Kurt and Mercedes have been best friends since they were four years old and nothing can come between them - until a certain incident on a snowy Thanksgiving shakes their world. Kurt and Blaine are boyfriends. One weekend, during a sleepover, Blaine becomes very ill and is rushed to the hospital. He has contracted meningitis and Kurt becomes his caregiver.
