Kurt lived the next few days with the same level of fear and anxiety. He still had the feeling that the world was a scary place. He was lying in bed beside Blaine had just woken up. He felt bad for Blaine. They hadnt slept together since the attack. They tried a few times but when it got to Blaine removing Kurts clothes, Kurt got vivid memories of his trousers being pulled down by the attacker. Blaine had been so understanding when Kurt couldnt continue. He couldnt believe how lucky he was to have Blaine. His thoughts were interrupted when his phone rang. “Hello Isabelle” said Kurt as her name flashed up on his screen.

“Hi Kurt, I hope I havent called at a bad time” said Isabelle

“No its fine” insisted Kurt.

“How are things?” inquired Isabelle

“So so” said Kurt. He appreciated Isabelles regular check up phone calls. She had allowed him the time off to recover.

“I know I said take as much time as you need. But I was looking at your designs from last week that you sent in and I must have them for next months fashion show”

“Really? But they where only rough sketches” said Kurt. Blaine looked as Kurts face lit up.

“Well I know they were sketches but the designs are gorgeous. With the fashion show being next week, we need to get working on it as soon as possible. Kurt, do you think you can come in today to discuss things?” Isabelle broached the subject carefully.

“I think so” said Kurt surprising himself.

“Great. See you soon”

“Guess what?” said Kurt after he hung up “Isabelle loved my designs and wants to use them in next months fashion show”.

“Thats great news. I told you she would love them” said Blaine

“I know. I should listen to you more often” said Kurt “Anyway she needs to see me today. I think it will be good for me to go back to work and to normality.”

“Youre not pushing yourself too much?” questioned Blaine

“No I dont think I am. I feel I need a distraction.” said Kurt “I know since you finish work early today, why dont you pick me up and well go for something to eat?”

“That sounds like a great idea” said Blaine

“Hi Blaine” said Kurt kissing his boyfriend as he got into his car later that day.

“Hi honey, how was work?” asked Blaine

“It was good. Everyone was so nice. They all went out of their way to welcome me back. And of course they all loved my designs” said Kurt cheekily.

“Of course they did” reverberated Blaine “So do you want to go for Italian food?”

“No. I want to go back to our apartment” said Kurt with a knowing smile.

"Ok" said Blaine very quietly.
