Author's Notes: Well, my lovelies, our tale has reached its end. This will be the end chapter to my very first fan fiction. I must say, I really am touched by everything you readers have done for me.Even though this story is finished, does not mean that I am finished writing fan fiction. Nope, not at all. In fact, you can expect another story to come out within the next few weeks...depending on how bad school will kick my ass.I hope that I did the last part justice! If I failed to mention this, I will now: this story involves a Kurt and Blaine that are both in the senior years at high school. Sorry if I forgot to say that!
Blaine was released from the hospital a week later after receiving news from the doctor that he would only need a speedy recovery for him to leave. Of course, Kurt had been the one with him from beginning to end, and he insisted that he also be the one to drive Blaine home. Even though Blaine's father had come to apologize, Blaine still felt uneasy with the idea that he would go home to him. He wanted to be insured that he would be safe, at least until he got off of his pain meds. So, until that time came, he was going to have to live with Kurt and his father.

"I need you to sign right here on the dotted line," Dr. Boyd said to Kurt, pointing to Blaine's release forms, "since you're the one who's bringing him home."

"Of course I am," Kurt said, looking at his beloved.

Blaine was sitting on the edge of his former hospital bed, dressed in street clothes for the first time in over a month. Kurt missed Blaine's bowties and his exposed ankles. He also, for the first time in what seemed to be ever, missed his hair gel.

As Kurt signed his name on the respected line, Blaine stood up with his bags, wincing as the pain from his neck was still present. He placed his hand on his boyfriend's shoulder as he gave the papers to his doctor.

"Well," Dr. Boyd said, "you remember all that I have told you. Make sure to contact me in the event anything unusual happens. Take care of yourself, boys!"

With that, the doctor left, leaving the two boys alone. Kurt took in a deep breath with a smile before looking up the younger boy. He stood up and wrapped his arms around his neck as he peppered his face with kisses.

"I am so glad you're doing better," Kurt said.

"Not as glad as I am," Blaine said.

"Highly unlikely," Kurt quipped.

Blaine muffled a laugh before he went in to give his boyfriend a kiss. Every time they kissed, Blaine thought, it felt like their first. Butterflies always went crazy in his abdomen, making it difficult to breathe. It was like a high that he never wanted to get off of. Needless to say, Blaine thought that Kurt could suffice alone for his pain rather than the medication.

When the need for air became too much, they reluctantly pulled apart, giving each other Eskimo Kisses as they went back into their personal bubbles.

Kurt grabbed Blaine's hands before he asked, "Do you have everything?"

"Yes, sweetie," Blaine said as he brushed his other hand across Kurt's flushing cheek. He leant in and gave him a quick kiss on the blush that formed on his face before continuing, "Now, let's get out of here. I now have an irrational hatred towards hospitals."

Kurt giggled before exiting the room's door, hand in hand with his one and only.

As Kurt walked over to the passenger side of his car to open up the door for Blaine, he grabbed the suitcase from the curly haired boy's hands.

"What do you think you're doing?" Blaine asked, grin spreading across his face.

"I'm stealing your bags and throwing them off the nearest bridge," Kurt replied sarcastically before closing the truck door for his boyfriend.

The truck that they had been in during the accident suffered a number of damages, so Burt made sure to rent Kurt a new truck until his own got out of the shop.

Kurt galloped lightly to the bed of the truck and placed Blaine's luggage towards the side, strapping it in to the clasps that made sure the bag did not fly out while they were driving. He got to the driver's side, slipped in, and buckled his seat belt. After he turned the ignition on, he turned to Blaine.

"Are we going to crash again?" Blaine asked.

"I hope not," Kurt said, rolling his eyes. He went to flick the switch on the radio, before Blaine's hand stopped him. "What's wrong?"

"I just want to enjoy the silence," Blaine said staring deep into Kurt's blue orbs. "I just want to hold your hand, peppering it with kisses. We owe ourselves at least that."

"You're right," Kurt said, grabbing Blaine's hand over the console. "I love you so much."

"I love you, too, baby," Blaine said. The crooked smile that Kurt fell in love with began to form on his face. Kurt blushed dramatically and leant in to kiss the corner of his lips before turning the car into drive and backing out of the parking lot.

Blaine knew that Kurt had a welcome home party waiting for both of them when they arrived home, but Kurt did not know all that Blaine had planned for him. He had thought so long about this decision, and he knew what he was going to do. He had invited his family over to the house, with Burt's permission. Everyone knew what Blaine was going to do. All he needed was Burt's blessing, and he gave it to him in a heartbeat. This is happening, Blaine thought as he reached his hand into his pocket, playing with the velvet box. He lifted Kurt's knuckles up to his lips and kissed them gently. He hoped that he would do that forever.

As the car pulled into the parking lot, Kurt let out a breath he wasn't aware that he was holding in. "We're alive," Blaine said, raising his triangular eyebrows in amusement.

