"Daddy can we get some ice cream?! Pretty please?" The 4 year old pleaded. She was on the shoulders of her dad Blaine. She tugged gently on his black curly hair. as she pointed to the ice cream stand down at the other end of the park.
"Well I suppose but a certain four year old hasn't givin her dad a hug in an awful long time... I would get her two scoops if she came down from up there and gave her dads a big hug." Blaine hinted to his daughter and smiled at Kurt. He lifted the four year old off of his shoulders as she wrapped her arms around his legs. As she let go she motioned for him to pick her up. He swooped her up in his arms and wispered in her ear to go give her other dad a great big hug then they would go get ice cream.
The little girl skipped over as her pink flowery dress bounced along with her. "Daddy can I have a hug and kiss please?" She looked up at Kurt who couldn't help but smile.
"Wow! I hug and a kiss, just for me?!!" He said to her with a smile. The four year old nodded as she extended her arms out. Kurt grabbed her by the waist and hoisted her above his head before kissing her nose and she returned the kiss with one on the cheek. He wrapped her in his arms and she gave him a tight hug that lasted for a few moments.
Kurt glanced at Blaine who was just looking at him with his big hazel eyes and he knew exactly what he was thinking. How are we so lucky to have a daughter like her? Kurt wondered the same thing and knew that they were the luckiest parents on Earth.
"Alright Rosalie, are you ready for some icecream?" Kurt asked his daughter as she pulled out of the hug.
"Yeah! Lets go!! Can I sit on your shoulders this time daddy?" She asked Kurt.
"Well of course you can! Point me in the right direction I'll be your noble steed" Blaine chuckled at the remark of his husband.
"What's a steed?" Rosalie chuckled.
"It's a horse but a real specail one only for princesses and princes." Blaine explained.
"Exactly. So I'll be your steed and you can be my princess. Our mission is to get delicous ice cream!" Rosalie laughed as she wrapped her arms around Kurt's neck.
"Giddy up!" She yelled as she dug her heels into Kurts side.
Kurt galloped with Rosalie on his shoulder and the giggled and laughed. Kurt made horse noises as he trotted down the sidewalk.
"Whoaaaa slow down horsey! What happened to dada? We left him behind!" She exclaimed when she turned he head around to see her dad was far behind them
"Well why don't you go to dada and I'll get you ice cream. Two scoops of Vanilla?"
"Yup!" She answered as she trotted back to Blaine making horse noising neighing all the way. He laughed at the sight of her horse impression and she giggled running straight to him and into his arms. He spun her around in the air and asked what kind of ice cream she got.
"Vanilla! Two scoops just like you said!"
"Oh boy are you sure you can eat all that, because if you can't I'd gladly help you finish it."
"Don't worry I'll give you a bite." She chuckled. They walked hand in hand back to Kurt who was just paying for the ice creams. Kurt handed Rosalie her Ice cream cone and Blaine his coffee ice cream cone, as he licked his strawberry cone.
"Where shall we sit? Wanna go to the picnic tables or we can sit on the bench?"
"Lets sit at the tables!" Rosalie said as she ran to a table next to a big oak tree. Kurt sat on the left side of Rosalie and Blaine sat next to Kurt. They were a happy little family and it couldn't get any better than this.
Blaine laughed to himself at the sight of Rosalie with ice cream all over her face, he realized kurt wasn't any better. He had ice cream on the corner of his chin and obviously didn't notice. While Rosalie on the other hand had it all aroud her mouth and a dab on her nose.
"What's so funny?" Kurt asked with confusion. Blaine was getting having too much fun at the sight of Rosalies ice cream face and then the ice cream on Kurt's.
"Rosy's face it's too cute look at all the ice cream! You little piggy you!" He laughed as he turned to Rosalie.
Kurt chuckled and then wiped her face with a napkin. She squirmed as he wiped the sticky ice cream off her face and then as soon as it was over she returned to her ice cream. Blaine just kept on laughing because his husband still didn't notice.
"What is so funny come on Blaine!" He laughed with him. Blaine's laugh was infectious.
"You've got a little ice cream of your own, right there and there and here!!" He said as he dabbed his icre cream cone on the tip of his nose. Kurt gasped at the cold of the ice cream on his nose against his hot skin.
"Blaine!!! You did not just do that! You're gunna get it!!" He screamed to Blaine. Kurt jumped off the bench and chased Blaine over the whole park people watched but they didn't care. Rosy was sitting at the table just laughing like there was no tomorrow at the sight of her dads.
"Get him daddy!" Rosy yelled giggling.
Kurt chased him back to the table when Blaine swooped Rosy into his arms as a sheild.
"Would you really want to take this out on your own innoccent daughter?" He asked holding Rosy up in front of his face so he wouldn't tackle him.
Instead Kurt just got him from behind and put his ice cream cone on his head. He instantly knew that what he had done would either end up in laughter or he had just started a food fight.
Blaine's eyes widened as he let the ice cream drip down his face. He set Rosy gently and pulled the ice cream cone off his head and then stuck it in Kurt's nose and then his entire nose was pink with strawberry ice cream.
"Okay! Okay! Truths truths!!" Kurt squealed.
"Fine truths. We better go before I shove another ice cream in your face. You ready Rose?" Blaine asked as he asked while wiping the sticky ice cream off his face. She nodded her head and took Blaine's hand as they walked back to the car.
When they got home Rosalie had fallen asleep in her carseat on the way home. Kurt picked her up and she rested her head in the crook of his neck as they went inside and up stairs to her bedroom. Blaine opened up the sheets as Kurt laid her down gently on the bed. The tucked her in and gave her a kiss on the forehead.
Blaine headed straight for the bathroom to take a shower and wash the ice cream out of his curly hair. While kurt washed his face and then set up the coach for a movie. He popped in When Harry met Sally and popped some popcorn. As he transferred the popcorn into a bowl Blaine came downstairs all clean and looked just like new. Kurt felt kinda bad maybe he pushed it a little but he knew Blaine wasn't mad.
"Hey gorgeous, you good as new." He joked with Blaine. Blaine just laughed and asked what was the movie for?
"Well I thought I'd apologize for ruining your perfect curls I know how sensitive you are about your hair." Kurt said as sitting on the coach with a bowl of popcorn and patted the seat next him jesturing for him to sit.
"Well apology accepted." He said snuggling as close as possible to Kurt. He rested his head on Kurt's shoulder and sighed. They hadn't had that much fun in a long time. It might have been messy but it sure was fun.
"You know as messy as that might have been I had a lot of fun." He said looking up at Kurt.
"Mmm it was fun it's funny to watch you run around a park chasing after me like teenagers." Kurt chuckled to himself and kissed Blaine, who was surprised at first but settled in and deepend kiss by placing his hand on Kurt's cheek. Eventually they parted in need for air. He hadn't realized how long the kiss was untill he was out of breath.
"What was that for?" Blaine asked gasping for air.
"Just because I love you and today just reminded me how much I really love you and can't bare to be apart from you." Kurt said looking straight into Blaine's eyes. Blaine was now sitting up straight looking back at Kurt in adorment.
Blaine went in for another kiss which wasn't as long but was just as good. His lips were so soft and tasted of the coffee ice cream he had at the park.
"I love you too." He said as they parted.
Comments
let's see here...the 4 year-old is acting more mature than the two men who call themselves her fathers. yep, situation normal!
Was that an insult or were you joking around?
definitely joking around. i was just referring to the scene in the park when kurt was chasing blaine and rosalie was just sitting there eating her ice cream. it was not my intent to offend or insult.
Oh okay thank you I'm glad you liked it! :)
