The Drive was mostly quiet, the radio on low and Blaine looking out of the window. But the silence was calm and comfortable, and probably what Blaine needed right now.
They pulled up outside Kurt's house and he killed the engine, opening the door. Blaine followed suit. Blaine walked around the side of the car, quickly lacing his fingers with Kurt when they met and walked towards the door together, Kurt quickly unlocking it and tugging Blaine inside.
He called out a greeting, waiting for a moment and listening to a reply that never came. He turned to Blaine and smiled softly, ""No one to worry about, just me and you"
Kurt toed of his shoes and Blaine politely copied. He led the smaller boy down to the basement where his room was situated. Blaine's eyes widened. The interior was simple, yet effective. Not what Blaine was expecting. Most things were white; the walls, desks, wardrobes and bed. But hints of colour had been cleverly distributed around the room, warm colours such as deep reds.
Blaine stood awkwardly in the centre of the room while Kurt set down his bag, until the taller boy turned around and saw the uncomfortable look in those deep honey eyes.
Kurt walked forward and threw himself down on the bed, landing elegantly back against the cushions. before he gestured his hands to Blaine, "Come lie with me."
Blaine walked over, gently lying down next to Kurt, sides brushing.
Kurt smiled lightly, rolling over onto his side so that he could see Blaine who mirrored his motion.
Kurt chewed his lip in thought. "Why does it feel like I've known you for ever, when I barely know you at all?" He mused.
Blaine laughed and blushed, "I feel the same about you."
"I like you, probably more than I should." Kurt admitted. "But, you're hiding something from me Blaine. Things are moving so fast and I just
...I need you to be honest with me. Let me know the real you?" Kurt tried.
"A-And what if you can't handle the real me?" Blaine mumbled. Looking up at Kurt.
Kurt smiled softly and let the back of his palm smooth lightly over the tan cheek, "Not possible." Blaine sat up a little. "Kurt, you're right, there is something I'm not telling you. B-But I just... this thing, it's big." He tugged on his hair. Something Kurt noticed was a frequent occurrence with the smaller boy.
"Hey," Kurt sat up a bit too and took Blaine's hand, "It's okay," he promised.
Blaine let out a shaky breath. "Two years ago I was diagnosed with p-p..."
Kurt held his breath and waited, his head swirling with a million and one different disorders Blaine might possibly have, however he wasn't expecting the one that eventually left Blaine's pink lips. He found Kurt's eyes.
"Post-traumatic stress disorder"
Kurt waited patiently, squeezing Blaine's hand softly in comfort and he nodded, "Okay."
Blaine's eyebrows shot up, "Th-That's it? Okay?"
"Well...No," Kurt shook his head, "We'll need to talk more, but...thank you for trusting me enough to tell me."
Blaine just nodded. His heart still beating faster than normal. "Can I use your bathroom, please?"
"Of course Sweetie, just hurry back, I want to cuddle if that's okay with you?" Kurt smiled softly, pointing at the door that leads to his bathroom.
Blaine got up quickly, shutting the bathroom door behind him. Once inside he lent over the sink, breathing heavy, he peered at his reflection in the mirror. He ran the cold tap and splashed some water in his face, realizing his hands were shaking, he gripped the edges of the sink hard to steady himself.
He couldn't believe he'd told someone. Not even Wes or David knew. Sure they knew about his past. They were his best friends. But they hadn't a clue about the severity of it. Blaine took a deep breath and closed his eyes. Kurt hadn't pushed him away, he'd just...accepted it, and he didn't even seem that worried. Did he know what he was getting himself into? The world 'Okay' floated around his head like an annoying fly. He sighed. Drying his face and unlocking the door. Kurt was still lay on his bed, smiling up at Blaine.
"You alright?" He asked softly.
Blaine nodded, walking forward and stopping just before Kurt's bed.
Kurt gave him a weak smile and pushed back the duvet.
