Author's Notes: Sorry for the long wait! School started and I didn't have time to really sit down and write until now.A few more things:1) I realize that I have seriously gotten off the band geeks topic. My bad. I sort of just took it where the story led me...and I got off track.2) This chapter is really short but Blaine changes in it so yay!3)OVER A THOUSAND VIEWS! Thank you guys so much! Hopefully you enjoyed it...I wouldn't know because of the lack of reviews but still I hope you did!

The car ride home was completely silent and when the trio got home they said goodnight to Carole and went straight to bed. Kurt tossed and turned with nightmares of Blaine on the other side of that cherry wood door. What if something bad happened to him? What if Mr. Anderson takes it too far? What if no one stops it until it's too late?

No, he couldn't think like that. He couldn't afford to think like that.

But it could happen.

No, stop it!

You could stop this.

How? I don't have that kind of power.

You have more power than you think.

I don't understand.

Tell Blaine that this is getting out of hand. That he needs to get help.

He wont listen to me.

Yes he will, you just need to do it right.

I don't know–

Sing. It is heartbreak week, is it not?

That could work.

You bet it would.

Kurt jumped out of bed and got to work on a song for tomorrow.

Mr. Schue clapped his hands together once everyone was seated.

“Alright guys! Last day for heartbreak week and I believe Kurt has a song to sing.” Kurt got up and moved to the center of the room. He was nervous and shaking a little but he needed to sing this song to Blaine. Kurt could tell where the concealer was covering up a bruise on his cheek and he looked defeated every minute. He'd lost his soul this week, and Kurt was sure to bring it back to him.

“Since I didn't sing last week I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone.” He turned to Blaine. “Blaine, you're going through a lot right now. With maybe losing your place in band, and that song you sang to me, and Karo–,” he stopped himself. “Well, with everything. Hopefully with a song, you can get some innocence back. This is for you.” Kurt smiled as he heard his friends in the orchestra start up the song.

If I could open my arms
And span the length of the isle of Manhattan,
I'd bring it to where you are
Making a lake of the East River and Hudson

And if I could open my mouth
Wide enough for a marching band to march out of
They would make your name sing
And bend through alleys and bounce off other buildings.

I wish we could open our eyes
To see in all directions at the same time
Oh what a beautiful view
If you were never aware of what was around you

And it is true what you said
That I live like a hermit in my own head
But when the sun shines again
I'll pull the curtains and blinds to let the light in.

Sorrow drips into your heart through a pinhole
Just like a faucet that leaks and there is comfort in the sound
But while you debate half empty or half full
It slowly rises, your love is gonna drown

Your love is gonna drown

Your love is gonna drown

Your love s gonna drown

Your love is gonna drown

Your love is gonna drown

Your love is gonna drown

Your love is gonna drown

Your love is gonna drown

Your love is gonna drown
Your love is gonna...

The entire room stood on their feet and cheered for Kurt's performance. As he wiped a tear away from his face Blaine stood up and walked over to Kurt. The two stared at each other for the longest time until Blaine uttered the words, “Thank you.”

Kurt smiled and gave Blaine the longest hug he had ever had. The two were happy. And that was all they needed.

End Notes: Okay, guys. Next chapter will either be the last or one of the last and then the epilogue. Wow. That went fast. Anyways, thanks for reading. :)Song was Marching Bands of Manhattan by Deathcab For Cutie
