Kurt happily took Blaine's hand and they went down to the hall.

"Hey Blaine. When are you gonna tell us your boyfriends name, huh?" the blonde guy they had met at the airport said as they entered the hall.

"Unfortunatly I have to repeat myself; He isn't my boyfriend yet, but his name is Kurt."

"Hey Kurt. Nice to meet you." Kurt shyly extended a hand for the stranger to take but he ignored it hugging Kurt right on the spot. Kurt blushed wildly and took a step back to Blaine.

"Jeff, are you scaring people again?" Nick asked, who sat on the table behind them.

"Nope, just greeting Blaine's favourite boy."

"Ahh allright. C'mon join us."

Jeff turned around "Hey" he said loudly. "This is Kurt, everyone. In my opinion he is soon gonna be Blaine's boyfriend because Blaine stares at him with heart-eyes everywhere he goes. So we better all be nice to him."

Kurt blushed even more and hid behind Blaine as much as possible.

"Aww, look at them. They are so cute." David, the guy Kurt had switched seats with on the plane, said.

Kurt didn't know he could turn any redder but now he definitly was.

"Don't be shy. They won't bite you, I promise, I won't let them." Blaine whispered in Kurt's ear. Making the others go "awww".

"God, guys stop it." Blaine said, sounding not even half as angry as he wanted to, but he couldn't help it. He certainly hoped Jeff was right with Kurt soon being his boyfriend. Blaine knew he had already fallen for him. And Kurt's adorable shyness wasn't making Blaine liking him less. It was more having the opposite effect.

Also Blaine had a feeling that Kurt didn't make good experiences before nor that he really had many friends. Don't get him wrong it wasn't like Kurt didn't deserve friends, hell, he deserved the best friends in the world but he didn't seem to have made good experiences when it came to human interactions. Blaine hoped he would be able to help Kurt. He wanted to help him. Wanted Kurt to open up to him so Blaine could do something about whatever troubled that boy.

Blaine woke up that night to the sound of sobbing. He turned around, and saw Kurt crying in his bed. Kurt sat on the bed his arms hugging his knees and it looked as if he was trying to hold himself together, with so much force that it seemed like Kurt was afraid of falling apart if he stopped holding his knees.

"Kurt? What's wrong?" Blaine asked into the darkness. Only a bit of moonlight lit up the room.

"N-no-nothing." came the shaky answer.

Blaine got out of his bed and sat down next to Kurt putting his arms around him.

Kurt's temperature shocked him. He felt cold as ice.

"Kurt, What's up?"

"I'm fine." Kurt lied. Obviously he wasn't but he just couldn't tell Blaine he was afraid of the darkness because it had caused him to be vulnerable once. Too vulnerable.

The blue-eyed boy leaned into Blaine. Blaine cradled him for a while.

"C'mon, you can tell me."

"You will laugh."

"I promise I won't. Please, just tell me so we can find a solution."

Kurt hid his face in Blaine's T-shirt. "I'm afraid of darkness", he mumbled.

"That's nothing to be ashamed of. I don't like it either. It makes me feel vulnerable."

"Yeah" Kurt whispered. "It does."

"Well, C'mon, I'll show you something I found yesterday, just so you can calm a little."

Blaine wrapped both arms around Kurt's slim waist, feeling the hip bones.

He lead the blue-eyed boy to the ladder, leading to the attic.

Blaine climbed up there, extending a hand to Kurt to help him up as well.

When Kurt was upstairs, Blaine didn't hesitate to wrap his arms around Kurt, to keep his boy warm.

Blaine lead them towards a small door at the end of the room. He opened it and a small staircase came in the boys' view.

They climbed up the stairs and stood on a terrace.

Kurt thought it was the most beautiful thing, he had ever seen.

"Wow" he said.

"I know, huh?" Blaine said. "Come here." he pulled Kurt to the edge. Kurt looked at the sky the moon making him look paler and more beautiful than ever. Blaine couldn't help but stare at Kurt's beauty. He turned to look at Blaine, his eyes reflecting the moonlight.

"You're beautiful." Blaine whispered, without realizing what he said.

"No, I'm not. Noone wants me." Kurt said, his eyes turning sad.

"I want you." Blaine said, causing Kurt to look at him as if he'd just told him he invented mobile phones.

"More than anything, I want to make you happy, make you smile and blush and I wanna be there for you and hold you when you are sad. I know, we've just met but I feel like I've seen you somewhere before. Kurt, you are a beautiful person, inside and out."

Kurt looked down, blushing wildly.

Since he had been a little boy noone had ever accepted him for who he was. He had always dreamed of finding someone who would say excatly those things to him.
