To Find Somebody
Blaine, the younger son of a wealthy London family, has his own idea of how the world should be and is going to fight to protect those he loves and make everyone's lives better. Set during the time of the WWII, this is a story of how an amazing person ahead of his age meets the one who can inspire, support, complete and love him, the one who'll join him in changing the world.
Author's Notes: Before we start, just a few clarifications: Don't expect linguistic and historical accuracy. Sorry! If those are things you really care about, you should probably not read this story. The course of history might be changed a little, to accommodate for some storylines. I certainly won't be trying to be grossly inaccurate, though. So do let me know, if there is a specific historical fact I didn't get right which, if changed, would not affect the story negatively. What you can expect from 'To Find Somebody' is character, story, emotions and some thoughts on war, equality and all the horrors of the WWII (World War II), philosophical ideas sneaking in, and Kurt and Blaine being absolutely magnificent, strong and unwaveringly wonderful to each other. I love constructive criticism, so do let me know what you think. How can the storytelling be improved in your opinion? Just keep in mind the linguistic and historical inaccuracy disclaimer. This story does not strive to be a historical novel or a linguistic encyclopedia. It just borrows from history to explore character mainly. The characters in question are obviously Kurt and Blaine because they deserve all the good storytelling in the world that RIB+ sadly cannot provide. So we should try instead.
