Blaine slammed his fist down on the table, causing everyone in the cafe to stare at him. But he didn't care. He just wanted to take back what he'd said earlier, about the engagement. Why was he so stupid? He wanted to get to know Kurt, not make him run off and cry. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, enveloping his face in his hands.
What was he going to do? Right now, he hated himself. And he hadn't told Wes or David about going back and seeing Kurt again, so he had no one to talk to about it. He wondered what was going to happen tomorrow, when Sebastian comes back from his trip and notices Blaine hadn't changed, and after the events of today, he'd gotten worse.
He took a few minutes to get himself calmed down before he rushed out of the coffee shop.

Kurt somehow managed to make it home, and he walked inside to find Rachel pouring herself a cup of coffee in the kitchen. He stood in the doorway, his satchel hanging loosely off his shoulder, threatening to slip off at any moment.
He sniffled, and Rachel set her cup down, looking up at her best friend. His eyes were puffy and red from crying so much, and his nose was running, his shirt stained with tears. Rachel immediately pulled the boy into her arms, leading them both over to the couch.
She waited until Kurt was cried out and lifted his chin up. "Kurt... what happened?" she wondered, rubbing his back soothingly.
Kurt hiccuped, wiping at his eyes before opening his mouth to speak. "He's engaged, Rach," he choked out, tears threatening to fall again. "But he was flirting with me... and he clearly knew it," he continued. "I-I just don't... understand. Why would he knowingly flirt with me if he's engaged? Maybe I was wrong about him. I just... don't know what to do. Or think."
Rachel's face softened as Kurt explained what had happened. She felt a mix of emotions come over her — she wanted to slap this Blaine boy, then she wanted to hunt him down and give him a stern lecture. And then she wanted to slap him again. But right now she did what she needed to do. Which was to comfort Kurt.
"Come on," she said, grabbing Kurt's hand and lifting him off the couch, "let's go stuff our faces with ice cream and stare at Ryan Gosling."
Kurt's lips twitched into a smile at the mention of ice cream and Ryan Gosling. As he headed to his room to grab the movie and get it set up, Rachel made her way to the kitchen, grabbing two spoons and a carton of cookie dough ice cream.

On his way home, Blaine tried texting Kurt, though he'd gotten no response and he really didn't expect one. His fist was still throbbing from when he'd punched the table at the coffee shop, and he almost wanted to slam his head against the wall for being so stupid.
He was starting to think Kurt liked him, but after he'd blurted out he was engaged, he had no idea how he felt. And he might not ever find out, because there's a possibility that Kurt was never going to talk to him again.
He spent the next few hours pacing his living room, then tuning his guitar for a distraction. He finally gave up when he found himself going through a handful of quarters to see what state they had on them. He grabbed his phone, typing out a text to Wes.
Wes. It's urgent. Get over here right away. And bring alcohol. Lots of it.
Blaine rarely ever drank, mostly only when Sebastian forced him to go to a bar. But right now, he didn't care. He wanted Kurt to respond to his texts or voicemails, so he could explain himself, but he didn't. And who knows what would go on when Sebastian got home on Sunday. So, yeah. He needed the alcohol. Desperately.

The next morning Blaine found himself hungover. Badly. He attempted to get out of bed for some water and aspirin, but that wasn't going to happen. Every time he tried to move, a wave a nausea would wash over him and he grabbed for the bucket Wes had given him before leaving.
He groaned at the too bright sunlight seeping through the blinds and curtains, and he pulled his pillow over his head, the blanket quickly being pulled over top of that as well, and he mumbled something incoherent as his face was shoved into his sheets.
He'd fallen asleep again, though his head was pounding tremendously. After a few more hours, he slowly lifted his head up, eyes wandering over to the clock which read 2:30pm.
Sebastian was going to be back at 5, and the thought made him want to bury his head back in the pillow and blankets. He knew he couldn't do that, though, and he forced himself to roll out of bed. He wasn't as dizzy as earlier, but he had to grab for his dresser to keep himself steady.
He walked slowly towards the bathroom, groaning the whole way down the hallway. He filled up a cup of water and swallowed two pills before wandering back to bed.
The first thing he did was check his phone for messages or texts, but there were none. He sighed, desperately wishing Kurt would talk to him. But he could understand why he was ignoring him. He'd ignore himself too if he'd been in that situation. "Hey, I think you're starting to fall for me, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I'm engaged." Yeah. Way to go, Anderson.
He pulled his pillow into his arms, cradling it and staring at the wall as he waited for Sebastian to return.

