Not the Perfect Family

While in Chicago for Nationals, a woman approaches New Directions seeking directions to the train station. The general assumption is that she is a tourist...until Blaine freaks out, which leads to Kurt learning more than he ever wanted to about Cooper and Blaine's childhood. TRIGGER WARNING: MENTIONS OF CHILD ABUSE. PLEASE DO NOT READ IF THAT BOTHERS YOU!!!

Author's Notes: The idea for this fic floated around in my head for a couple weeks toward the end of school -- It just would not leave me alone. So I wrote it down. contains some spoilers from episode 3x21: Nationals. turns AU afterward and completely disregards 3x22: Good-bye. As mentioned in the summary there is a trigger warning for this fic: child abuse. I will refrain from it being extremely graphic, as well as post warnings in the chapters the subject is mentioned. Disclaimer: I do not own Kurt Hummel, Blaine Anderson, Cooper Anderson, or any of the other characters from Glee. I do not own the song used in one chapter -- 'You'll Be in My Heart' by Phil Collins.

I have read this story before and I found myself hooked. Even with the content of abuse...you wrote this very well, and I enjoyed reading it.
