It's raining when Kurt gets back to Ohio, but he goes straight to Blaine's house anyways. He's pounding on the door, yelling at Blaine to let him in, when Blaine pulls into the driveway.

"Kurt?"

Kurt turns around, wide-eyed. "Oh! There you are! I've been-"

"Looking for me forever?" Blaine smiles as he looks down bashfully. Kurt lets out a short laugh, shaking his head in disbelief. A heavy silence suddenly falls between them- Blaine waiting for Kurt to say something, Kurt trying to form his thoughts into words.

"Blaine," he begins. Blaine looks at him, his hazel eyes shining with hope. "These past few months I've been trying so hard to move on. I never thought I'd be able to. I mean, after winter break, I thought we were in a good place. We were talking again. And I even started seeing another guy..."

Blaine bites his lip, but nods his head for Kurt to continue.

"And then Mr. Schue's wedding came and that whole affair threw me into another tailspin. I kept telling myself it didn't mean anything... But I was wrong. Being with you would never mean nothing. In fact.." Kurt pauses, really looking at Blaine, "In fact being with you meanseverythingto me."

Blaine's breath hitches. He can't tell if it's his tears or the rain making his face wet. Probably a mixture of both.

"Blaine," Kurt continues as he slowly takes a step forward, "I'm not going to fight this anymore. I need you in my life. Not as 'just friends' and not as 'bros', but as partners. As equals. As...husbands one day."

Blaine stood there shocked. Did he just say...? "So you're not...over me?"

Kurt shakes his head firmly. "I was never over you. And I never will be."

And with that, he takes the final step between him and Blaine and leaps into his arms, legs wrapping around his waist. Their lips collide in a passionate kiss and Blaine holds on to Kurt as if he's never letting go. And he won't.

When they finally part, they gaze into each others eyes and Kurt says, "This is it, Blaine. You're it for me."

"Forever?"

Kurt smiles. "For eternity."
