“Hey Daddies, Daddies wake up” said the small blonde girl bouncing up and down on her dad’s bed.
“Whoa, what is it Melody honey” said Blaine blearily opening one eye.
“Come on daddy Blaine, Daddy Kurt wake up” she repeated.
“Wha- what’s going on” said Kurt sitting up.
“HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!!”
Melody jumped on her dads hugging them. The men laughed pulling her in to tight hug.
“Morning Mel.” said Kurt pressing a kiss into her Blonde curls.
“Here look I drew you a pretty picture at school. It’s a picture of you and daddy Blaine and me, on a rocket ship to mars”
“Awww its really cute… what does this bit say” said Blaine
“I love my daddies, and my daddies love me kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss”
“Awww” said Blaine; tears started forming in his eyes.
“Oh daddy why are you crying”
“I’m just really happy, Mel. really, really happy. I love you guys” said Blaine, pulling Kurt and Melody into another hug.
“Daddy Kurt, can you make your special chocolate pancakes, please pretty please”
“Yeah Kurt pretty please” said Blaine pressing a kiss to Kurt’s cheek.
“Oh Blaine, you’re almost as bad as her”
“Hey” they said in unison.
“Okay, okay, come one you guys… Family baking”
“Yay” squealed Blaine picking Melody up and heading down stairs Kurt followed close behind.
Kurt gathered the ingredients for the pancakes and started weighing stuff. Blaine snuck melody a handful of chocolate chips, earning him a disapproving glare from Kurt.
“Can I add the chocolate daddy” asked Melody.
“Go for it M.” said Kurt picking her up so she could reach.
When the mixture was prepared Kurt started cooking the pancakes. Blaine looped his arms around Kurt waist resting his chin on Kurt’s shoulder.
“I love it when we cook together”
“Me too, Blaine me too. hey how about a sing along” said Kurt.
“Yayyy”
“Made a wrong turn, once or twice dug my way out blood and fire, bad decisions that’s alright welcome to my silly life” sung Kurt
“Mistreated, misplaced, misunderstood, Miss “No way, It’s all good”, it didn’t slow me down” Blaine continued.
Melody sat and watched her daddies sing, she loved it when he daddies sang, they looked so happy.
“You are perfect, you’re perfect! Pretty, pretty please, if you ever, ever feel like you’re nothing You are perfect to me” they finished off together.
“I love it when you sing” said Melody “One day daddies will I be able to sing as good as you?”
“Yes, I’m sure you will” said Blaine placing a stack of pancakes on melody’s special Disney plate.
“Maybe we’ll speak to Auntie Rachel when we visit granddad Burt about singing lessons.” said Kurt settling at the table with a pot of coffee.
“Oh yeah she teaches at the new school doesn’t she”
“Yayy, I love Auntie Rachel, Uncle Finn, and Lily” said Melody.
“Come on” said Kurt, when they had finished eating “Let’s get ready, we’re meeting Rachel Finn and Lily in an hour and driving to Ohio together”
“Ooh road trip,” Blaine squealed.
“Oh Blaine, sometimes I think Melody is older than you!”
“Hey! I love road trips with Finn and those sing-a-longs with Rachel, we always have so much fun”
“Oh I do love you Blaine” said Kurt walking up behind Blaine and looped his arms around his waist and pressed a kiss to his cheek.
“and I Love my daddies” Melody piped up.
Blaine and Kurt walked around to their little girl and crouched down next to her.
“and we love our little melody” they said pressing a kiss to both her cheeks.
“Come on we should get ready”
