"I thought only distressed citizens called for Batman." Blaine announced. He had stepped onto the rooftop to find Catman the source of the light in the sky.

"Robin." Catman grinned, "why am I not surprised to find you here?"

"Is this some sort of trap? What're you up to?" Robin asked, cautiously approaching his enemy.

Catman laughed, his head rolling back as the sound painted the black sky. Blaine knew that laugh far too well. "Robin, Robin, Robin," he rattled, circling Blaine. "Did you ever consider that maybe I already killed the person who sent out the signal and you failed to save them before you even tried?"

"No. I've been watching you longer than you realize." That was a lie, Blaine hadn't been there for very long. Catman's jaw tightened and he sulked back to his light, followed by Blaine. "Your hair is black now." Blaine observed. With the rooftop illuminated by the spotlight, Blaine could see a lot more of his rival than on their first encounter. "I miss the hazel and signature blonde streak. People used to say your hair matched my eyes."

"I don't know what you're talking about. It's always been black." Catman lied, a slight quiver and edge in his voice. It was working.

Blaine stepped uncomfortably close, it was his turn to play games. "And you don't smell like vanilla and chai anymore. Now it's peppermint and musk. It's kinda hot."

Kurt took in a huff of air. He couldn't let his disguise down, he couldn't let Robin get to him. Even though that tiny boy really did know how to get to him. "Step away before I kill you." Kurt hissed. He was trying to stay threatening, even though every fiber in him was being unraveled by the closeness and warmth of Robin. The overwhelming scent of oranges and gel mixed with hazel eyes haunted Kurt with his greatest regret: breaking his love's heart.

"What are you doing?" The ghost of Robin's breathe tickled Kurt's cheek.

"Distracting you from getting in Catwoman's way." Kurt answered, simply divulging half their plan. He knew Robin was to thick headed to take a hint and go help Batman.

"That's not what I mean."

"What do you mean?"

"You know what I mean."

"You know I don't."

"What happened to you?" Kurt's lip quivered, he couldn't answer that question. So, he did what he could do. He pounced on Robin, pinning him to the ground. He flinched at the pained groan the smaller sidekick made.

"I should ask the same to you, letting your guard down like that." Catman purred. Robin was struggling to get up. "But," Catman rolled of him when he felt his phone buzz with a text. Santana had made it out successfully. Their work was done.

"You were always pretty oblivious, Mr. Anderson." With that, Catman sauntered away. He left Blaine positive that his cover was blown and pretty damn sure that was Kurt. He also had a huge migraine and a sore back.

Blaine slowly and painfully made his way into the living room to find Sam on the couch watching TV. Shit, Blaine had planned to sneak to his room, thinking Sam would already be asleep. He can't know Robin was also their on the mission, when Batman told him not to be.

"Hey, Blaine...where have you been?" Sam asked, taking in his Robin uniform and trying to connect the dots.

"With the Warblers." Blaine shot out the first thing that came to mind.

"Dressed like that?"

"We went to a convention at the comic store and everyone was dressed up." Blaine lied.

"Oh, that sounds fun. Just next time, buy a costume or make one. You know what I say about wearing uniform for normal stuff. I don't want anyone catching on." Sam reminded him. Blaine was thankful Sam was almost as gullable as Finn. They both took too many footballs to the head.

"Right. But, uh, yeah it was a lot of fun. I really need a break, I think it helped." The throbbing in Blaine's head was speaking now. It's telling him he really should've been out with the Warblers, instead of being smacked into the ground. And his emotional state wasn't even good to begin with. Tonight made it worse. His cracked back knew getting Kurt was not going to be easy.

"Great! I'm glad. Maybe you can go on our next mission." Sam smiled and Blaine forced one in return. He really was happy about the next mission, but as he tried to continue the walk to his room, his muscles ached in protest. His back hunched in pain. "You okay?" Sam asked.

"Oh, yeah..." He needed an excuse, "I laughed so hard, I fell out of my chair and hurt my back." Worst lie ever, he thought to himself.

"Ouch." Really, really gullable. "You should probably rest up, don't want you to miss anymore missions." Sam winked, then he started to chuckle. "It's ironic, they say laughter is the best medicine, but it only hurt you." Blaine pretended to laugh, too.

"Goodnight, Sam."

"Night, Blaine. Feel better!"
