Running into the boys bathroom, Kurt collapsed on the floor in front of a toilet. He was sick of it all; Blaine's accident, the sympathy everyone gives him, while still leaving him feeling completely alone and useless. With tears pouring out of his eyes, he released a mixture of sobs and vomit into the toilet, before collapsing around it in defeat.
He heard the door open and footsteps make their way towards him, checking each stall. Assuming it was one of his friends, Kurt sat up and furiously wiped at his eyes.
"Hey homo!" Kurt was wrong. The footsteps he heard belonged to Azimio Adams, who hadn't been much of a direct and personal problem for Kurt since Blaine came and Karofsky left. But, Kurt still feared the beast who now towered over him.
"What do you want?" Kurt snapped.
"Revenge." Azimio growled. Kurt quivered in fear. "You sprinkled your faggy dust all over Dave and now he's gone."
"I didn't do that to David. He was born that way." Kurt defended.
"I really don't give a damn, cause I'm gonna kick your ass anyways." Azimio promised, giving Kurt a swift kick in the side.
"Why now? Why today? Karofsky left last year, he's been gone a while." Kurt pleaded, thinking maybe this would change the jock's mind.
"Even though I could've easily taken both of you out, you're little mini gay gave you strength in numbers. But since he's no mo' homo," Kurt winced, not only from the insult to both himself and Blaine, but also to Azimio's "slang". "You're the only target."
"You can't do this! My friends are gonna come!" Kurt warned, raising his voice a little.
"Yell all you want," Azimio leaned down, clenching Kurt's designer shirt in his large fists. "I locked the door. They can't get in." Azimio pulled Kurt off the ground. He held Kurt an arms length away with one hand and made a fist with the other. Kurt struggled to break loose, kicking and swinging. But as the punches began to roll in, one after another, Kurt slowly stopped trying to fight back and just gave in. "Had enough, yet, ladie Hummel?" The beast roared. His prey let out a wounded whimper. Azimio dropped Kurt, letting him fall back to the ground where he belonged. "Get up." He commanded. "Get up and fight like a man, not a worthless ass f*cker." Kurt wanted, he really did. He tried to push himself up off the ground and give his tormentor a taste of his own medicine. But the stabbing pain in his gut told him he couldn't. Again Azimio kicked him, "you disgust me." He scoffed, before leaving the bathroom.
Katie wasn't taking Blaine straight home, she wanted them to have their first official date. So, she took them to a park. While walking through the park's scenic trail, Blaine told Katie about his first day of school, from home room to Glee club, not leaving out anything even Kurt.
"That kid makes me uncomfortable." Katie said, referring to Kurt.
"He did for me too, at first, because of how I met him after my accident. But once I talked to him, he's not that bad..sometimes, usually." Blaine said, thinking about his moments with Kurt during the day.
Katie giggled, "No, I mean like not his personality, his sexuality. I think it's wrong and unnatural." This hurt Blaine a little, even though he didn't fully understand why. He decided to just shrug it off. "Actually that whole club kinda rubs me the wrong way. Their kinda losers, why do you hang with them?"
"I don't know, I'm pretty sure they're my friends. And they're nice to me." He said.
"I'm nice to you." She retorted. "And I can be much nicer than them." She whispered, suddenly closer.
"What do you mean?" Blaine asked, genuinely confused.
"I'll show you." She said, leading Blaine back to her car.
She opened the door to the backseat of her car and gestured for Blaine to get in. He did and immediately Katie smashed her lips into his and forced him back into the seat. This kiss was far more intense than any of the kisses they shared at the hospital. She was on top of him and forcing her tongue into his mouth. Before he knew it, they were both shirtless and she was hungrily kissing down Blaine's neck and chest. He didn't want to be there, he wanted it to be over. And what certainly was n't wishing for was what happened next. Katie began to fiddle with the button of Blaine's pants. "Katie..." he warned. She just hummed, her lips tickling his stomach. "Katie, stop." Blaine commanded. The girl just giggled. "I'm serious. Get off me now." This got her attention.
Still straddling him, she sat up. "What do you mean?" She asked him.
"I mean get up and get off me." Blaine said in a firm voice he didn't know he had.
"You don't want me?" She questioned, sounding almost hurt.
"I'm sorry, but no." He said. "I've known you for about a week, I'm still recovering and I have the mind of a seven year old. It wouldn't be right."
"Oh, but it would be so right!" She groaned, leaning down to ravage him again.
"No, stop! Just take me home, please." Blaine whined.
"No. Either get in my pants or get out of my car." She snapped. Blaine starred in awe at how quickly she had changed from the sweet nurse to this..this monster. He rebuttoned his pants and put his shirt back on. He stormed out of the car and sat on a park bench, facing away from the Prius of hell. Realizing he was now alone in the park at night, he got out his phone and scrolled through his contacts, finding Nick. He called him and explained everything that happened with Katie, before Nick agreed to come pick him up.
Kurt couldn't move. He just lay there in pain, disgusted by the stench of his own stale vomit. He probably would've stayed in that bathroom all night, if a janitor didn't find him and make him leave. Slowly and painfully he walked through the dark parking lot to his car.
"Thanks." Blaine said, climbing into Nick's car.
"No problem." Nick said.
"Girls are crazy." Blaine sighed.
"I know, you're preaching to the choir." Nick replied. "That is why I don't date them." He looked straight ahead for a moment, not at the road but just out. Blaine could tell he was thinking about Jeff.
"You really love him, don't you?" Blaine asked.
"Yeah," Nick sighed, a small smile on his face.
"It must be nice, being in love I mean."
"It is. But you know- knew that with..never mind." Nick stopped himself.
"With who?" Blaine asked.
"Never mind." Nick said again.
"You have to tell me, Nick. We're best friends, just tell me."
"You and Kurt. You guys loved each other." Nick slowly made out. "And I'm pretty sure you both still do."
"No, I'm sorry. You're wrong, because I'm not gay." Blaine defended.
"Have you talked to him?"
"Yes." Blaine said with pride.
"About..." Nick promoted.
"Chemistry homework." Blaine reluctantly answered.
"Blaine," Nick whined, "you guys need to talk about you, both of you. Your relationship. I honestly think it could bring your memory back."
"No, I'm sure there's other ways to bring it back." Blaine said.
"Not as well, but Jeff and I were thinking about giving you a tour of Dalton on Saturday. Up for that?" Blaine nodded in response. "Awesome, but I still think you should talk to Kurt."
When Kurt walked into his house late at night and way past curfew, he was surprised Carole and his dad weren't waiting by the door.
"Kurt?" Carole called from the living room.
"Yeah." He called back, wincing in pain.
"Where've you been, buddy?" Finn most have told them what happened after practice. They both had sympathy lacing their voices.
"Out." Kurt snapped, before trying to make his way up stairs.
He showered and changed, before collapsing into his bed and falling asleep.
Coming home late, Blaine expected his mother to swarm him with too much love and care, instead he entered the house to hear yelling coming from his parent's bedroom. He sat on the stairs trying to listen. But he left when he confirmed it was work related and not his fault.
He collapsed on his bed, trying to sleep. But he just sat up staring at his ceiling and thinking about what happened that day. It had all been so insane, with Katie and what Nick said about Kurt. "Kurt", now that the name was in Blaine's head, he couldn't seem to get it out. His solo, again what Nick said, even back in the hospital that first night. Everything was coming up Kurt.
