Author's Notes: the ending is so cheesy omg i know i'm sorry but i really wanted to get this updated

Blaine was the first to pull away, and there were so many things going through his mind. Like the fact that he actually just kissed Kurt, and how much he wanted to run away. He was hesitant to open his eyes, not ready to see Kurt's reaction. What if he was completely disgusted? Oh, god. What if he ruined everything?

He opened his eyes slowly, trailing up to meet Kurt's. The look on the other boy's face was pure shock, and Blaine didn't know what to make of it. Was it good shock, bad shock? He needed answers.

"... Kurt?"

He stared right past Blaine's face, taking a few moments to find his voice. He had no idea what was going on and he wasn't even sure he could actually speak.

"You kissed me."

Blaine couldn't help but smile a little at the crack in Kurt's voice. He bit the inside of his cheek and ducked his head down a little. "I did."

"Why?"

"Because I wanted to?" He regretted the words as soon as they left his lips. He reached up to grab his now throbbing arm.

"You really gotta stop hitting me," he frowned, rubbing his sore arm.

Kurt rolled his eyes, muttering "baby" under his breath. "Mm, you should really answer my question now, or you'll never get any kisses again."

Wait, what. Did he really just hear what he thought he did? He wasn't just imagining Kurt saying that, right? He really hoped not. "Wait, are you saying I'm going to get more kisses?"

"Not if you keep avoiding my question."

Blaine sighed, slumping a little. It really shouldn't be this hard to answer, but for some reason he couldn't find exactly what to say.

He licked his lips and ran his fingers through his curls before looking back up, his eyes locking with Kurt's once more. He was silent for a few minutes, going over what he wanted to say in his head. He was just hoping it wouldn't come out in a jumbled mess. With his luck, it was going to end up that way. And he'll have screwed things up even more. Not that he'd screwed anything up... yet.

"Kurt, I—look. Obviously I have feelings for you, and I have for a while. I've known I've liked you since we first met, but it didn't actually hit me until after Sectionals. That's when I really started noticing you, and all of these little things about you. And I tried to hold myself back, Kurt. I didn't want to rui—"

He was cut off by a pair of lips pressing against his, hard. His arms flew up in surprise, but he relaxed quickly, wrapping his arms around Kurt's waist. Kurt's arms were locked around his neck, twirling one of his curls in his hands, and oh my god. It felt so good. He could feel Kurt's tongue poking his lips, and fuck. Where did Kurt learn to kiss like this? He was always so... inexperienced when it came to stuff like this, it was surprising.

He had to break the kiss before he ended up losing control. This was hot, really hot, and he was afraid that if they didn't stop now, he would have a really big, embarrassing problem. Blaine rested his head against Kurt's, identical smiles plastered on each other's faces.

They stayed like that for a while, just staring at each other, not saying a word. There was a knock at the door which broke the boys' trance. Blaine jumped and flew over to his bed. They had just enough time to find something to do so they wouldn't look suspicious, or at least too suspicious.

The door opened and Nick poked his head in the room, looking both of the boys over. "Wes and David are going to get food, you two want anything?"

They gave him their order, and once Blaine was sure he was gone he took his spot on Kurt's bed again. He bounced up and down, causing Kurt to go flying into the air. Blaine laughed but shut up once he saw the unamused look on his face. He liked Kurt, he really did, but damn. He could be scary.

He scooted closer to the boy and grabbed his hand in his. He brushed his calloused fingers over the top of Kurt's hand, causing said boy to shiver. Blaine pretended he didn't notice, but on the inside he couldn't stop smiling. He was making Kurt do this; him. He couldn't believe it. He cleared his throat and looked up, taking in Kurt's features.

"So, does this make us boyfriends now?"

"Only if you ask me properly."

Blaine pushed off of the bed and knelt down on one knee, Kurt's hand still in his grasp. "Kurt Hummel, you are beautiful and smart and so, so perfect. It would be an honour to have you as my boyfriend. So, will you be my boyfriend?"

"Yes, you dork. I will be your boyfriend."

While the boys waited for their food (which was taking forever), they used this time to talk. And kiss. Actually, they spent more time kissing than talking, because now that they could kiss, they were going to do it as much as they possibly could. Blaine broke apart before things could get too heated, and while he didn't mind things going a little further, he knew Kurt didn't have that much experience and the last thing Blaine wanted was to make the boy do something he was uncomfortable with.

Both let out a sigh of relief upon hearing a knock at the door. All of the snacks they'd had in their room were gone and they were starving. The door was pushed open and Nick appeared once again, this time with a bag of food. They eyed the bag hungrily, almost missing what Nick had said.

"You guys coming down to eat with us?"

Blaine shook his head no and took the bag from Nick's outstretched hand. He hovered at the door for a few moments before walking away and leaving them alone. There was definitely something different about them, he could tell by their behaviour. With the help of his fellow Warblers, he was sure he'd be able to figure it out. Especially with a certain Warblers help.

Blaine set the bag down on Kurt's bed, pulling out the containers and handing Kurt his. Kurt was always so elegant and neat so it was kind of shocking to see him dig into his sandwich like a starving ape. While he was devouring his food, Blaine set his down on the desk instead of joining in and ran out of the room, leaving a very confused Kurt alone with half of his sandwich hanging out of his mouth.

