So, Im going to try to upload every 2 or 3 days with this because now Ive said it, I will be forced to and I cant abbandon it.
And thank you for reading lovelies.
Emma now turned around and brought up a very official looking black box that had been hiding underneath her chair. She lifted it on to her lap and opened the lid. Reaching inside, she brought out a wiring netting that looked somewhat like the netting you buy satsumas in. It had small circular pads and strategic points on it. The headgear piece was attached by another cord to a small box with a three buttons on it. Emma then bent over Kurt and placed the headpiece on him. She put the control box in her lap, picked up her notebook and then relaxed into her chair.
“Now Kurt. Remember back to your sophomore year.” Kurt's subconscious mind was walking through the halls of McKinley. He was arm in arm with Mercedes Jones and walking to Glee club. “Tell me everything you see Kurt and what you are thinking about it.”
“I am walking to Glee club with Mercedes. I am happy. I love the Glee club. Finn, Puck and Mike just came in from another corridor and are walking in front of us. Finn looks so attractive from behind.” At those words Emma pressed the largest of three buttons on her control panel. It sent a small electric shock to Kurt's head. He stopped talking and his mouth hung open as if confused, although he was still in a deep trance.
“What were you saying Kurt.”
“Finn, Puck and Mike came in front of us from another corridor on the way to Glee club.”
“And what do you think about that, I mean their appearance?”
“They look hot, sweaty and disgusting; especially Finn. I mean doesn't he even know how to use a shower.” Kurt's hand then went up to move his hair back from across his face. It seemed to be a natural reflex for sophomore Kurt.
“Good Kurt, that's good. Now let me see,” Emma said as she turned a couple of pages through her notebook, which seemed to be a scarily accurate representation of Kurt's life. “Tell me about the relationship between yourself and Miss. Pierce.”
"Well I wanted to make my dad to be proud of me, so dated Brittney as a beard girl-friend. It only lasted a week, but she came around my house and my dad caught us making out in my room. It was really awkward, but I was kinda glad so he saw me with a girl." Kurts voice was evenly paced, with little emphasis on the words he spoke. He added, "That was before I came out to him."
And then Emma pressed her button again to shock him. This time Kurt didnt even flinch. The muscles in his faced relaxed and the spirit and hope from his eyes was beginning to fade. Emma could tell it was working. Kurt was being altered. It was a cure she had developed herself and she was quite proud of it. Because Kurt was underage, his legal guardian had to sign to say that him being tested on like this was ok. And Kurts uncle being his guardian, they didnt have much trouble in that area.
Thinking they had made plenty enough progress today, Emma chose to wake Kurt up at this point. She placed he notebook back in her bag and then stood up, putting the control panel on the chair behind her. She went over to Kurt and lifted the device of his head. She then put in back in its black box and stowed it away neatly in a corner.
She went back to Kurt and leant over him. "Now Kurt. Focus on my voice. I would like you to picture the stairs leading out of your bedroom in the basement. Now slowly walk up them, raising yourself out of your slumber and ready to start the day. Come back the world and be ready to become part of it."
Kurt awoke to a face full of the Emmas bright amber hair. He was very confused. His mind was muddled and everything was incredibly clouded. He felt like his past was meaningless. Nothing made sense. What had just happened? Did Emma just let him fall asleep for their session? He remembered having a dream. It was something to do with the year he joined the New Directions and he kept hearing Baby One More Time in his head. Why was Brittney there?
"You can go now Kurt. I think we made some great progress today." She stared at him with a sickening smile.
"Um, what exactly did we do?" He asked, genuinely curious because them making great progress may be good on the relationship with his uncle part, but anything that pleases his uncle would, by default, not please him.
"I just asked you a couple of questions and you answered whilst resting on the couch. Nothing out of the ordinary. Oh and one last question, describe Finn Hudson in one word for me. Actually, imagine your sophomore self; now answer the question." Kurt was intrigued by this question that appeared to come from nowhere and had no real link to anything.
"I guess sophomore me would have sad cute." He was worried about this answer but he wasnt going to lie about who he was or what he thought just because the bigoted people in his family didnt like it. And with that, he turned to leave, and as he did he just caught the look of annoyance on her face. It pleased him that she didnt like his answer and that it annoyed her.
When Kurt got back to his room to relax before lunch, he lay down on his bed and tried to remember what happened during that session. He shut his eyes and went through the events in chronological order to try and make sense of the clouded thoughts that were cluttering his brain. First," he thought, I went in and she told me to lie on the sofa. Then I was made to picture Dalton and the stairs that lead to my first meeting Blaine.
He paused there for a second. Blaine.
Then I shut my eyes and with each number she said I walked down a step towards him. Wait! Did she hypnotise me or something. Ok, am I still gay? I think so. Do I still love Blaine? Well, obviously. Ok no hypnotising. Calm down Hummel, they wouldnt do anything that crazy, would they? But what happened next. Finn. Something about Finn. No, that will be because she asked me when I left. And what the hell was that about.
He stopped thinking then. It was too tiring. Kurt stood up and walked over to his mirror. Staring blankly at his reflection he took in a few deep breaths examining his appearance. He had given up on hiding the bruises or making himself look decent a long time ago, but he still liked to see if there was anything worthwhile there. His hair was a gorgeous shade of brown, but it hung limply and the highlights had long since faded. His lips were quite nice, They would be nicer with Blaines on them, but they werent too badly damaged.
His right temple was still badly bruised from a couple of nights ago but there was something noticeably different about his eyes. He stared deeper, Dont blink, he thought so he could stare in them. There was something different; they had lost their sparkle. Well what did he expect being cooped up in here. He was so glad Blaine didnt have to see him like that. Blaines eyes were gorgeous. He would never forget their hazel sea, or what it was like swimming in them.
