When Everything is Broken

All of the plans he'd made, the tagging of his possessions, every goodbye he'd plotted in his head was gone. There was nothing. There was no more dream. Kurt felt empty.

Everything Changes
If Blaine had wanted him in his life he'd make the first move, he'd send a simple 'Hi' or 'Hello' or 'how are you?' and that first awkward step would be taken. Kurt could respond and then they could fall into whatever was to come. But nothing ever happened.
Walk Away
In a moment of desperation and, later admitted, weakness, Kurt had run out into the storm, chasing after Blaine, begging him not to do it. Kurt had pleaded with Blaine to take back his "I can't do this anymore." But Blaine only pulled himself from Kurt's grasp, hurried into his car, and took off into the stormy night.

He could deal with his own thoughts about Blaine. He could compartmentalize them into tiny little pieces that he could deal with. But having Blaine standing in the same room, not speaking, hardly looking at him, that was unbearable.