Kurt continued to eat, but wouldn't take his eyes off of the door, wondering where his boyfriend had run off to. As if on cue, the boy returned, carrying in a wooden chair identical to the one they had in their room. He was about to open his mouth but before he could say anything, Blaine shushed him.

Once Kurt's sandwich was finished, there was a huge pile of blankets and pillows in the middle of the room. He watched in amusement as the other boy set up the fort. When it was complete, Blaine disappeared inside of it with his laptop and food. He peeked out and ushered Kurt to join.

He rolled his eyes but picked up his salad and crawled inside anyway. While he thought this was a really childish thing for Blaine to do, he couldn't deny that he was impressed. It was a pretty good fucking fort.

The boys ate their meals, cuddled, and watched a random movie Blaine had picked out until his laptop died. When it shut off, Blaine kicked it aside, along with their empty food containers. He stretched out carefully, not wanting to knock down the fort, and leaned against the pillows, pulling Kurt back with him. Kurt let out a kitten-like yawn and snuggled into Blaine's side, closing his eyes. Blaine smiled down at him fondly, kissing the top of the boy's head. He held him close and let his eyes fall shut as well, and soon both boys were sound asleep.

The next few weeks were great, amazing. The boys went around like normal, but now there was more kissing and cuddling and hand holding. They'd attempted to hide it from their friends, but that didn't last more than a couple of days. Elijah had walked in on them making out on Blaine's bed, and of course the news spread like a wild fire. Everyone, including the twins' dad knew about it.

While Burt was certain Blaine was good enough for Kurt, and that they both cared about each other, he still wanted him over for dinner. Just to scare him a little. Burt liked Blaine, he really did, he was a great kid, but it was a father's job to intimidate the new boyfriend.

When Friday came around, the boys packed up their things and headed back to Lima. Blaine was terrified and gripped Kurt's hand for his life on the ride back to the Hummel residence. He and Burt got along pretty well, but what if he thought he wasn't fit to be Kurt's boyfriend? What if he said something that turned him away, and he decided Blaine wouldn't be allowed to see Kurt anymore? He knew he was over-thinking, but he couldn't stop.

Kurt could sense his boyfriend's nervousness, so after gathering their bags he pulled him aside, lifting his chin up so that Blaine met his eyes. "Sweetie, there's nothing to worry about, okay? He likes you, you know that. You'll be okay," he assured, pecking Blaine's lips before they stepped inside.

Burt had already started on dinner before the two arrived, and Kurt had gradually taken over the kitchen, leaving his boyfriend and father alone in the living room.

Blaine was already uncomfortable enough, but he could feel Burt's gaze on him and had to resist the urge to squirm. He looked everywhere but at the man, his eyes flicking back and forth to the kitchen. He was grateful when Kurt called them in for dinner and it took everything in him not to sprint over to the boy. They entered the kitchen to find the table all set up and Kurt piling food on plates and filling up drinks.

Both him and Burt complimented the smell of the food as they sat down to actually taste it. The first half of the meal was pretty quiet, and awkward, to say the least. Finally Burt spoke up, eyes digging right into Blaine.

"So Blaine," he started, his voice gruff.

Blaine gulped, slowly looking up to meet his eyes. "Yes, sir?"

"No need to call me sir, kid."

"Sorry, Mr. Hummel."

"Burt."

Blaine nodded. "Right. Sorry."

Burt smiled slightly before putting his tough face back on. "I like you, Blaine, you're a great kid, and I can see that you care for my boy," he motioned towards their clasped hands, "but just know, if you ever hurt my son, I have a case full of guns downstairs."

Burt had excused himself when dinner was over. He had to be at the shop early the next morning and he needed to get some rest, especially with the long day he'd had today. He left the boys to finish cleaning up, but he peeked around the corner before heading upstairs for bed. He watched how Blaine was with Kurt, and how Kurt tried but failed to fight off a huge grin. His lips twitched and he shook his head slightly, climbing up the stairs. He was thankful that Kurt had found Blaine; he hadn't seen his boy this happy in a long time and he was glad the old Kurt was coming back.

While washing up the dishes, Blaine couldn't get what Burt had said during dinner. He dried off the plate that was in his hand and set it in the rack, turning to face Kurt.

"Does... does your dad really have guns?"

Kurt laughed and grabbed a cloth to dry his hands with. "No, Blaine, he was only saying that to scare you. Calm down, okay?" he placed his hands on either side of the boy's face, kissing him full on the mouth. "Now come on, let's go to bed."

Kurt linked his hand with Blaine's and led them upstairs to his room. They changed into their pajamas and settled into bed. They started to relax after a while and Kurt snuggled into Blaine's side as much as he possibly could, Blaine welcoming the boy gladly. They spent the rest of the night watching bad reality shows and making fun of the spoiled brats having a fit when they didn't get their way.

