AU in that none of the events of Season 4 happen. Kurt witnesses a brutal beating while home from New York and everything slides into place. WARNING: Graphic violence. Child abuse

Author's Notes: I warred with posting this for a long time. I wrote it before season 4 but when it started left it to the side. This fic deals with the extreme side of the 'unaccepting Blaine's dad' idea. I really wanted to do a fic that delved into the reasons why Blaine changed so much and was suddenly desperate to keep Kurt in Lima and this happened. It deals with that and how Blaine ans his loved ones heal.Warnings: Graphic violence, a scene involving attempted murder. Swearing, mental issues, PTSD.The title comes from a Robbie Williams song, Road To Mandalay. It's beautiful and highly recommended listening.
