The Actor & The Musician

It's Junior year for Kurt Hummel and Blaine Anderson at the Tisch School of Arts at NYU. They both grew-up through difficult pasts and tragic backgrounds...until they crossed each other's paths at Tisch, where their story complicates from friendship to possibly more.

The Bar

Prelude: Kurt visits his father in Lima, Ohio for a couple days while Blaine stays in New York going about his business. An argument between Kurt and his father causes the man to return unbeknownst to Blaine, where he continues to go back to classes and work, avoiding the musician at all costs.Currently: Blaine grows weary of his past and of Kurt's absence. Frustrated with himself and his situation he sets off for a couple drinks at an unknown bar where he surprisingly meets a familiar face.

Prelude: Kurt and Blaine get into an argument about a bad day that the actor is having, and while it seems like an awful cascade of events the musician simply thinks he is being overly-dramatic and Kurt believes Blaine to be insensitive and not understanding.Currently: It has been three days since the argument and little to no contact between the two. What happens when Blaine has had enough of not seeing Kurt and plans on making it up to him with a do-over?

A series of four drabbles that follow after Halloween: 1) Blaine visits his father in the hospital. 2) Blaine goes out on the town with an old friend, mistakes are made, regrets are remembered, feelings are hurt. 3) Post Blaine/Kurt fight: Blaine heads back to Rochester to visit his old best friend's family where he reflects on all that's happened. 4) Post Blaine/Kurt fight: Kurt drives back to Lima but has to stop...having a sudden change of mind.

Cut All The Ropes and Let Me Fall

After Blaine told Kurt about the incident at the bar with Sebastian the two ensued in an argument that eventually led to the musician spilling that he is in love with the actor. When Blaine doesn't receive a response from Kurt he automatically assumes the man doesn't feel the same way and is nearly heartbroken. He retreats to his home town of Rochester while Kurt drives to Lima, both of them separating their ways until one realizes that maybe what he has been feeling isn't just confusion...but love.
