Kurt and Blaine we're sat in the April Rhodes Auditorium. This was the first time they'd been alone together since Blaine left New York. They caught up and chatted. Kurt was telling Blaine all about his new boyfriend, he'd met online.

“We have our first date Friday…” Said Kurt.

“Oh… Uhm, I gotta go… Uhm, I really gotta get going and find those guys" said Blaine, trying desperately to hold back the tears that were forming in his eyes.

“Oh okay”

Blaine left the auditorium heavy hearted; he tried so hard to calm down. It felt like the air had gotten thinner, he couldnt breathe, Kurt was dating. He ran home, luckily Dave wasnt going to be home for a good few hours; he didnt finish college until late. Blaine sank to the bathroom floor, tears cascading down his face. Blaine's mind filled memories of him and Kurt; Their first kiss, first time, wedding planning even all the fights they had about toothpaste, desk spaces, even Chandler, he missed the good things and the bad… He missed every up and down with Kurt. Dave was great; he'd listen to Blaine and understand. But he just wasnt Kurt.

Blaine replayed the scene in his head, over and over again, he felt the pain of Kurt's words sting his heart, each time. Blaine had originally planned on telling Kurt that he was going to break up with Dave, he'd been doing a lot of thinking lately. Things had been really awkward with Dave especially since Principal Sue had found the Genealogy Tree showing that he and Blaine were related. He'd hope that he would express these feelings to Kurt and hoped that Kurt would agree that it was a good idea and maybe fight for him, just like he planned to when he first came back to Lima. He just wished he had someone to talk to about this, the most logical choice, had it been anything else, would have been Kurt, his best friend… the only person who really knew him. But this time it needed to be somebody else so he called the only person he could think of who comes anywhere close.

“Hey… It's it's me” Blaine said holding back tears “It's Blaine”

“Oh hey Squirt!”

“Coop… I really need my brother right now… I don't know what to do”

“Oh Bee What's up?” Cooper asked concerned.

“He's seeing someone else” Blaine said, his voice cracked as he broke down.

“Who is? Dave?”

“No… Kurt… Kurt is seeing a new guy.”

“ Thats good isnt it? He's moved on… now you can officially be with Dave?”

“Apparently I'm… well we are related to Dave, we're third cousins or something it's weird… I actually made him sleep on the couch that night. But if I'm completely honest I'm not fully over Kurt… I thought I was, until he turned up here a few weeks ago. I don't think I ever really was” Blaine sobbed “Kurt was my everything, coop.”

“I know he was Squirt”

“Ive been doing a lot of thinking lately… I've been thinking I might breakup with Dave. We just dont work… he's just not a right fit, and especially now that we've found out we're related… I can't even let him touch me at all”

“Oh Bee…” said Coop “Have you told Kurt how you feel”

“No… with him seeing this other guy I don't see the point…Kurt's moved on. He's got a date friday. I thought maybe he'd still be into me… that maybe he'd fight once I said Dave and I were related… he wanted me back three weeks ago… He was the best thing to ever happen to me”

“Does Dave know how you feel?”

“No...not yet.... I dont know what to do”

“Do you need me to fly out? I will….”

“No… I think I just need to think about what I want”

“Are you sure bee..”

“No… I'm not” said Blaine, chewing his lip “It'd be nice to see you”

“Then I'm there, Squirt”

“Thanks” said Blaine, as his call waiting beeped in his ear “I gotta go… someone is tryna call me, it'll probably be one of the guys… I better take it”

“Bye Bee. Love You”

“Love You too” said Blaine, before hanging up and answering. “Hello Blaine Anderson” he said trying to sound his normal self.

“Blaine! Where are you?” Kurt near shouted down the phone. “It's almost time for The Warblers to perform”

“Oh… Hi Kurt… I'll be right there… I just had to go see Dave.” Blaine Lied.

“Oh…” said Kurt, swallowing. “Couldn't sex wait until after the invitational?”

“That's not what we we're doing Kurt!” said Blaine, getting rather angry.

“Okay, whatever just get back here now!”

“Okay, okay, I'll be there in five.”

Blaine hung up, composed himself, washed all evidence of tears from his face and left the bathroom, to find Dave standing there. His heart sank, slightly, hoping Dave hadnt been stood there too long.

“Oh Dave… Hi” said Blaine “What are you doing here? I thought you were at college”

“I came home early I was going to surprise you at your Invitational thingy… I know you're nervous about it… and seeing Kurt again… so I thought I'd come and support you”

“Oh… Really?” said Blaine, feeling guilty.

“Yeah…” said Dave sensing something was up. “ Boo Boo, What's up?” Dave enquired, his eyes scanning Blaine face.

“Nothing Yogi… I'm fine”

“Blaine?!”

“What?”

“What's going on with you? You've been so distant lately…”

“I've had a lot on with the Invitational” said Blaine. “I'm sorry, I shouldn't put all that on you”

“Are you sure that's all that's bothering you?”

“Yeah,” Blaine smiled. “you ready to go? I need to go… The Warbler's are about to perform”

“I'll just get changed…”

“Okay… how about you meet me there? Its just
I really gotta go” said Blaine, standing on his tip toes and pecking Dave's cheek.

“Okay Boo Boo…” said Dave, feeling a little dejected. “I'll see you there”

Blaine left and headed back to McKinley, trying to get his head sorted before seeing Kurt again…
