Kurt & Blaine's relationship survived their separation when Kurt moved to New York. Settled and happy four years later, can they make it through another farewell when Blaine gets offered the chance of a lifetime in Los Angeles? Blaine falls for the city, and embarks on a letter and postcard writing charm initiative to convince a less-than-enthusiastic Kurt to join him on the West Coast.
Author's Notes: My first dip in the fanfic writing pool, and I hope I keep my head above water. If nothing else, I'm having a hella good time writing it. I've always thought it would be fun to uproot our boys and have them play in my hometown. So, with Blaine Anderson as your tour guide, welcome to the City of Angels. Like postcards themselves, the chapters should read fairly short and sweet. By design, I don't really expect a chapter to go much past 3500 words. It should ultimately be a prologue, an epilogue and 12-13 chapters — one for each week of a summer season. Of course, in SoCal, it's just about summer all year, so let's see where that leaves Blaine. A couple of quick thank you's: To the lovely and talented wordplaying, who with a quick glance was able to dislodge a serious roadblock and gave me this sage, timeless advice on the art of writing a sex scene: "You can never go wrong with rimming." Truer words were never spoken. Thanks also to zavocado, who upon reading a few early paragraphs, responded with a "Do it!" and a keyboard smash. That unintelligible jumble of letters encouraged me to keep going, so thanks, Zane. I officially rated this M for some later shenanigans between two consenting adults in a longterm relationship. Most chapters will range between PG and R. Needless to say, I don't own Kurt, Blaine or any Glee characters. If anything, they probably own me.
If you don't add this to your favorites, you're crazy lol