The next morning, Blaine woke up to an empty bed. He was disappointed, especially because he'd spent most of the night sleeping on the couch in Kurt's room so Burt wouldn't think they were doing anything they weren't supposed to. Of course they weren't though. Yeah, there was kissing, but most of their time was spent sleeping.

Blaine roamed the halls, calling out for his boyfriend. He'd stopped to use the bathroom before making his way downstairs and finding his companion in the kitchen. He had his back turned towards him, so as quietly as he could, he padded into the kitchen. His arms snaked around Kurt's waist and under his shirt, rubbing the bare skin gently. This earned a squirm and a giggle from Kurt and a smirk took over Blaine's face.

He rested his chin on Kurt's shoulder, tipping his head up so his lips were merely inches away from the boy's ear. "Ooh, someone's ticklish, huh?" and Kurt could practically feel the smirk in Blaine's voice, and he knew it was trouble.

"Don't you even da-BLAINE!" He was attacked by Blaine's hand, and Kurt was hunched over in laughter, his hands gripping his stomach. Oh, he was definitely going to get payback.

"B-Blaine, st... P-please, sto-o-o-op!" After hearing Kurt's plea, the boy backed off. He let Kurt catch his breath before picking him up and setting him down on the counter. He worked his way in between Kurt's legs, his hands resting on his waist. He spotted Kurt's face with kisses, making his way down to his neck where he started sucking gently. He licked the spot and pulled away before he could leave a mark, not wanting to risk having Burt see it. He knew that if Burt saw a glowing red hickey on Kurt's skin, he'd be done for.

Kurt slid off the counter and worked his way around the kitchen. He popped the bread in the toaster, finished cooking the eggs and pancakes, and poured glasses of juice. Blaine hopped up onto the counter in his place, watching Kurt cook in silence.

"I know you're staring at my ass, Anderson," Kurt commented, flipping the eggs onto their plates. Even though he couldn't see him, Blaine still blushed anyway from getting caught in the act. He tried to think of how Kurt would even know he was staring, but when he really thought about it, he was kind of burning a hole in Kurt's back.

The boys took their time eating, and feeling lazy, Kurt just tossed the dirty plates and glasses in the dishwasher. After cleaning up, the boys found themselves lounging around in the living room, trying to think of things to do for the rest of the day. Blaine had his head resting on Kurt's lap with his legs stretched out over the arm of the couch while Kurt was messing with his curls. He yawned and let his eyes flutter shut, snuggling more into Kurt without actually having to change positions.

"We should just nap the entire day," Blaine suggested lazily. He knew Kurt would never go for it, but it sounded nice.

"It's only 10am, we are not going to sleep for the rest of the day."

"But Kuuuurt," he whined, "cuddles!"

Kurt smiled. He had to admit, cuddling did sound rather nice, but that's not what he wanted to do. Actually, he wasn't even sure what he wanted to do, but cuddling all day was definitely not it. "No, Blaine. Do you know how much we cuddle? It's a constant thing. You are the actual definition of cuddle whore."

Blaine jutted out his bottom lip and gave Kurt the best puppy dog look that he could — he even batted his eyelashes, but nope. He wasn't falling for it. Damn.

Eventually they ended back up in Kurt's room, searching through his record collection and doing crazy musical renditions. Kurt knew that his neighbours were probably getting tired of the noise, but he didn't care.

They stayed in their pajamas most of the day, only changing after lunch when they decided to go out driving. It was a nice day, the nicest day of the entire year so far, and both of them agreed that the house was starting to get stuffy.

So after finishing their food, they headed back upstairs to get dressed. Kurt took his own bathroom while Blaine went down the hall. Of course Kurt was still in the bathroom when Blaine came out; he always took forever. He seemed to be taking longer than usual now though, and Blaine was sure he'd be old and wrinkly at this rate.

"Kurt," he called, tapping on the door. "What the hell is taking you so long?"

The boy emerged seconds later, a bottle of sun screen in his hand. Blaine eyed the bottle, raising his eyebrow. "Do you really need all that lotion, Kurt? We're not even getting out of the car..."

"Bite me, hobbit," he spat, pushing past him to get his shoes.

They drove around for what seemed like hours. It probably had been hours, actually, but they enjoyed themselves. They did get lost a few times on Blaine's accord — the boy had absolutely no sense of direction. They made it back to Lima eventually, and got home just in time for Kurt to start dinner.

It was still nice out once dinner was over, so Burt treated them all to ice cream. Kurt was hesitant at first, but Blaine got him to loosen up. He was glad he did, though. Burt took them to a shop right across the street from the park. They sat outside, watching all of the dogs and kids running around happily.

Burt had left once they all finished up, leaving the boys since they'd decided to hang out at the park for a while. They found an empty spot and plopped down on the ground. Blaine had been smart enough to bring a jacket so he set it down, making sure Kurt wasn't sitting on the grass.

"Such a gentleman," he praised, kissing him quickly.

The spot they'd picked was perfect to watch the sunset, so they sat back and watched as the darkness gradually took over. Since they were right in the city, it was too bright to see any stars, so they decided to head back home.

When they got back and into bed, neither could get the events of the day out of their heads. It hadn't been too exciting, but they didn't mind. It was perfect to them and that was all that mattered.
