Author's Notes: Hey guys. I dont own the Glee characters, you know the score.
"I cant believe its still snowing."

Blaine and Kurt were stood in line at The Lima Bean, waiting to order their coffee. Kurt was watching the large flakes out the window, swirling in the air and fluttering down to settle on a bed of white. "If it doesnt stop we'll struggle to make it home for Christmas."

"Come on Kurt, i'm sure we will, besides-"

"What can I get you dear?" They were interupted by an older lady with a silver bob and tortoiseshell glasses peering over the counter at them.

Blaine didnt hesitate knowing they wouldnt want anything but the usual. "A medium drip and grande non-fat mocha please."

He watched Kurt smile to himself. "Why would I forget something so important?" He asked, reading Kurts face and knowing exactly what he was thinking. "Hmmm." He bent over slightly to look in the glass casing infront of him that held a wide selection of Christmas themed treats. "Now, do you want to share a box of those delicious looking christmas tree biscuits?" he pointed at a small red box with the lid open, showing 6 tree shapes covered in green icing and sprinkles.

"Sure." Kurt placed a 10 dollar bill into Blaines hand. "I'll go grab us our usual spot."

Kurt found their usual window seat and Blaine joined him moments later. "I paid for both of us. You've been paying alot lately." Blaine put a coffee cup and his $10 infront of Kurt and sat down opposite him. He chuckled softly. "Dont roll your eyes at me Kurt Hummel!"

Kurt grinned. "You know have snow in your hair again?"

Blaine ran a hand through his dark hair. "Great, its dissolved my gel."

"You shouldnt wear so much then! If you didnt wear it, you wouldnt have that problem." Kurt tried to hide a grin. He loved Blaines hair but even more so when it was wild and curly.

"I'm a product addict Kurt, I can never get enough. Do you have a mirror? I bet it looks terrible."

You wouldnt know what an addict was if it hit you in the face, Kurt thought. I'm addicted to you, looking at you, being with you, making you laugh, seeing you smile. You've become such an addiction I need you to live, I swear. "It looks fine, its gone all curly, like last night. I much prefer it when its natural."

Suddenly Blaine tensed. "Look Kurt we need to speak about last night. You went to bed and I was trying to tell you something."

"Mm?"

Blaine reached across the table to take Kurts hand in his, lacing their fingers together. "Kurt, ever since I met you, I knew you were different from everyone else, special. I knew you were going to be special to me but there comes a time when you realise behind everything there is so much more to discover. Your like a force Kurt, pulling me towards you and I dont think I can... Kurt?" He frowned. Kurt clearly didnt hear a word he said, he was staring directly behind him, now he was waving.

"There you are, we've been looking for you two everywhere!" Blaine turned to see two boys in navy blazers with red trim walking towards them.

"David, Wes!"

"What are you guys doing here?" Kurt asked, raising a perfectly shaped eyebrow. "I thought you two were discussing the Warbler christmas concert with Thad at the meeting?"

"We were." Wes ran a hand through his dark brown hair, like Blaine just did, brushing out the snow. "Then we heard the weather forecast and there is going to be a huge storm. The day students got sent home early but you two were the only boarders missing and when you wernt in the common room we realised it was your daily Lima time, didnt we Dave?"

"Yup." He looked from Kurt to Blaine then to their hands, still entwined, resting on the table. "We were planning on coming down here to get coffee anyway but we were hoping to find you. If its as bad as the tutors are saying, you do not want to get stuck out here in it. I know you've got your SUV Kurt, but it wouldnt be a safe drive."

Blaine let out a sigh. "Thanks guys, we'll make our way back now. See you back at Dalton."

"So, what were you telling me?" Kurt asked, getting up out of his seat.

"It doesnt matter."

Kurt wrinkled his nose. "Fine."

"Do you want me to drive?" Blaine asked they began to walk to Kurts SUV down the road. "You drove here and its even longer than it is in the snow. Kurt, whats wrong?" Kurt frozen on the spot, his face white as a sheet.

Dave Karofsky was getting out of his car, followed by several of his jock goons. "Come on." Blaine grabbed his hand and pulled him off the kurb and round to the side of a red chevy truck. "Oo, this is an 1984 model, it must be Wes's."

