Kurt sat in his room, staring out the window. His usually perfect hair hung down by his ears, framing his thin face with no volume whatsoever. His clothes, ordinarily the height of fashion, were simple sweatpants and a t-shirt (Which, of course, he wouldn't be wearing in public, ever). He felt as though his world was crashing down around him, he didn't even have time to pile all his family into a plane and fly over the wreckage like in that movie 2012. But that was what it felt like.

"Kurt?" His father. His dad was his rock right now, he could trust no one else. "Someone's here to see you." No. No one was allowed into his private quarters right now. But he still felt a rush of happiness as the door opened, and he saw him. Blaine.

"Hey." That was all he could say. He hadn't even gotten a chance to talk to his boyfriend about what had happened before he had gone racing out of the school, and didn't stop until he was home. "Kurt, this must be the hardest thing on earth for you."

"Ya think?!" He immediately regretted snapping. Blaine had that way to make him feel like he had just kicked a puppy whenever he was upset. "I'm sorry, you know I am." Blaine smiled, filling Kurt from head to toe with liquid calm. "I know you don't mean it. NYADA was your dream. You think it's all you had, but it really wasn't."

Kurt looked up incredulously at his boyfriend, his grey eyes full of shock. "NYADA meant everything to me. I can't believe I didn't even apply to any other schools, Christ, I'm so stupid!" he exclaimed, his eyes filling with tears instantly. "Shhhh, let it all out. Right now." Blaine whispered, wrapping his arms around the thin, pale boy before him.

As he leaned on Blaine, Kurt began to cry in earnest. He knew he could do this in front of Blaine, they were in love. He realized it then, that all he needed was Blaine to get him through this. Gritting his teeth, he stopped the sobs from choking out of his throat. "I love you." The whispered words made a slight smile creep across the beautiful boy's lips.

"I love you too." Blaine muttered, pulling Kurt into a long kiss, his hands caressing Kurt's pale, tearstained face. "It's not over." Kurt said, leaning back from the kiss and looking into his boyfriend's hazel eyes. "We still have each other." He placed Blaine's hand over his own heart. "Forever."
