A light, unsteady rhythm was knocked on Kurt's door Sunday morning.

"Come in." Kurt called. He was feeling much lighter after the pep talk and girl's night he had with Rachel and Mercedes. He still wasn't prepared for what stood before him.

"Hey." Blaine said from the doorway. "Your dad let me in, I hope that's okay."

"Uh, yeah." Kurt stuttered. His mind was again blown from the perfect boy who stood before him. Blaine's hair was a mess of shiny black curls, and this time he wore a pink v-neck with pink pinstriped shorts and hot pink ray bans hanging on his shirt. Kurt always told Blaine how much he loathed those sunglasses, even though he secretly loved them. His scruff had grown even thicker, almost into a full out beard.

"Are you busy? Should I come back another time?" Blaine asked. Kurt had no clue what made him appear even remotely occupied. He had been staring at his ceiling, humming theme songs to shows from the nineties. He was far from busy, but quite baffled.

"Oh, no. No, you're fine." He said. Kurt didn't know what to say next and Blaine didn't offer any explanation to his visit. Blaine just stood in the door, scanning the room with his eyes. "Did you need something?" Kurt asked.

Blaine closed Kurt's door and slowly made towards Kurt. "I was told to come see you. Apparently you're some magic wizard who can fix my memory, or something."

"How?" It was the same question Blaine had asked Wes. How can one person bring back ten years of memory, most of which he wasn't even there for. "Blaine, I've really only known you for about a year."

"Well, some of my memory has come back from when I was younger," this was true. He was now able to remember at least to his first year of Dalton. Of course not completely and as well as he previously did, but to some extent yes. "I just need that one year."

"Okay..." Kurt sighed. "Where do I start?" Blaine shrugged. "Umm, I guess you can look around. We spent a lot of time together in here." Blaine slowly walked over to a shelf, picking up a picture of him and Kurt. They were both in tuxes, with pink carnations on the lapel. Hanging on the photo was the crown which Kurt was wearing in the picture, a staff to match the one in his hand, and one carnation. Minus the crown and staff, Blaine had found the exact same display in the box last night. "Prom last year. I won prom queen as some stupid joke. Karafosky was king." Kurt explained. "You probably don't remember him."

"The name sounds familiar." Blaine offered.

"You don't want to remember him." Kurt said. Blaine just nodded solemnly. He noted that most of Kurt's pictures were also in Blaine's box.

"We watched almost all of those." Kurt explained, as Blaine knelt down to observe a shelf of DVDs. "I also, um, have a playlist of songs we both liked and listened to. Do you want me to play it?" Blaine just nodded, not turning away from the alphabetized movies. The first song to play was Somewhere Only We Know. Kurt explained the meaning of the song to them, how Blaine sang it to him when he transferred back to McKinely.

At the end of the shelf was a white scrapbook. "What is this?" Blaine asked.

"It's a scrapbook of, well, us." He sheepishly explained.

"Can I look at it?" Blaine asked. Kurt nodded. Blaine took the book and sat on Kurt's bed, while Kurt sat in his rolly chair. Opening the book, the first picture was of the two boys in Dalton blazers sitting side by side and grinning. Blaine reached over and grabbed Kurt's hand, pulling him in the chair to the bedside. This was something Blaine had often done, except it usually was followed by a kiss instead if a question."Where were we?"

"Breadstix with Mercedes. She took the picture. Breadstix is an Italian restaurant in the area, strangely popular. But, terrible breadsticks." Kurt chuckled. And that was how they spent the next half hour, flipping through the book and Kurt explaining evey little detail in it. He noted with pride that their hands stayed connected the whole time. Maybe he was bringing Blaine back.

Half way through the book, Blaine stopped and turned to Kurt. He had a nervous, but serious look on his face. He was always kinda cute when he was nervous. "Did we, um, ever ya know.."

"Have sex?" Kurt clarified. Blaine nodded as his cheeks became immensly red. "Yes." Kurt answered simply.

"Here?" Blaine pointed to the bed he was sitting on. Kurt nodded. Blaine uncomfortably got up and relocated him self on the floor. "What about my bed?"

"Our first time." Kurt nodded.

"How many times has it been?" Blaine asked.

"Two or three. It's only been a few weeks." Kurt explained. "Do you wanna go somewhere?"

"I guess." Blaine stuttered.

The two boys walked into the Lima Bean, and up to the counter. Kurt ordered, the same thing they always get, and payed. Once they had gotten their drinks and found a seat, they started talking. Kurt asked what Blaine remembered and how his memory was coming back. Blaine asked a few questions about what his life had become. Blaine took one sip of his drink, then eyed the cup curiously.

"A medium drip. Your favorite." Kurt offered. Blaine nodded, pleased. "Do you recognize the intersection out there?" Blaine leaned in his seat, trying to get a glimpse of what lay past the window.

"No." He replied after seeing what Kurt spoke of.

"That was-" Kurt stopped, unsure if he should tell Blaine this. "That was where you had your accident." Kurt watched Blaine, waiting. When the boy simply nodded, instead of bursting into emotions, Kurt continued. "Have you tried driving yet?"

This was his mistake. Blaine fell apart into a heaving mess. His face became wet with tears and his breathe became shallow and unsteady. Kurt was immediatly up and rushing to Blaine's side. He knelt down in front of the small boy. "Shh, Blaine, it's okay."

