Author's Notes: Not really any action in this one, but theres a major scene coming soon!

A week passed by, the time seemed to go faster when Blaine was around. They had both decided it would be better if Blaine stayed across the hall from Kurt. Blaine would be safer and he would have more shelter from the out side world. Kurt didn't mind. Having a young handsome man living across the hall was what he had dreamed about before any of this had happened.

A knock came from the door, Kurt turned around and smiled. "Come in Blaine!" Kurt finished cooking a can of soup on a hotplate. Kurt enjoyed cooking. He used to watch his mom cook, the memory's were hazy but they were the some of the few he had he had of her.

Kurt turned to see Blaine closing the door of the apartment. He walked over to Kurt with a huge smile on his face. "Hey! I see you cooked." Blaine licked his lips. "I'm starving!"

"Lets eat then." Kurt handed Blaine a bowl, it was half filled. Food wasn't hard to come by. The infecteds had no need for food. The only food they couldn't eat was the expired ones. Which meant no milk, fruits, and some meat.

Blaine sat on the floor while Kurt sat on the couch. Blaine liked to talk, and Kurt enjoyed to hear the things Blaine had to say.

"Kurt, what was your life like before this?"

Kurt sighed finishing a spoon full of soup. "Quiet. Not really peaceful. We had family dinners." Kurt smiled, "I miss them. The way they laughed, talked, and smiled. Burt, my father, worked in an auto shop. He really enjoyed working there. When I was in high school I was part of the glee club. Everyone in there was like my second family. One of the boys in there, Finn, I had a huge crush on him!" Kurt laughed, "His mom Carole, she married my dad a little after that. Burt and Carole were really happy." Kurt stopped.

"Kurt? Are you okay?" Blaine looked up at Kurt a bit worried.

Kurt felt the tears spring to his eyes, "They were so happy."

Blaine slowly knelled in front of Kurt, "Kurt, What happened to them?"

Kurt shoved his face in his hands, "They're gone. The-They got possessed and I killed them."

Blaine pulled Kurt into a hug, rubbing his back. "Kurt, it wasn't your fault. They got possessed, there was nothing else you could have done." Blaine hugged Kurt closer trying to sooth him.

Eventually, Kurt's breathing began to slow down, and he let go of Blaine. He stood up and didn't say a word to Blaine. Kurt walked to his room stopping when he barley got into the room, "I killed all of them." He turned and closed the door.

Kurt came out a few hours later. He walked to the living room to see Blaine asleep on the couch. Kurt smiled to himself as he grabbed a blanket and drifted it over Blaine's body.

Kurt walked to the kitchen taking a water bottle to clean the dishes with. Kurt liked stay up here. Nothing could touch him and he felt grown up.

The dishes only took ten minutes. Which left the rest of the time to sulk. Kurt sat against the wall with the curtains closed and Blaine's soft snoring drifting through the air.

There was really no point in dwelling on the past. It was done for and nothing could change what had happened. So, why did Kurt feel like shit every time he thought about them?

Kurt laid his head back to the wall. The images swimming around his brain. The songs he sang when he was in the glee, New Directions. The friends he had and the people who threw slushies in his face. The cheerios team that he had once been on. The awful school lunch that he refused to eat. The dreams he had about Nyada. The night he was woken up in a panic, his father crying and telling him it was all going to be okay. When in fact it wasn't. His mom laying on the hospital bed. The white eyes, laughter and blood that came with the demons. The blood that was theirs.
