The following month Blaine arrived home from work to find Kurt busy preparing dinner. Since Kurt had been attending his bi-weekly therapy session, things had seemed to settle down.

“Blaine I heard Not Alone on the radio today. It looks set to be number one” said Kurt.

“Fingers crossed” said Blaine smiling.

“It will. Its an amazing song and its sung by someone amazing” said Kurt as he noticed Blaine blushing.

“Youre pretty amazing yourself” said Blaine.

“I do my best” said Kurt.

“No, really you are amazing. Its not everyone who gets their designs chosen for New York fashion show”. said Blaine. Kurt just smiled “So how was todays session?”

“It was good. Ruth said she is really pleased with my progress.” said Kurt

“Thats great” said Blaine as he leaned in for a kiss.

“In fact she thinks Im nearly finished going to her” said Kurt smiling. Kurt surprised Blaine as he turned the oven off. “Before we have dinner, I want to show you something in the bedroom”

“I like the sound of that” said Blaine suggestively.

“No its not like that silly” said Kurt playfully tapping Blaines arm. “Just come on”.

When Blaine reached their bedroom he was taken a back by the candles dotted around the room burning brightly. He saw the rose petals spread out on their bed. Before he could properly process this he turned to look at his boyfriend. Kurt got down on one knee and took a box out from his pocket.

“Blaine one of the things that Ruth spoke to me about is focusing on the future. As far as Im concerned youre it. You have been the most wonderful boyfriend I could ask for during this whole time. I know I have been a nightmare to deal with. This has been hard on me, but its been hard on you too. I love you and I appreciate you sticking by me. So will you marry me” said Kurt looking up at Blaine lovingly.

“Yes, yes...of course I will” said Blaine. Kurt slid the ring on Blaines finger and stood up. The two men kissed each other to confirm their love. “I love you Kurt and there is nothing that we cant get through together”. They kissed again and fell back together on their bed.

Kurt woke up to find Blaine admiring his ring.

“I cant believe were engaged. Im so happy Kurt. I love you” said Blaine

“Im so happy you said yes Mr Anderson-Hummel. I love you too” said Kurt.

“I like the sound of that” said Blaine as he leaned in for a kiss.

“I was thinking that we should go to Europe for our honeymoon” suggested Kurt.

“That way we can visit Ireland” added Blaine.

“We have the same thoughts” giggled Kurt.

“Well then its a good thing were getting married Mr Anderson-Hummel” said Blaine. “I think we should call in sick into work and spend the whole day in bed”.

“I agree” said Kurt. But to Blaines surprise, Kurt got out of bed.

“Where are you going?” wondered Blaine.

“Im going to make my fiancee breakfast in bed if thats ok” said Kurt.

“That is more than ok” said Blaine. "As much as i love being your fiancee, I cant wait to be your husband".