"No." He sniffled. "It's all my fault."

"That's not true, sweetie." Kurt reached up and wiped tears from Blaine's cheeks, slightly shocked that Blaine didn't protest.

"Yes it is. If I hadn't been such an idiot, I wouldn't have been in the crash, wouldn't have lost my memory, Cooper and Wes would be here, my parents wouldn't fight, Finn told me you got beat up and it's all because of me. And my car is wrecked." Blaine whined.

"That's okay, my dad is fixing your car. You don't have to worry, he's the best mechanic in Ohio." Kurt reassured him. "And Cooper and Wes left before your crash, your parents always fight and I've been getting my ass kicked since freshman year. None of this is your fault." Kurt said. "Okay?"

"Okay." Blaine mumbled.

Kurt got up from in front of Blaine and extended his hand. "Has anyone told the full story of what happened?" Blaine shook his head, while taking Kurt's hand. The two boys started walking as Kurt told Blaine everything that happened the Friday of his crash, starting from their trip to the mall all the way to Blaine's phone call with his dad. Of course he left out their make out session in the kitchen.

Blaine was confused when they didn't stop at Kurt's car, they kept walking to the end of the sidewalk. Kurt stopped and looked up at the sign. "The intersection of Elm Street and Bellefontaine Avenue." He said. "See those marks on the road?" Kurt said, pointing blue and white arrows in the center of the intersection. Blaine nodded. "The cops use them to mark accidents and skid marks. Those are for you." Blaine gripped Kurt's hand until his knuckles were white. He was glad to finally have something steady to hold him as he suppressed his cries. "It's okay to cry." Kurt whispered as though he read Blaine's mind. "But, don't blame yourself. It was dark and wet, you were crying, and it was a hit and run. No one blames Blaine. We all blame the owner of the white van." Kurt said. Although Blaine was crying, he smiled at Kurt's use of third person, because that was how he felt, like someone else. However, that feeling was starting to fade with time.

"Do I always cry this much?" Blaine asked.

"Only when you have a really good reason to." Kurt responded. They stood there for awhile, letting Blaine get it all out until he was calm.

Silently, Kurt turned and headed to his car, bringing Blaine with him.

As the car pulled into the Dalton parking lot, Blaine turned to Kurt. "I've already seen Dalton." He informed him.

"You might have seen 'Dalton', but you haven't seen our Dalton." Kurt said. He got out of the car and headed towards the big school, followed by Blaine.

Entering the school, Kurt headed straight for the stair case. He walked up a step, then stopped and turned to face Blaine. "This is where we first met." He informed the short boy in front of him. "I was standing right here," he pointed to the step he was on. "And you..move down to the floor." Blaine did as told. "And you were standing right there."

"How did it happen?" Blaine asked.

"Close your eyes." Kurt instructed. Blaine reluctantly did as told. "Picture the stair way completely full of students all rushing to the same place. You're mixed in with the crowd, rushing down the stairs. You're running late to a performance with the Warblers, when a hand reaches out and grabs your shoulder. You turn around and see me." Kurt whispered. "Except of course I'm younger and very baby faced. No, wait don't picture that, it's not pretty."

"Too late." Blaine grinned, "and it's very adorable." Kurt was thankful Blaine's eyes were still closed, so he couldn't see the pink that spread through Kurt's cheeks.

"Then I say, 'excuse me, can you help me? I'm new here.' And you, always the gentle man, extended your hand for me to shake and say, 'I'm Blaine.' And I simple say, 'Kurt.'" Kurt sighed. "Open your eyes."

"That's it?" Blaine asked.

"Mostly." Kurt said. "Then you told me everyone was going to see the Warblers perform and you knew a short cut. So, you took my hand and led my to the choir room. Actually you kinda dragged me behind you, but it was enchanting nevertheless." Kurt chuckled, reminiscing.

"Can we go to the choir room through the short cut?"

"Sure." Kurt took Blaine's hand, the same way they had when they first met.

Walking down the hall, Blaine had become aware of holding Kurt's hand for the first time that day. But, he didn't protest for some reason. It just felt right.

Entering the choir room, they stopped in the doorway. "You sang Teenage Dream. And even though the room was full of people, I was convinced you were singing to me."

"Teenage Dream?" Blaine didn't remember the song.

"It's by Katy Perry, she's your favorite. I can sing it for you." Kurt offered, walking down the three steps.

"Okay." Blaine said, staying put.

Kurt went through the song, standing in almost the exact same spot that Blaine had stood in. While, Blaine watched from the spot Kurt had been in. His ears and hazel eyes were both in awe as they realized how beautiful Kurt truly looked and sounded. He had no doubt that someone could love Kurt, he just didn't understand how he, himself, could love a man.

When he finished singing, Kurt wordlessly walked up to Blaine and kissed him. He didn't think about, he just pressed their lips together until he felt Blaine kissing him back. He had missed the feeling of their lips together, and didn't want that feeling to ever go away. However, it only lasted a second, as Blaine pulled away, terror and other heart wrenching emotions in his eyes. "Take me home." Was all he said.

After a painful, silent car ride, Kurt drove to his house and locked himself in his room to drown in his own embarrassment and regret.
