After Kurt and Blaine broke up, Blaine finally got the chance to see the world for himself and figure out who he was. During this time he realized that he really loves to wear clothing that is traditionally female (skirts, dresses, lace, etc.) Everyone at McKinley either pokes fun at him or doesn't take him seriously, thinking that he's just going through a weird phase. He's terrified to tell Kurt, thinking that he'll act the same, but when he finally gathers the courage to skype him, Kurt thinks his new style looks great. They eventually get back together, and even though Kurt's supportive, Blaine is still having a lot of trouble with his low self-esteem and bullying because of his clothes. Cue sweet sex with Kurt reassuring Blaine that he is absolutely beautiful, and that he loves him no matter what.