"Come on, get in"
Blaine flushes slightly red before he lets out a nervous laugh, slipping into the offered space and smiling when Kurt wraps the comforter around him and pulls him close.
"Kurt?" Blaine whispered after several minutes.
"Hmm?"
"Don't you go to high school?" He asked. Curiously, looking around the room.
"Oh-No, no I graduated," Kurt shook his head with a slightly grim expression,
"Failed to get into the collage I wanted so I'm just kind of waiting around until I can apply again."
"Really? How old are you?" Blaine asked, tracing patterns on top of the comforter.
"Nineteen, I only graduated last year," Kurt slipped an arm around Blaine's waist and squeezed gently, "You bagged yourself an older man," he teased.
Blaine giggled, leaning into Kurt. "What's your favourite movie?"
"Hmm," Kurt smiled, brushing a curl back from Blaine's forehead, "Breakfast at tiffany's maybe....or the notebook."
That film makes me cry every time...Okay, ask me something" Blaine smiled.
Me too," Kurt commented before he hummed, "Hmm, let me see..."
Blaine bit his lip in anticipation.
"Your favourite cake?" Kurt finally asked. "And choose wisely, because cake compatibility is very important. We can't buy two different cakes for each of our birthdays because the other person doesn't like the birthday boy's frosting," Kurt teased lightly. Blaine Laughed loudly, genuinely this time. "Um...Ok, wow. It's gotta be red velvet cake"
Kurt hummed, "Yummy! You've past that test with flying colours." Blaine grinned.
"Any more of these tests I should know about?"
Hmm, let's see," Kurt rested his head on top of Blaine, "Music taste of course, I can't be arguing over radio stations all the time."
"Oh, and I would say dress sense, but I already know that you've passed on that too," Kurt added.
Blaine smiled. Well, as you know I love music. But Katy Perry is my queen. My music rage is...weird. I guess. Like I can go from Roxy music to Ga Ga, to the wicked soundtrack" He said, eyes sparkling again.
"Oh my God, Gag is my queen. You know my glee club did few of her songs, we got to create our own outfits to express ourselves," Kurt revealed.
"And does one own any pictures of said outfit?" Blaine teased. Resting his hand on Kurt's hip.
"One sec," Kurt said, reaching over Blaine and smiling down at the blushing boy as he grabbed his phone from the nightstand on the shorter boys side of the bed.
Blaine smiled, trying to ignore how suddenly close they were.
Kurt came back with his phone, tapping away, before he turned it around to show Blaine the image.
Blaine's eyes widened "how the fuck did you walk in those?! " he asked, impressed.
Kurt laughed, "I may have tripped once or twice..." He admitted.
"aw poor ickle kurtis"
Kurt's jaw dropped slightly, "Hey, shut up you!" He giggled, pulling Blaine closer to him and pressing a light kiss to his nose
Blaine smiled, closing his eyes. "I'm scared Kurt" He whispered.
Kurt frowned and pulled him closer, "Of what Honey?"
"giving the thing you found out, are you sure you want to do this?" He asked softly.
"More than anything in the world," Kurt replied confidently.
"Good" Blaine's phone buzzed. He reached over and sighed. Reading the text from his father.
'gone away on business with your mother, back in three days. Don't disturb us'
"I guess I have no curfew today"
"Really?" Kurt asked, his eyes lighting up
"yeah, my parents are going away on business" Blaine couldn't help the look of relief on his eyes.
"Oh...You'll be all on your own?" Kurt frowned
"yeah , i'm used to it" he smiled.
Kurt just frowned more at the news, "Well you can stay here as much as you want. You're always welcome, okay?"
"r-really? What about your parents?"
Kurt shrugged, "they'll be fine with it if they know you'll be on your own otherwise." He raised his hand to push away a stray curl but left it lingering there as their eyes met.
"Kurt, I know that we're moving crazy fast. But can I please kiss you?" Blaine breathed, sounding desperate.