Kurt shot him a glare, "Cars? You're talking about cars? Now?" he hissed.

"Hey." Blaine reached out and brushed his thumb over Kurts perfectly pale cheek. "I'm sorry."

As soon as Karofsky had dissapeared they walked to the Navigator and Blaine opened the passanger door for him. "Hop in Hummel."

"I should have faced him shouldnt I?" Kurt asked as Blaine got in and started the engine.

"Look, I dont condone running away from the things you fear but I pulled you away because this guy terrorised you Kurt. He made your life hell, you lived in fear and he's disgusting so its just best to avoid any more situations where he can hurt you okay? Now, the Christmas concert." he said trying to change the subject. "I'm thinking a duet and i'm thinking baby its cold outside, as we did it so well together in practise."

"Perfect."

"Hey, fag."

Kurt froze.

"I said, hey fag!"

Kurt sighed, closing his locker with a bang. "What Karofsky?"

"You better not have told anyone about the other week you dirty little-"

He swivled, to face the large brute, "Dirty? You have the cheek to call me dirty after you.-"

He tried to stifle a yell as Karofsky shoved him and his body collided painfully with the locker behind him. "Say it out loud Hummel and i'll kill you, I swear." he hissed his fist raised.

Kurt lay curled up on his bed staring into the darkness of the room, his fist in his mouth trying to stiffle the sobbing so not to wake the other boys. He couldnt go back to sleep now. The terror haunted him and it felt so real, even in his dreams. "Kurt?"

Oh god no, please dont let them come over here.

The whisper came again. "Kurt?"

There was a rustling of movement and he felt a weight pressing down his mattress slightly. "Its only me."

Oh, only me. Isnt that helpful? Me could be anyone if he didnt know that voice anywhere. "Blaine, what are you doing?" he whispered, wiping his tears on the sleeve of his pajamas.

"I couldnt sleep and it sounded like you were awake. I wanted to check if you were okay after today with seeing Karofsky."

Suddenly he snapped, the emotion was too much and he had to clasp his hand over his mouth again to stop the noise. Blaine started moving foward, patting the bedsheets until he felt his way to Kurt. "Hey come here." He pulled Kurt into his arms, "Shhh, its okay." He cooed.

Kurt wrapped his arms around Blaines waist, sobbing into his chest. "I-i'm sorry." he whispered.

"I know you've been having dreams recently, I hear you shouting in your sleep."

Kurt whimpered, grabbing fistfuls of his pajama top, as if he was trying to cling onto him for dear life. "I'm here now, its going to be okay." Blaine pulled them both backwards onto the bed, his arm wrapped around his shoulders letting Kurt lay down, snuggled safely into his side. "Go to sleep, its going to be okay. I wont leave you." He leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to Kurts forehead.

"Thankyou."

Kurt needed this. Needed Blaine. Needed to fall asleep the arms of his best friend. Needed the calm and comfort Blaine brought him. He didnt even care when they woke the next morning to the blare of an alarm clock, with their dorms mates staring at them as they laid on his bed, their legs wrapped around eachother and their fingers entwined.

Blaine, his face buried in the crook of Kurts neck, eyes still closed, ran a hand up Kurts side, brushing his fingers lightly over his cheek and tangled his fingers in his soft brown hair.

"Mm, Kurt, G'morning." he mumbled sleepily onto a canvas of soft skin, letting his lips trace up and down his neck.

Kurt smiled, squeezing the hand that was still laced his. "Good morning." he whispered. "From the draft and the unusual silence on a saturday morning, i'd say everyone is staring at us."

"What?" He lifted his head to see the curtains around the bed open and several pairs of eyes. "Who the hell opened the curtains?" he snapped, yanking them closed again. "get back to you're own buisness!"

There was a chorus of "sorry" and muttering then finally some movement. "Blaine, thankyou for staying with me last night."

Blaine layed back down, his hand never untangling from the beautiful boy beside him. "Kurt you're my best friend and i'll see you are happy, whatever it takes."

End Notes: I hope you enjoyed it, thankyou if you are reading!
