. Whaa…? And there it was again. It sounded like someone was screaming something over and over. Was that… it sounded like they were saying Blaine? Blaine took off down the sidewalk, confusion and panic etched on his face. Kurt was supposed to be coming over and he didn’t want him to encounter this. There it was again, repeating the same word, “Blaine” Blaine was definitely worried now. He quickened his pace, racing towards the end of the street. There was one last cut off screech and then silence. Blaine slowed down, listening hard and hearing nothing. Soon after, a van drove down the street, a friendly looking women driving. Maybe it was nothing, she would have seen something Blaine turned around and walked slowly to his house.

When he reached the door, he opted to wait in the doorway for Kurt because he really should have been there already. After five minutes more of waiting, Blaine became anxious. After ten, he was outside on the porch waiting. After twenty, he was sweating with his worry. After thirty and having no missed calls or texts, Blaine was having a panic attack.

He got out his cell and called Kurt’s house. “Hummel Residence” A gruff voice answered. “Uhm, Mister Hummel? Is Kurt home?” Blaine asked, hoping he didn’t sound as worried as he was. It was probably nothing. He was probably on his way, just stuck in traffic. Blaine wandered back to the window as Burt replied. “No, he left me a note saying he would be at your place. He isn’t there?” Burt asked.

“Uh, I guess he’s just on his way. It’s fine. Just had to check if he had left yet.” Blaine said rushed. “I home thirty minutes ago, kid. If he ain’t there then there is a problem. You sound worried, is there something you’re not telling me?” Burt asked with suspicion clear in his voice.

“No, not at all. I’ll just wait for when he gets here. Thank you Burt, Bye.” Blaine said before he could let all the panic seep into his voice. His suspicions were getting worse and worse by the minute.

There was someone desperately screaming. Not just screaming, screaming his name. Blaine. And the voice was definitely not deep. What Blaine mistook for a woman could easily have been Kurt. Kurt had one of the most beautiful voices he had ever heard, with an incredible range. What if….What if it was KURT? Blaine started breathing heavily.

When he was little he suffered from anxiety attacks. Right now, he felt one coming on. Kurt could be hurt. Terribly Hurt. His Kurt. Beautiful, porcelain skinned, delicate Kurt. Hurt, or broken, or lost, or dying. Blaine fell to his knees hyperventilating. It couldn’t be Kurt. If it was Kurt, he would lose his whole world. He mind was spinning and he slowly melted to the ground, on his hands and knees. His thoughts were a jumble of “no’s” and “Kurt’s” and “hurt” and he couldn’t take it anymore. He fell flat to the ground shuddering, and then everything was black.
