The time period is 1950. Women are forbidden the rights that men have. Elizabeth, a young girl with a passion for studying and filling her brain with knowledge about the unfair world around her, loses her father, Burt, and is left completely alone. She disguises herself as a man, leaving the small town which she's lived her whole life. She gives herself a faux name, Kurt, in honour of her late father. On the way, she makes a new friend or two, and manages to learn some things that her books never teach her...*Based off of the classical musical Yentl starring Barbra Streisand.Warnings: Female!Kurt, Crossdressing!Kurt, But I promise, Blaine will still fall in love with Kurt. ;)
