Solitary and notoriously difficult ice skater Kurt Hummel famously failed in his attempt to win the first gold medal for the new sport of Similar Pairs Skating. Popular and charismatic Blaine Anderson needs a fresh start after an injury prematurely ended his promising hockey career.
