Blaine grinned at the diamond he now grasped in his hand. Looking back to the rooftop where Batman was fighting Catwoman, he couldn't help get excited. He was so close, he just had to make from here to Batman's side. Sam was going to be so proud of him! Blaine looked out into the night sky about to help Sam take down Catwoman, when he figured now was his only chance for a victory dance, because he- Blaine 'Robin' Anderson had just completed his first offical solo mission. Mid-dance he heard a snicker from behind him. Blaine snapped around to see a figure looming in the shadows. The creature possessed a silhouette similar to Catwoman's. Blaine turned back, confirming that she was still fighting Blaine's leader. He turned, cautiously approaching the creature in hopes to discover who or what it was. Just as he drew near, there was another snicker and the creature was gone. You're paranoid, Blaine told himself, there's nothing there. He slowly returned to the window, again going to take flight back to Batman. There's nothing to be scared of, he assured himself once more.
"You should be afraid of me, Robin." A light voice purred from behind Blaine, almost as if they had read his mind. He snapped around to see the source of the voice.
"Who's there? Show yourself!" He commanded. "I'm armed and I am not afraid of you!" Blaine tried to sound as forceful as possible, but he couldn't help letting out a small squeal when the creature leapt from the darkness and pinned Blaine's cape with one knee, rendering him trapped under their body.
"Boo." The creature, a male, whispered, his face close enough to tickle Blaine with his breathe. Blaine closed his eyes for no more than a second. When he opened them, the man had relocated on the windowsill next Blaine. "Hello Robin." Blaine noticed begrudgingly that he was carelessly tossing the diamond Blaine had just secured.
"Who are you? I thought Catwoman worked alone." Blaine interrogated, trying to stay strong under the icy blue stare of the villain.
The man let out a mocking laugh, "didn't Batman work alone, once upon a time?" His voice was higher than most men, but still a sultry purr. Although Blaine would never admit it, the voice was very alluring. "And besides, what's Catwoman without Catman?"
"Catman?" Blaine chuckled, "very original." His words swimming in sarcasm.
"At least I'm not a fucking songbird!" Catman snapped, alarming Blaine a little. The he let out a sharp hiss and leaned back into his original smug demeanor. "So, are you gonna try to get your diamond back or what?"
"Why aren't you running away? You have the diamond, so go." Blaine said, feeling a little shaken up and frightened. He hadn't actually run into any villains without Batman their to fight for him, he wasn't prepared to fight for the stone.
Catman lifted a perfectly quaffed eyebrow, slowly crawling a cross the ledge towards Blaine, stopping at his ear, "where would the fun in that be?" Blaine let out a distressed whimper as Catman used a single finger to turn Blaine's face towards his own. "Come on, fight me for it." He whispered.
Blaine reached in an attempt to grab Catman's wrist. His efforts were in vain as the far more experienced boy back flipped out of reach. "I know you can do better than that." He teased. Blaine sighed and again reached towards Catman, this going for his ankles. Again the cunning cat alluded him, flipping onto the ground behind Blaine. It had become a game of chase, Blaine making reaches, some close some way off, for the Cat and Catman dodging them in increasingly elaborate manuveers.
Now with determination and vengeance clouding his eyes, Robin made another charge towards him. Kurt considered leaping out of the way again, which after Santana's training, he could easily do. But he pitied Robin and let the small boy knock him down, pinning him to the ground. Robin came even with Kurt, looking him in the eyes, a look of pure power and control. Honestly, Kurt found it a total turnon. "That's more like it. Make me fight for what I deserve." Kurt breathed, both of their chest heaving.
"And what makes you think you deserve this?" Robin growled, Kurt had let him pin down both of his arms and take the diamond, knowing Robin with ignorantly forget about his legs. Rookie mistake, Catman thought with a smirk. He kicked Robin off him, hearing a thud and an "oof" as the small boy landed on his back. Kurt dropped onto all fours, now pinning down Robin and reversing their situation.
Kurt began doing something he was certain Robin did not see coming. He started pressing warm kisses up the boy's neck, until Robin forgot who he was and what he was doing. With their lips meer inches apart, Robin's heavy breathes brushing against Kurt's seducing smirk, Kurt reached into Robin's mini version of Batman's utility belt. Once he retrieved the diamond and secured it in his own costume, he brought their lips even closer. Close, but not touching, he whispered, "did you really think you would win?" With that, Kurt leaped up in one graceful motion. He sauntered towards the shadows, making sure he flashed Robin the diamond, before he disappeared into them. But he didn't make it far when he heard, "dammit Blaine, business before pleasure."
Kurt stopped dead in his tracks. Blaine, that name brought back so many memories of his younger years, before he joined Santana, turning to the dark side. He knew those hazel eyes looked familiar. Walking away now would break his heart all over again, he wouldn't be able to stand it. But, going back could risk the diamond and blow his cover. For one more chance to gaze into those hazel eyes, Kurt would risk the world.
As Robin- er, Blaine slowly made their way to standing, rubbing the back of their head, Kurt retreated from the darkness once more. He ran up and kissed Blaine flat on the lips. It took a second, but Blaine finally kissed back. It was just like the old days, their lips fitting together perfectly, their hands finding each other and their bodies close enough to feel the beats of the other's heart, a steady reminder that they're alive and together.
Pulling away, Catman whispered, "sometimes pleasure comes first, Mr. Anderson." Then he departed, vanishing from sight. Blaine stood their for a good ten minutes, dumbfounded. He was trying to process what had just happened. He had just kissed Catman, one of his enemies. Catman knows who he really is. There's no way Catman wouldn't tell and blow Blaine's cover, Robin is officially over. Catman had a very Kurt like aura. Blaine turned back, heading for Sam and trying to suppress the resurfaced emotions of his high school boyfriend. It wasn't Kurt, Blaine told himself, Kurt vanished five years ago, he's probably dead. Ouch, Blaine's concious was not sugar coating things tonight. But, he couldn't be upset now. He had to return to Batman and report the failure of his first mission. His regret joined the pity party of self loathing emotions within Blaine, drowning in the constantly overwhelming amount of longing for Kurt.
