Author's Notes: I couldn't get the last scene of this out of my head and it developed into this.So I wrote it, as you do.

"Hello gorgeous," Kurt whispered quietly, wiggling his fingers in a slight wave through to window. Kurt was 100% sure he was in love. The object of his affections was a sleek, dark grey feline, with bright blue eyes. She was currently sat primly in her 'room' at the cat sanctuary, it was just a box really, big enough for her to move around in but not ideal. She regarded Kurt absently before licking her paw and brushing it over her ear. She went back to ignoring him.

Kurt turned to speak to his husband only to find the man no longer by his side. He looked a little further down the hall which was lined with the cat pens. One of the cats had been allowed to roam free within the corridor and it was taking full opportunity of the human currently willing to give it attention.

"I'll be right back sweetie," Kurt said to the beautiful cat that showed no sign of hearing him. Kurt wandered down to his husband who was kneeling on the floor rubbing the playful cat's belly.

"Blaine?" Kurt laid a hand on his shoulder to get the man's attention.

"Hmm?" Blaine looked up, his hand stilling. "I found the perfect cat and if you don't want her I'll leave you and take the cat anyway," Kurt deadpanned. Blaine's hand had been still long enough for the cat to prompt him too move it again and dig its tiny claws into the skin.

"Ow," Blaine took his hand back and watched the cat walk away unbothered. "Well that was rude," he said.

"The cat?"

"Yes, but you as well. Come on then, show me this creature that's trying to steal you from me."

Kurt reached his hand down to help pull Blaine to his feet and he didn't let go of it as he led Blaine to the enclosure with their soon-to-be pet in.

"She's perfect." Kurt said, pointing her out. She was now laying down her tail swishing slightly as she looked up at the humans outside her home.

"She reminds me of you," Blaine murmured looking at her.

"Oh, how so?"

"I don't really know maybe because she's perfect. I get the feeling you two will gang up on me."

"Mmh, probably. You wait until we add out kid to that mix, they'll have you wrapped around their little finger too."

Blaine turned to Kurt, one eyebrow lifted because they hadn't really mentioned kids yet, they'd been married a little under six months.

"Uh?" Kurt turned red as he realised what he'd said. Blaine's arms slid around his waist pulling him in and kissing his cheek.

"Let's see how we do with a cat first," he said. "Let me go find someone who works here."

The sleek grey cat nosed around the room, exploring every place she could of her new home.

"We need to name her Kurt," Blaine said.

"We can't rush naming her; she has to have the name forever."

She jumped onto the window still and then onto the small upright piano, nosing at the surface.

"I know one way she reminds me of you, she's very glamorous," Blaine said watching her she lightly jumped down form the piano and up onto the sofa.

"That's it!" Kurt exclaimed excitedly.

"What's it?" Blaine asked, confused.

"Her name. Grizabella, or Bella for short. As in Grizabella the glamour cat!"

"You want to name our cat after a musical character? That's purrfect for us," Blaine said before wilting under Kurt's glare.

"One more cat joke and you are sleeping on the sofa tonight and Bella can sleep on your side of the bed," Kurt threatened.

Grizabella wound her lithe body around her owner's legs, meowing in demand of attention.

It was late when Blaine crept into the house. Kurt would be asleep, he knew so he went about quietly. He softly padded into the bedroom in socked feet, already pulling off his shirt as he went. Once it was over his head he glanced at the bed and had to bite back a laugh. Kurt was curled up on his own side, hand reaching to Blaine's empty side, as it always did when Blaine wasn't there. Under his hand was a curled up black lump, which Blaine assumed was Grizabella, making use of all the extra space in the bed.

It has been a Lady and the Tramp moment when she'd first moved in. The pair had tried to get her off of their bed but eventually Kurt had given up and she'd been sleeping there with them ever since. It left her in prime position to claw and some ones arm or shoulder when she was hungry in the morning.

Blaine changed into his pyjamas and pulled the duvet back, slipping in and grabbing Bella around the middle, deposition her further down the bed. She glared at him but curled back up and went to bed. Kurt mumbled sleepily.

"That was mean."

"Mmh but I want to sleep next to my husband," Blaine whispered back, hooking his arm over Kurt's waist hand pulling his sleep relaxed body closer. Kurt wiggled slightly to get comfortable again then drifted off to sleep once more. Blaine basked in the comfort of his small family as he drifted off.

End Notes: Ok so if you don't know, Grizabella is from the musical cats or from Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats by T.S Elliot which is what the musical is based off of.Might do other one shots with Klaine and Grizabella because I love her. Also the cat santuary is based off a place in the UK, not sure what American ones would be like so I apologise if there is some hideous discrepancy here.