Kurt giggled and nodded his head. He took his key out of the ignition before he ran over to Blaine's side and opened the door for him. "We'll get your bag out in an hour or two. They've been waiting too long," he said, picking up his wrist to glance at his watch. It read three o'clock. Burt had told him that he told everyone to arrive at one o'clock.

After Blaine slightly jumped out of the car, he locked hand with Kurt before closing his door. As they walked closer to the front door, Blaine's heart began to race. What if he says no? What if runs away crying? What if he breaks up with me? Blaine's mind began to race in sync with his heartbeat with what ifs. Before he could speak, Kurt was already opening the mahogany door.

They were greeted with a loud shriek from Rachel, and numerous claps from everyone else in the room. Blaine was not surprised, he had told everyone what was happening, and they did not want to miss it for the world.

He scanned the room. He saw a few of his closest Warbler friends in one corner soliciting with a few members from the New Directions. Everyone was spread out in the room. The only thing that surprised Blaine was that he saw his father and mother talking with Burt in a calm and peaceful tone. They all glanced up before running towards the two teenage boys with open arms.

"I missed you so much, kiddo," Burt screamed, hugging his son tightly.

"Blaine!" his mother shouted, hugging her son tightly around the neck.

"Watch it, Mom," he said. "My neck still hurts!"

"My poor baby! Let Mommy kiss it, and make it feel better!"

Blaine allowed his mother's nonsense because he missed her. He knew more than anything that she missed him too. His father walked up and hugged his son tightly, "I missed you, son!"

Blaine felt like he was home again. There were no more burdens or skeletons in the closet. Most importantly, they realized that there were no regrets. After all that had happened, it ended up working out for the better.

After all of them greeted each other, Kurt and Blaine separated, agreeing that they needed some time to talk to their friends, since they haven't seen them in a while.

Blaine walked into the kitchen, his Warbler friends, Nick and Jeff, following behind.

"Oh my gosh!" Jeff screamed, jumping up and down.

"When are you going to do it, Blaine?" Nick asked.

"I don't have a clue," Blaine said, shaking his head. He had gotten a bottle of root beer earlier, and was now downing it like it was alcohol. "What if he says no?"

"Blaine," Nick said, grabbing onto his friend's shoulder, "have you seen the way that boy looks at you? How much you make him smile?"

"I swear," Jeff joined in, "the day he first came to Dalton he couldn't stop talking about you. He admitted he was in love with you not even a week after he met you for God's sake!"

"You're right," Blaine said, smiling. "I can do this. Let's do this!"

The two boys shouted in approval, patting him on his back.

Blaine entered the living room and clapped his hands, "Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to have everyone's attention."

Kurt looked at him and smiled. What's going on, Kurt thought.

"Kurt, sweetie, could you come here for a minute?" Blaine asked.

Kurt nodded and went to his boyfriend's side, everyone in the room silent, waiting for the big announcement that they all knew was coming.

The people who surround the couple had backed up to give them some room.

Blaine took Kurt's hands in his and he took a deep breath. "Kurt, I have been trying to figure out what I would tell you when this moment came." He looked up into Kurt's blue eyes, and smiled. "Everything about you is absolutely perfect, Kurt. The way you laugh, the way you talk, the way you always put others before yourself. But, the one thing that made me fall deeply and utterly in love with you was the courage you have. You stand up so much for what you believe in. When I told you that you moved me, Kurt, I met that with all of my heart. Until I met you, I was in such a dark place. When you came, it was like everything in the world became a whole lot brighter."

Kurt's jaw dropped slightly, tears forming at the edges of his eyes, making his cerulean eyes sparkle in the light. Blaine noticed that his eyes looked identical to an exploding star. He will never cease to be beautiful. Blaine reached into his pocket and knelt down on one knee, holding Kurt's left hand in his.

Kurt's breath caught in his throat. The tears began to fall, and he couldn't stop the smile on his face.

"Kurt, I love you so much that it scares me sometimes. When I met you, I finally understood what people meant about love. I never want to leave you, stop caring for you, or stop kissing your soft and beautiful lips." Kurt began to blush, "and that blush that always forms on your cheeks when you get embarrassed is just one of the millions of things that I love about you. Kurt, you mean so much to me. I will stay with you until you don't want me anymore, and even then, it will still be hard to get rid of me."

Kurt giggled before Blaine released his hand and opened up the blue velvet box, revealing a beautiful silver band, with diamonds forming into wonderful swirls around the center, which was a larger diamond. He took the ring out, and placed the box by his foot.

He took Kurt's hand again and raised the ring with his other, "Kurt Elizabeth Hummel, will you make me the happiest man in this entire world, and do me the honor of becoming my husband?" Kurt's jaw slacked again.

"Kurt Hummel, will you marry me?"

End Notes: ***The sequel has now been put up, but please know that it is rated M, so if that's not your cup of tea, I am deeply sorry***