Kurt's eyebrows shot up, "I don't think we're moving crazy fast, I think we're moving at our own pace," he said, cupping Blaine's cheek. "and you don't need to ask before you kiss me you know, Beautiful."
That was all he needed to hear. He leant forward, and kissed Kurt with as much emotion as he could physically muster. Gripping Kurt hard.
Kurt let out a long groan, gripping Blaine back as he pressed back eagerly against the boy's determined lips.
Blaine's breath hitched, overwhelmed. He whimpered running his tongue against Kurts lips.
"G-God," Kurt gasped, Blaine taking the opportunity of his open mouth to let his tongue dance with the paler boys.Blaine moaned desperately. "Kurt"
Kurt whined, his fingers locking in Blaine's hair as he tried to pull him impossibly closer
Blaine bit down on Kurts lip , making the older boy moan. Blaine reached up, tugging off his shirt and starting on Kurts.
Kurt made a noise of disapproval as Blaine's lips left his to removed their shirts, tugging him back down as soon as they were both on the floor. Everything now a sudden rush of want and need.
Blaine began to kiss down Kurts jaw and neck as an excuse to look at his now shirtless form. "wow..."
Kurt blushed, threading his fingers through Blaine's curls and he moved further down stopping when he noticed the bulge in Kurts Jeans. "holy fu- Kurt." He breathed heavily. "should we stop?" He asked, the realization of how things had turned in only a matter of seconds dawning on him.
Kurt gulped, licking his lips, his eyes dark, "I-I-Do, do you want to?"
Blaine bit his lip. "i-is that a trick question? " He groaned. "why did I wear skinny Jeans today, ouch"
"No, just...whatever you're comfortable with," Kurt breathed, chuckling lightly. Blaine rolled onto his back...Popping open the button of his Jeans and sighing in instant relief.
Kurt bit his lip, holding back a smile, "W-Will you stay tonight?"
"i-if you want me too?" He whimpered. "i'm sorry, I can't concentrate with..." He gestured to his pants
Kurt blushed, "R-right, sorry," He bit his lip, "Come here."
Blaine shuffled closer. "yeah?"
Kurt kissed him softly, "What do you propose we do about this distraction?" he teased with a smirk
Blaine shivered. "Kurt...what are you..." Whimpers ."we shouldn't"
"you don't want to?" Kurt asked, "That's okay, by the way."
Blaine pulled on his hair frustrated. "yes of course I want to. You said that we barely know each other and I .. Fuck Kurt please"
"Please what?" Kurt asked, "I said we're moving at our own pace, it's totally up to you."
Blaine paused, "Have you...done this before?"
Kurt blushed. "well.... I am 19."
"Right, right of course, stupid," Blaine muttered, looking away.
"Hey.." Kurt touched Blaine's cheek. "I'm sorry."
"For what?" Blaine mumbled
Kurt Lent his head against Blaine's. "I don't want to pressure you into anything"
Blaine let out a sigh and wrapped his arms around Kurt's neck, "You're not."
Kurt kissed his cheek. "it's been a long time since I've er..."
Blaine raised an eyebrow, "er what?"
Kurt blushed. "had alone time..."
"Wha-...? Oh," Blaine laughed awkwardly, "Right."
Kurt made an odd sound and hid under his duvet
"this is awkward, we're both lay here with hard ons"
Blaine chuckled lightly, "Pointing it out just makes it more awkward," he commented
"shhh, i'm trying to think of naked women"
"Ew," Blaine screwed up his nose "I mean, they're beautiful and everything but....ew."
"I'm gonna use the bathroom" Kurt muttered.
Blaine bit his lip, "I-I'm really sorry."
"Don't be" Kurt smiled.
He kissed Blaine's hair, heading to the bathroom. Leaving Blaine feeling under experienced and like he'd let Kurt down. He lay on his back and closed his eyes, trying to soak up everything that has happened in so little time
it seemed too surreal....