When Kurt woke up, he had no idea what time it was. He did know, however, that he'd woken up on the couch, falling asleep in the middle of the third movie of his and Rachel's "hot guy movie marathon", as she'd claimed.
He tossed the blanket aside and sat up straight, sitting there for a few moments before standing up and walking to the kitchen to make a cup of tea.
He sipped the drink slowly, setting it down on the table before rummaging through his bag to make sure his dad hadn't tried to get a hold of him. Instead of seeing any messages from his father, his turned on his phone to see 15 new texts and 2 voicemails from Blaine.
He scoffed, deleting them all without listening to or reading any of them. He didn't care. Well, he did care, he just wasn't showing any hints of it.
He pulled out a chair at the kitchen table and sat down, rubbing his temple. Why did Blaine do that? They were laughing and flirting, and Kurt really thought something could happen between them when BAM! Blaine bursts out claiming that he's engaged.
When Rachel woke up, she tried to get Kurt to shower and get dressed so that they could go shopping, to get his mind off of Blaine, but he refused. Instead, he grabbed his tea, which was now starting to get cold, and trudged to his room, locking himself inside, still trying to make sense of why Blaine had done what he did, though hours later, he still had no conclusion.
He ended up curling up against his pillow, when he admitted defeat in trying to come up with a reason for Blaine's actions, and fell into a dreamless sleep.

Blaine's head was still pounding when Sebastian arrived. He took another aspirin and downed a glass of water, returning back to the bed for a cuddle session. Right now, what felt good and took his mind off of Kurt and his headache was being in Sebastian's arms.
The cuddle session was cut short. One, because Sebastian suggested they go out to a club, and two, he wasn't much of a cuddler anyway, much to Blaine's dismay.
Blaine did not feel like going to a club. He wanted to stay curled up in bed and eat a bowl of cereal, not go out dancing and possibly get drunk again. But Sebastian always got what he wanted. That's how he and Blaine had ended up engaged.
So of course, Blaine had given into the boy. But he was really starting to re-think a lot of things as he sat in the corner of the club in the back, watching as his fiance got drunk. And grinded against other guys. And this continued going on until, with a lot of resistance, Blaine forced Sebastian into a cab.
"Let's have sex!" Sebastian shouted drunkenly halfway back to the apartment.
Blaine's eyes widened at the suggestion, and he clamped his hand over the boy's mouth.
"Sebastian," he scolded. "We are in a cab, we are not having sex. And besides, you're drunk," he said quietly, but harshly.
Sebastian pouted, but only for a moment. Then his expression turned to anger. He slowly sat up and extended his arms, pushing Blaine into the cab door. "I want to have sex. And I want to have it right now. And who are you to deny me that, Anderson?" he growled.
Blaine just stared, not moving even after he was shoved into the cab door. Not even after he felt the bruise forming on his shoulder. He just continued staring, his eyebrows knitted together, but the look on his face unreadable.
"Oh, I don't know, maybe your fiance?" Blaine finally spat.
"Yeah?" Sebastian challenged. And they were silent until the next time the cab stopped, and Sebastian pushed the door open, staggering out of the car drunkenly and down the sidewalk to who knows where, leaving Blaine to stare after him, just like he'd done before Sebastian took off on his trip.
Comments
Sebastian seems very manipulative. I hope Blaine gets out of this relationship before it's to late. I'm curious as to how he's finally going to get Kurt to listen to him. Can't wait for more.
Yeah, he comes off as manipulative in the show, and to me even more so if he were in a relationship. But ahh! Thank you so much! I'm working on the next chapter now. :)
