Caged Bird Singing

In a world where everyone's either a dominant or a submissive, Kurt has never felt like a happily ever after was possible for a sub who didn't want to be one. Can a man with a mysterious past and a gentle touch teach him to see him self clear and love his own submission?

Author's Notes: Based on this prompt from gkm: In a world where people are born either doms or subs, Kurt Hummel is a sub that never really acts like it. He's superior and cold and not very obedient at all. He never acts like he's remotely interested in having a master, happy to keep his white collar and remain legally 'claimed' by his father. He's tried it before, the whole 'submission' thing...but the relationships never turned out very well.As far as subs go Kurt is considered extremely successful--in a world of dominants and submissives it is very difficult for a sub to stand up against them and make a name for his or herself, but he's steadily climbing the ranks of his career, and a lot of people in his business know him for it.Then Kurt meets Blaine Anderson, and for the first time in his life Kurt struggles with his natural instincts to submit to someone.I'd love to see angst, with Kurt resisting what is, in actually, his true desire, especially if he resists because he has a bad past with a previous dom that took things too far and didn't treat Kurt properly and pretty much lorded over him in every way. In the end though I want Kurt and Blaine to settle into a happy relationship, Kurt finding peace with his natural desire to submit.
