Kurt looked at her, turning white as a ghost. "What's wrong."

"I have to inform you, that you mother is in a hospital. She was attacked by someone last night and was close to dying. She was lucky someone found her.Now she is in coma."

"W-What?" Kurt asked, his knees turning soft.

Kurt was about to fall, but as always Blaine caught him.

"Why would someone do this?" Kurt whispered.

"I dunno, Mr. Hummel. If you want to you can leave here tommorrow and go home to see your Mother. Only if you have someone to stay with you though. Where does your father live?"

"He passed away." Kurt said leaning into Blaine for support.

"Is it possible for me to go with him?" Blaine asked. "Kurt could stay with my Brother and I. He is 24 so he could supervise us."

"That might work if your brother wants to do this. But I have to go now. Come to my room after dinner so we can talk everything through. I'm really sorry Mr Hummel."

The minute the woman walked away Kurt couldn't hold back his tears anymore. He clung to Blaine and cried into his shirt.

"It's gonna be okay. She'll be allright." Blaine said stroking his boyfriend's hair. "She is all I have. She always was the only person to care about me I can't lose her. I can't." Kurt sobbed.

"I know, baby, I know. But she is gonna make it. We'll get through this together okay?"

Blaine said. "I don't want you to give up on your holidays because of me."

"But I want you to be okay. I couldn't care less about my holidays right now. I love you. Don't ever forget that."

"I love you too." Kurt sobbed.

Blaine couldn't believe that this had to happen to Kurt of all people. He knew that his boyfriend had been through too much already and adding the possible loss of his second parent to the list wasn't making the situation any better.

Kurt sat down on the bed and Blaine just held him for a while. After Kurt calmed down, Blaine started packing. Kurt looked at Blaine from his place on the bed. "You really don't have to do this Blaine." He said.

"I will do this, not because I feel like I have to but because I want to."

"Thank you." Kurt said. "For everything you did."

"I didn't do anything. No need to thank me."

Kurt smiled sadly. Blaine did so much. He talked to him. He made him feel loved and cared for and everytime his world was ripped apart a little more Blaine would pick up the pieces and put them back together. "Just thank you."

Kurt said. He couldn't express how much Blaine meant to him. Blaine looked up from his suitcase moved towards Kurt and took his hands. "Kurt, you don't have to thank me for anything. I'm your boyfriend and I wanna see you happy. So it's a win win situation if you are happy."

Kurt smiled a little. Blaine was the only one who was able to make him smile even if he felt like shit.

"Should I help you pack your stuff as well?"

Kurt just nodded got up from the bed and started putting everything in his suitcase.

By the time they were finished it was time for dinner.

"C'mon.We're gonna get some dinner and then we can go back here and sleep after we talked to Mrs Medlock about your departure. I will explain the others what happened if you want me to." Blaine said. He stood up and pulled Kurt to his feet softly.

"I wanna say goodbye to them. They are the only friends I've ever had to be honest except you of course."

"Sure. They live in Westerville as well so you will see them again in no time."

Kurt nodded, he didn't feel like talking even though it was Blaine he was talking to.

He thought about his Mom and why someone would do such a terrible thing to her. Before he realized it there were tears running down his cheeks again. "Hey, shhh." Blaine whispered. "It's gonna be allright. She will be fine, Kurt."

Blaine took Kurt's hand and pulled him down the hallway towards the dining hall.

They sat down at the table with Wes, David, Jeff and Nick silently.

"What's up?" David asked noticing the way Kurt just stared at his food not eating it. Since Blaine and Kurt got together Kurt had always eaten. Not much but something.

Blaine explained the situation shortly. Everyone told Kurt they were sorry and Nick gave Kurt a hug. Blaine told them they were going to go back to Ohio so Kurt could be with his mother and that they would leave the next morning,

Everyone nodded understandingly. "Baby, you have to eat." Blaine said as he watched Kurt just starring at his food.

"I'm not hungry." Kurt said out of habit. His old excuse for not eating.

"Okay. I know that you probably don't feel like eating anything but this might be your last real meal before we have to get on the plane and I don't want you to get sick."

"I'm sorry. I just can't eat now."

"Don't apologize. It's okay. I didn't want to push you or anything."

Kurt leaned into Blaine thankfully that he seemed to understand.

Kurt and Blaine went upstairs to see Mrs Medlock 10 minutes later. She told them that she booked a flight back for them and that Cooper would be able to take care of them during their stay in Ohio. They would leave at 6 am the next day.
